In this video lets see how to make keerai kadaiyal recipe in Tamil. This spinach kulambu / spinach kootu / kadaiyal /masiyal is made using pasalai keerai. This pasalai keerai is a super food as it has lot of nutrients and its very healthy to include this keerai in our diet. Ingredients :
1. Spinach - 100 grams
2. Toor dal - 3 tbsp
3. Onion /Shallots - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
4. Garlic - 3 Nos (chopped)
5. Green chilli - 2 Nos (chopped)
6. Tomato - 1 small sized (chopped)
7. Cumin seeds - 1/8 tsp + 1/4 tsp
8. Turmeric powder - 2 pinches
9. Required Salt
10. Required hot water
For tempering :
1. Sesame Oil - 1 tbsp
2. Mustard seeds & Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
3. Dried red chilli - 2 Nos
4. Onion - 1 tbsp (chopped)
5. Asafoetida - 2 pinches
