@Christian Bai The only thing that's still communist about China is their leading party's name. Nothing more, nothing less. Also, the USSR was mostly pseudo-communist, as it had lost pretty much the last shred of Marxism when Stalin came into power.

You counted Sinkiang as submitted twice: Once when you noticed their units were blue, and then another time when you got the event for it. That's why you only got 1 puppet but counted 2

I’m sure you figured it out, but only Sinkiang submitted. You saw sinkiang’s troops ally with you so you knew they joined you, and then saw a message that a state submitted, so you thought another one joined, but that message was for sinkiang.
It’s super fascinating how we take in so much info without realizing it, and how that really messes with us sometimes.
Annex mainland Europe as Greece. I have no idea why, I’m not even from Greece. You can join an alliance, but you’ll have to leave it when it’s time to conquer them.

If it can be done, doing it with yemen would be one hell of a game
Its very difficult for sure but it can be done. Try rushing mobile inf/tanks. Most of the arab world has access to oil, but your AI neighbors won't bother developing tanks for several years. Also keep your divisions small (10w) at first to mitigate the supply issues that can arise from the poor infrastructure.
Do it with saudi,you border all the independent Arabic countries and the British and French colonies (after taking out Iraq).

How you managed to take out all four warlords as quick as you did amazes me. In particular, Guangxi is a pain in the ass because they always have troops on their main two cities with bunkers meaning it's a grind to take them out, even with air support. Bravo!

"Naval witchcraft" is the most accurate description I've ever heard for this game 😅
FYI, if you hit control-B it will strat redeploy units along their existing movement path. That is a little bit faster than strat redeploying them all to one tile and then having them fan out automatically. Note that this is different from the normal strat redeploy shortcut, and for some reason it only works if you have units from just one army selected.

A piece of advice for army controls: always draw an attack line to have a planning bonus and use shift+lmb to draw one Frontline out of several ones

I love the beginning of your videos, planning, preparing to war, fighting, the same methods can be applied to a live player.
However, when you join a faction just to smuggle hundreds of divisions to the other continent, there is no big plan anymore, you just take advantage of the fact that AI is completely unable to defend itself from a false ally, it's completely broken. :(

Having played China a few times before the latest update I think you got the best outcome really. Sinkiang is easily the most annoying warlord to conquer really. I guess the only better one would have been Xibei saying yes as well so you can integrate and get their generals.
Best strat from what I could tell is running 4 width ahead of time infantry equipment and constantly ramming into the front along with building only military factories for the entire war w/ 0% Consumer Goods factories.

Taureor, if your troups don't automatically redeploy you can press ctr+b and they will take the railroad
You can also hold shift while setting a field marshall order and the individual armies won't get orders, it's just 1 large order for the entire army group

Taureor, if you hit Ctrl+B while your armies are moving to the front you can make them strategically redeploy without changing their route, so you dont have to make them go into one tile and then spread out.
In La Résistance, it is possible to pressure a non-aggression pact with Japan via spies!

What division template did you use to push out the Japanese? I'm at 1940 with a few extra tiles but I can't push unless I micromanage stacks of divisions? I no longer have army corruption and incompetent officers debuffs.

As the Netherlands, you have the decision to form the formable nation of the European Union. However, you can also form the faction of the European Union through your focus tree. The challenge is to do both.

New Zealand Pacific Rim Challenge: conquer the Pacific Rim and everything within as New Zealand. Special Rules: limit yourself to one Order 66, use Bob Semple tanks at some point, and teach us the ways of fighting Kaiju using the Hoi4 naval system.
So played a game with Chima too. For some reason Communist China got involved in the war with me as an ally against Japan, the Soviet Union invited me to their faction and they attacked Japan. No idea what happend there.
