-Be near Victory (in Africa).
-Get Pushed back.
-Fight a War you no longer can win.
-Quit.
pdx is supposedly gonna shorten industrial focuses in a future patch, making Ethiopia more fun and fast to play. also isn't it cheaper to take states in the peace deal, if you have justified your war for those states?
it is cheaper but its really not worth the extra time and pp it takes to justify imo
@@ivankopernika536 it didn't seem to me to actually do that here. What was the difference? 5 days and 5 pp? That looks like a good deal to me
@@512TheWolf512 in this case, no, but at the same time it's not likr you'll get to the peace deal anyways. In the usual case, it's an extra 50-60 days and an extra 10-20 pp. A whole focus worth of time isn't worth 5 warscore less for one state
@@512TheWolf512 The PP and time cost for claims during a justification depends on how many victory points the state has. So it's much more expensive to claim something like London compared to say Western Sahara.

Strangely, in my games the ussr simply never wins against the axis. They just don't build enough troops and leave gaps in the line, I have no idea what is going on with that
You would think somewhere around 20 million military casualties and God knows how many civilians the axis, allies, and comintern would negotiate some sort of ceasefire

That must have been one extremely awkward meeting when Ethiopia joined the axis. Not only would the diplomats be staring at the Italians (who just tried and failed to take over their lands and people) but also the Nazis (whom I assume would just LOVE the prospect of working with someone who claims to be "The Lion of Judah"). War makes strange bedfellows
Ethiopia can also potentially have a government in exile IN GERMAN REICH(if all else fails) in this game, ensuring Italy being at war with the Germans kek

Fun fact: those weird blue looking rail roads are rivers that can also connect to supply hubs
I think rivers have a limited transport capacity, and using a high/maxed level of railroad is better.

I really love ethiopia in bybloodalone. My advices for a better campain : 1. Leave allies alone in 1940. Rather get ships from national focus, invade Sauds and conquer one by one midleeast contries. Then help germans against soviets and get some soviet territory. After that you have industry needed against allies. 2. Keep asking unaligned natios(Argentina, Brazil, Portugal,Siam......) for waepons and convoys via lend lease. Simply improve their diplomatic relations above 40, and you wont have to worry about weapons anymore.

I think it would be a good idea to build some submarine 3s, I know you're lacking massively on industry but the subs will kill loads of allied troops.
Ireegulars with superior firepower may better for high attack and low supply but manpower problem would stay same

We write the year 1942: The whole wrld, or at least a great part of the world, has already researched the car/truck und produces it. But they have not heard of the ethiopian car/truck. It's enemies will flee sheer out of terror; it's allies will celebrate. The ethiopian car/truck will conquer the world!

Challenge: Play any democratic non major country. Use console commands to make all Majors fascist and put them in an Alliance. Then play until 1939 and if they haven't declared on you yet use commands to change that and then try to capitulate all of them.
Yea bc that would work, biggest (strongest) non-major nation at start of the game is probably poland, which is already har to play if you fight both germany and ussr, not to mention also france, italy, uk and usa

@@berndbrot7044 i was not offended at all, just thought the idea was outright stupid. And japan wouldn't play a major role in such case of events, as they usually focus on their war in china as fascist japan.

I agree, it would be very interesting, but that is just too impossible to do. Sth in the lines of "put usa, ussr and germany in one faction and hold as austria". If you know what i mean.
