    I got to do that to my trail Hunter, so basically just took out all the screws except for the back to what holds down the front when you close it Velcro. Appreciate the video I am watching now

    I also have the t hunter evo. Strongly interested in the battery relocation

      Unfortunately, those who have installed the servo on axle kit in the t-hunter evo have shown that the servo still needs to be able to move up between the chassis rails, so no battery or esc there. Check out @DanPRC though, he has made a battery tray that fits over the motor. He sells them on EBay.

    Thank you Quinn. So glad you did that.
    i expected the transmission to be in the center of the chassis behind the motor, but not attached to the flatbed. I would never ever have guessed that.
    Is the cab removeable w/o removing the flatbed? That might make it easier to access the motor, esc, battery if one will fit in there after moving the servo and esc.
    I'm kinda saddened its not more flexible in there and I guess I had too high a hope for a cool looking trail rig with such great approach angle.
    Hope more people chime in and have ideas how to move that around to get that battery in there and making the cab and bed more flexible.
    Good vid. Thank you.

      I’m pretty sure that with the servo on axle kit we’ll free up space enough to jam a battery on there. You can separate the cab from the bed but there are 4 interior bolts that connect them. This makes it hard to devise a way to connect them separately to the chassis. That’s why I did the lift-and-swing method.

    Hi, I have an Evo hunter and a new fcx18. The gearbox of the former is much louder. Should grease be applied somewhere?

    • @QuinnsRC
      @QuinnsRC  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The EVO transmission is metal geared and the FCX18's is plastic. Metal will always be louder. You can open up the EVO transmission and add a little grease. Be careful though if you haven't done it before; these things tend to dump everything out in a pile when you open them if not done very carefully.
