i must say the fitment gallery is arguable the greatest thing truck related on the internet...
It really is bro i lifted my truck in 2010 and idk if these guys were around but I spent hours days almost weeks looking for what would work and look the best online- now so easy I wish I thought of making this business...
Ive got a 2018 f150 with a 2.5" BDS leveling kit and 295/65/20 ridge graps, no rub at all on stock 20" king ranch wheels. Lock to lock no issues.
2016 F150. No leveling kit. 285/65r20 on stock rims. BF Goodrich all terrains. That equals 34.6” tall and 11.5” wide. No rubbing or any issues. Been on for 25,000 miles.
‘16 F-150 FX4: Stock rims, 33x12.5 R20 no trimming, crash bars still in, zero rubbing! 2 1/4” level.
What my dad has. It looks good
Same but 17 inch wheels
FYI. You can fit 295/70/18 tires no problem with just a leveling kit ( larger than the 295/60/20s)
Have you done this mod yourself ? Was there any tire rub? And what size level did you go with?
What wheel offset?
@@satoshinakamoto7268i have 295/70/18 2.5” level no rub at all have not had to do any mods to mitigate any noise
Just got a 16’ and this was by far the most helpful video I’ve found on the CZcams 👍🏼🍻🤟🏼
What size tires did you end up with?
I'll add my truck soon, 4inch BDS 18x9 +1 on 325/65R18, minor plastic trimming on inner fender wells, plenty of crash bar clearance
My truck was in the video! It was the second one they showed on the 2" leveling kit.
Nice truck man what you have is what i want to do you do any trimming or anything? Or do u rub anywhere
What tires and wheel size with offset are those ?
I have 20x9 +20 offset. Thinking of 295/60 tires.. saw a 285/65 today though which is a 34.5 inch tire basically but a little narrower. Wondering if both would fit without trimming
Great video guys! I'm running a 2016 f150 with 305 / 55R-20's +25 offset and I had to cut the front crash bars due to rubbing... Looks great though... IMO that's the biggest you can go without a lift.
Claims that truck but doesn’t respond to questions about said truck. Lier
‘18 F-150 FX4: Stock wheels, 35x12.5 R18 KO2s with Rancho 2.75” level....zero rub!
What about a 17x9.5 on 35x12.5 17 will this rub with a level?
@Maxwell Smart Stock wheels are a +44 offset.
Was anticipating this video for a while. Thanks.
Still waitin on a 05 f150😢
I have a 2018 F150 leveled with Fox 2.0 coil overs. No trimming done, standard 18” FX4 rims with +44mm offset and I have Toyo AT3 295/70 R18. No rubbing issues.
hell yes .. been waiting for this video . thank you
I got a 4 inch lift and I instantly regretted buying it I should’ve just bought 6 inch and not gone with rough country, bds is the way to go
Anything particularly wrong with the RC lift?
Look at the iihs crash tests of the 15 super crew vs corresponding ram year, you'll want to keep the crash bars if you like your legs intact.
I have a 2017 Platinum that I shared on the gallery with 20x10-12 Fuel Mavericks and 35x12.5 BFG K02’s. I have no rub at all unless I have someone in my passenger seat. That weights the truck down just enough to have a rub on the passenger side. It’s weird how that works. But that’s how close it is for that set up for me.
That being said, has anyone pushed their crash bars forward like 1/8 of an inch? Haha probably all id need to never rub again. Rather not cut them. Might just leave them too.
At some point diameter does cause rubbing. Even with a level, turned at full lock the outside edge of the tire comes close to the fender and crash bar. And this is with zero articulation which can change things. So taller tires and wider tires bring that corner closer and closer. Offsets pushing the tire farther outboard only amplify this. Also, lol, didn't used to have crash bars but now they do...yes, because trucks had to get safer and couldn't just rely on being big. It's to help keep your wheels and tires from taking out your legs on a small overlap crash.
I had a 6-inch fab-tech installed on my 2018 crew cab with 20x10 ( 35x12.5 ) with no modifications at all.
