If you haven't yet, I recommend picking up an ABY box. I've got my JMP and Top Boost inputs connected to it. Sounds real good. Also where do like to set your gain for edge of breakup?
I actually got a video coming out in a couple weeks where I use an ab box into the jmp and top boost being boosted by a tube screamer. I used my buddys talman with a jb in the bridge for maximum gain. For my tele I like the gain around 1 or 2 o clock and the limit around 11 o clock. That’s with quarter pounders which are hot to say the least haha.
6:30 with the RAT already on and if you put a tubescreamer with its level on full and gain set very low in front of the RAT, how well do you think this amp can do heavy metal? Can it do it without the RAT? Thanks
That was basically me trying to use the rat as a boost with the gain as low as possible. I normally use a rat being boosted by a tube screamer in my band but my board was at the rehearsal space so I just tried boosting it with a rat I had at home. I’m gonna do another video at the rehearsal space boosting it with a tube screamer and show how well it works with pedals(rat boosted with tube screamer).
@@TangentGrove yeah the tube screamer will cut out some of the low end flub that the Rat can't do. Yeah I am very curious about these amps especially this UK one since I want to see how it can do the hot rodded Marshall sound. Thanks
Speakers breaking in seems to be a common theme…..

@@TangentGrove Thanks. Of course I know it's all depends on the guitar and the pickup and one's own ears, but it always good to get input.

What guitar were you using?
2010 American standard Tele with Fender Gen 4 Noiseless pickups
