  • @QuantumBraced
    @QuantumBraced Před rokem +18

    WizzAir is perfectly fine. Yes, it's basic and you have to make sure you follow all the rules so you don't get charged fees, BUT you can fly from London to Athens and back for the price of a pizza. What do you want? The planes are clean, the staff is fine, planes are on time generally. Just eat in advance, make sure your bag does not exceed the allowed dimensions, scan your boarding pass sit down in your seat, watch a podcast on your phone, and you're at your destination. If you want a better experience, pay another $100 for British Airways. I really don't get people complaining, it really annoys me. These airlines have enabled millions of people to fly who couldn't afford to before, they're great in my opinion.

    Oh that month/date date/month thing got me a few times. It's not just security people, even some untrained airline people fall for it, too. The other thing is "travel back in time." I once had an airline check-in counter people told me I am crazy because I can't arrive one-day before the departure date, when going east bound from Asia... I had to get a supervisor to tell her she is wrong and she was like a deer caught in the headlight thinking "how do we travel backwards in time" and she works for the check-in desk! I think I literally watched her questioning her existence on this earth. I did the same to her and forced her to let the computer check me in because the computer will catch if I am not traveling on the right date.

    Hi Noel I really enjoy your videos. I know that different places around the world have different attitudes towards COVID than Canadians do but I don’t understand putting yourself in harms way for a show.
    I have produced shows for over 30 years and trust me no spot is worth it.
    The show you did with your son was interesting and entertaining and no one was exposed. I know we Canadians are a by the rules bunch but sometimes it pays off.
    Best of luck

    I've never had an issue with WizzAir....great budget airline. Always clean, on time and love Airbus, so ticks all boxes for me. As long as people know budget means budget and you put up with excess charges etc if you do the wrong thing, then no problems.

    • @Bobskiboy85
      @Bobskiboy85 Před 3 lety

      @@SNORKYMEDIA I think you mean blatant 'disregard' not 'regard' or that would be taken to be a good thing! Being late, well that happens in the current environment and better than being cancelled. With regard to Covid, some sectors are flying full again so what do you do, you cant force an airline to block out seats in middle rows, they will simply be crippled. I last flew with them three weeks ago and also with LOT two weeks ago and both enforced mask use except during the need to eat of course and they both handed out hand sanitizer wipes. So I don't know, but like everything give them a shot again as a benchmark. I've flown maybe 16 times with them and no issues.

      Bobskibrit I wouldn't feel comfortable flying on an airline that pays their pilots 17.000 Euros a year. Absolute shambles of a company that treats their employees like shit and firing staff for trying to form a union.

    Wizz Air had a period of offering ridiculously cheap fares on some routes from Glasgow to different cities in Poland, it provided some brilliant weekend trips! They have moved all of their Polish routes to Edinburgh and unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there are many bargains to be found anymore, maybe that's just the COVID market messing with things though.