Hey. Whats your offset
I guess for a parking lot princess you can put the biggest tire you can that doesn’t rub but if you actually use your truck and flex the suspension you’ll rub. I will say a 285/70/17 33X11 will not rub at full flex with one front tire or one rear tire not touching the ground. I’m on a 2 inch vertex coilovers
2009-14 f150 please
Currently running a 3.5" lift with 20x12s in 33x12.5s. I should have probably trimmed a little, but I had already removed my valence when installing my Westin push-bar. Only rub is when my wheel is cranked and i come off a curb or ledge, or turning too far in reverse.
Chris Topher I’m running a 3 inc lift with 35s with no trimming and doesn’t rub anything not sure why but a lot of people I know that tried running 35s but they say it rubs
I gotta upload my 2014 with RC level fits 35x11.5 with stock rims no cutting or trimming to the gallery. I couldn’t find anything anywhere with the stick rims when i was doing my build. RC says 12.5 will fit with factory rims but glad I went with 11.5 with the ridge grapplers because the 12.5 would have been all over the control arm and the lugs probably wouldn’t even have went all the way on the wheels
Stock rims are even better for zero rubbing/trimming right ?
The video I’ve been looking for!
6inch lift on a 2018 f150 and 35s rub im mad, the only rub when you do turns on unleveled terrain like going down a small drop and things like that.
Just the video I’ve been looking for!
Has Custom Offsets done a crash bar swap? Supposed to create more room while keep the bars. Requires front bumper removal and cutting and replacing 4 bolts. Would like to see a video if you guys do this mod!
2009-2014 Ford F-150
I'm running Kenda Klever RT 35x10.5r17 on stock rims and no suspension mods at all.
FULLER SHAVED!!!!!👶🏻
Best trucks.
2015 only had crash bars on the crew cab.
This was very helpful THANK YOU!
Finnally I have been waiting for thus video thank you !!!! But my question is what is the highest offset on a rim that you can get on a 6 inch lift without cutting the bars out It wasn't said in the video.
lowest offset* higher means the more it will sit in side the wheel well. Check our gallery out for fitment help! 6" lifted F150's here- bit.ly/2jhm6QP
do another F150 "What Fits" but WITH the crash bar mod!
Perfect needed a video like this
Just put a 12in LIFT in everything!!!😂😂😂
OK so I hope you guys can answer me this. I have a 2011 Ford F150 platinum with stock suspension that I want to do a 3 inch lift in the front and a 2 1/2 lift in the back that will probably be a rough country lift. I acquired some 17“ x 9” +35 offset raptor wheels wrapped in a 35 x 12 1/2 tire. I have a feeling that crash bars will probably need to be trimmed but my question is, will I be able to fit them underneath with a 1 1/2 inch wheel spacer. I believe this will make it about a +6 offset. Thank You!!!
Type in the specs you are trying to run in the gallery to see what fits man! customoffsets.com/gallery
I know this is older but I have a 2019 f150 and I want to do a 2.5” level with that bull dog poke look but I don’t want to cut my crash bars maybe just have my local shop spread them or push them back a bit based off the gallery the best option for that look without cutting bars is 20x10 and I want a rim with a big lip I’m guessing a tire that’s a tad smaller than 33 will be just fine but I don’t know if the gallery people that state they fit it without cutting crash bars is accurate or if they just didn’t mention it...
You’ve got bunk links in the description
Let's see the 2nd gen 2500
Do obs fords next or square bodies
35x11.5r20 on stock +44 no trimming. They say it's being done with just a level. Hoping it was in this video.
We're not a big fan of stock wheels! Every vehicles gotta have aftermarkets!
@@CustomOffsetsTV Ok, that's kind of narrow minded. When you spend 50k+ on a brand new truck why wouldn't you run the bigger upgraded stock wheels for a few years. I guess I will buy just tires from somewhere else then. By the way I am a past customer from 2017, Thanks
Custom Offsets I have a 2017 with the RC 2 1/2 leaving kit you say 0 offset for a 34” tire if the wheel were a 18+ will that help with the size tire you can run?
@@jameshoward3071 I can verify for an 18 with stock 20s with +44 offset that 295/65R20 fit! 35.1x11.8
Would like to get a video on the breakdown of the new Rough Country with Vertex shocks lift kit. Are they better, worst, or the same as the industries leaders (bds, fabtech, etc.)
