Soon as my company 2017 F150 V8 comes off lease I can buy it at 70% of KBB value. Then I add a level kit and your same tires! Love it. Thanks for the inspiration.
I have a ‘17 F150 Super Crew with a 2.5in level kit and Toyo 295/60R20 tires and +22 offset Fuel wheels and no spacers. They are 34in tall with 11.6in of tread on the road with no modifications and no rubbing. They are essentially flush with the fenders with maybe a 1/4-1/2in sticking out. I have a bit more clearance than he does. I would thing he might rub if turning over a bump. Nice vid, thanks
Damn thing looks sweet just as it sits. I usually don't like the white letters out or those factory wheels but they look damn good with the white truck.
So I watched your video and pretty much did exactly what you did. Same tires same spacers but I went with a 2.5 mammoth leveling kit. I love the set up. The tires are awesome. I just got the tires on today.
Great tires. You made out pretty good. I've run those on my last truck, and will be again on my new truck soon. Only negative is they get louder and louder as they wear.
MosT aggressive tires do, my 35” nitto trail grapps are mud terrain tires so they are already pretty noisy but have been getting louder as of recent, but I love the hum so
Looks good man! Bone stock on my 2013 F150 4x4 I managed to fit 285/65r18’s with no issues. I’m going to level it this summer and should have a little extra room to go at least one size bigger. 👍
Those look great! Surprised wider than 275 fit, but those are factory wheels. I have 20in wheels and want to drop to 18, but I may have to stay at 275 since most aftermarket wheels are going to push out 1" due to most being 18mm to 25mm offsets when I'm 44mm now. Thanks for the video. LOL just watch the last little bit, and saw that they rubbed. So maybe that extra bit of offset in most aftermarket rims would help.
Not sure what I want to do with mine yet. I ordered a Fox 2.0 leveling kit already, but do I stick with the stock 20” Rims or go aftermarket? Prob going for 295/65r20 Toyo or Nitto, really like the design of the Toyo RT. I had a level on my 16 2500HD Silverado, ran 305/75R17 Toyo AT2, with Vision off road rims, and it was Solid. Not sure what Wheel/Tire combo to go with on my F150.
I'm putting 295/70/18's on my 2018 with Bilstien 5100 leveling struts on top notch. Going to be running 18x9 wheels with 0 offset/5 backspacing. From what I've found, it should work with minor plastic trimming. Going from stock +44 offset to 0 pushes the wheel out 1.68". Should clear everything in the back fine but the poke creates wider turn radius so it'll probably rub the plastic in fender well. We'll see soon!
This is exactly what I'm doing! Would you say the upper control arm clearance, between the arm and tire is about 2"? I'm wanting this set up but also wanting to run chains. The 44 offset with 275x65 was not enough clearance. Going to 295x70r18 but can't decide between 0 offset and negative 19. Want plenty of room for chains but like you said don't want to have alot more trimming do to larger swing radius.

@@WICKEDAUTO1 Yes, they are a touch smaller, I was worried they would rub. My truck is identical to yours, same color as well. Only difference is I have 17 inch rims. Your video was what convinced me in doing mine. Lol.

Install 2" Rough Country Levels on my 2015 F-150 Super Crew with long bed then put on Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT All-Season LT315/70R17 on stock wheels. No Rubbing what so ever. With Wheel Alignment rides perfect.
I have the rough country 2” lift as well. Just bought 295/70r18 the Falken AT3W. I should be good right? I figured the BF Goodrich would be hella big lol.
Thanks for this video. I went with a similar set up 2.25" readylift leveling kit, 34" x11.5" cooper st maxx, 1.5" spacers and rear blocks delete. Looks great tires stick out barely 1/2" and it rides really well
I just got a 2018 lariat. I want to basically do exactly what you did to yours and keep the stock rims. I’ve done zero upgrades. I want to do 2” leveling kit, 1.5” spacers and get a bed cover and a cool air intake.
I love them except for the gas mileage lol but if you get the 295/70 you will need a 1/2in spacer. You should be able to get away with a 285/75 no issue but cant say 100%. 295/70 is 34.2/11.6 the 285/75 is 34.8/11.2
@@keyboardoperator802 with a 12.5 I'm sure you would need an offset of some sort whether it be rims or a spacer. With my size and the 1/2in I'm flush with the wheel well.
I have the same truck/package , 2020, same rims. Considering doing a level kit and using the same tire size - were you able to get rid of all rubbing and clearance issues with using the spacers?
It doesn't surprise me you need wheel spacers. I think that's the one thing people overlook when they install these leveling kits. Everyone is concerned about tire height, not taking into consideration that taller tires usually bring additional width with them. I bet that upper control arm clearance is almost non existent. Truck looks great, though. Probably don't need terribly large spacers to eliminate the rub. My 2020 F150 came with P275/55 R20's, though I plan on swapping them for LT285/60 R20s after it's leveled. Good thing you realized the rub issue early on. Once the spacer issue is resolved, I'm sure that truck is gonna some fun riding.