Berto Worthy im running RC 6" lift with vertex shocks on 20x12 wheels 35x12.5 tires and so far the ride on my truck feels awesome. Ride is way smoother. Specially having the ability to adjust front and rears
np432 have you owned any other lift brands? I really started to move away from getting a RC lift these past few weeks after doing my research. Obviously their one of the cheapest on the market but from videos and forums the ride quality isn’t up to par to other brands. The shop where I’m going to have my lift installed is an RC authorized dealer so he’s been trying to sell me on this new setup but I’m leaning more towards the BDS 6’ Lift with Fox rear shocks and purchase front Fox 2.0 Coilover separately. It’s around $2.9k compared to the RC setup which is $2.6k! Any major trimming or rubbing running that tire setup with the RC lift? Thanks!
We'll be doing one soon!
Sledge hammer, bang the crash bar back 1". Problem solved.
Alex Puls Sounds like a good idea instead of cutting

Did that end up fitting ok?
I have a 2107 f150 xlt super screw 2wd I just installed 20x10 -25offset Tis 544mb wheels with 275/5?-r20 toyo proxies at 3’s and they slight rub close to full lock , I’m about to install a 3 inch level im hoping will solve my issue instead of having to trim the crash bars .. anyone else running a similar set up ?? Tires are 31.9 I believe .. or maybe 32.9 . I originally planned to lower the truck -3 /-4 or 5 and add the painted raptor style flairs for that perfect imo stance .. I have about 1.5 of poke outside the fenders now and it looks amazing
Can you do a video of all stock OEM equip...I want to keep my 20'' x 8.5 rim
Will FUEL THROTTLE wheels 20x10 -12mm fit on a 2018 F150 2wd? Plz look this up . I haven't seen any pictures. The truck will be leveled
What about 22x10 -18 offset on a 6inch rough country lift? Any rubbing?
I bought my truck leveled/lifted slightly. How do I tell how many inches exactly so I know to get the right size wheel/tire combo? Thanks.
You would have to try to compare to a stock height truck! 🙏🏻
Did you figure it out? I did the same thing. I bought my truck already leveled. I don’t know what kit was used or how much lift it gave me. I’m guessing 2.5 at least. Ford dealer says I should be able to fit up to a 34”. I think I’m gonna go with a 20x9 with a +1 offset on 295/60R20. I’m going with the Toyo Open Country A/T 3 tires.
@@aqua.scape69 I took to suspension shop and they said mine looks about like a 3 inch lift. 33s should fit at tha height.
I started my car with no level and 35’s, over course there was rubbing. I put on a 2.5” front and 2” rear level, and that made the rubbing go away a little bit. I am currently building a raptor and had to get those 3” wide fenders so i also put in 3” worth of wheel spacers which kinda brought a little more rubbing back but nothing dangerous. I did cut both crash bars in front and behind the wheels and a little bit of cutting of my fiberglass fenders on the bottom, turns like a dream with no more rubbing. If you want or need to see my build, my Instagram is @dia8etic. Hope this helps
I have a 2015 f150 with 3 inch rough country lift with 20x10 -18 offset fuel contras on Nitto ridge grapplers 33 by 12.5. No cutting if crash bar
B Law95 how is that RC 3” lift? I’ve heard mixed things

‘18 f150 XL 4x4 has 265/70r17 stock. Will 285/70r17 fit with no level? Seems like everywhere people automatically put a level on so I haven’t seen an answer. Mines a company truck and any lift or level would be out of my pocket.

On my 2020 I’m on a 2.5 level with 20x10 wheels not sure the offset I bought them used. It’s not an aggressive offset I only have about 1.5 inches of poke and I’m running a 35/12.50/20 tire no rubbing at full lock going forward but I get some rubbing in reverse. Why I have no clue but I’ve done no trimming what so ever

You think a ready lift 7 inch on 37s with 20 inch venomrx604s would need to be trimmed or crash bar mods?
Truck at the end, needs more rubber less wheel.
Does the level fittament suggestion matter if it is a RWD vs a 4x4? I know the 4x4 is about 1.25" higher due to drivetrain and the block in the rear
