Perfect stance for that truck. Exactly what I want.
Went with the morimoto headlights, foglights and tail lights on my 2018 f150 stx 4x4 5.0. Bought them within a couple days of getting my truck and love everything about them. Sequential turn signals are awesome and even the low beams are super bright. I even bought the optional clear vinyl protection for the headlights and fog lights. They have been worth every penny and no ones F150 quite looks like yours in the sea of F150s out there.
I really, really like what you did here. I have an '18 F-150 XLT 302A w/the 5.0 and I really like the truck but wanna get some mods on the cheap and you did a great job making that truck look exactly what it should look like- love it
Looks awesome, everything is very clean and subtle with great attention to detail, and it all comes together seamlessly for a great overall look. I had coopers and I liked them a lot but they wore out really fast and didn’t wear evenly. I ended up getting General grabbers and they have Been the best tire I have ever owned.
Thanks man I really appreciate that!! I've actually thought about them for the next set. These coopers are great so far but are killing my gas mileage more than I want.

Nice mods man good looking truck. I like the fitment and wheels and tires. That's the same leveling kit I was looking into keep it up!
One thing I would recommend to you is to swap your driver side handle for a passenger type handle with no key. Reason being is I dint know this myself until my truck just got broken into last week, but that is the easies way to brake in your truck once you swap out your handle and remove the wire from the inside of the door you won’t be at risk to get broken into. Ford knows about this issue and even when you ask them for the replacement door handle they know you mean the one handle with no key. The only thing that sucks is you have to get it painted because ford only sales it in black. Just FYI

Our mod paths are nearly identical! I can’t see pulling the trigger on 1500 dollar headlights...lol Glad you got the truck back, on my second oil change and the “tick” is very faint if at all there anymore...still have the rattle on deacceleration...I’ll have to make a video to show off my build. Looks great. We have pretty similar mods. I had to get rid of those lug nuts though. Couldnt stand that they were the only chrome thing on my truck.

I actually think the little bit of blue showing on the wheel caps looks cool. It almost looks like a little pin stripe around the black. Your truck is lookin great, you got a sub from me!
Oh and by the way, if the whistle you’re referring to is during acceleration and between 1500-2200 RPM, it’s not the antenna. It doesn’t do it in Park or Neutral, only in gear. My truck does it and I experimented a little today to rule out some things. I found that it only does it under normal acceleration and it seems to fade in volume as I get into the higher gears, but that could be just the wind making it harder to hear. I power braked it and the whistle was there at the same RPM’s even though the truck was sitting still, so that rules up the grill shutters or anything exterior on the truck. I’m convinced at this point that it’s either something with the secondary high pressure fuel injectors or it’s in the transmission.

Love the mods brother. I just got a used 2018 STX 4X4. I'm keeping my stock 20's but I am doing a front level and taller tires. The jury is still out on 33's vs 35's though.
Pretty sure it’s the antenna for the whistle. I just replaced mine last week and have noticed the whistle. It’s really bad on the hwy. about to order something different.
It is super annoying but if you turn the radio up you don't hear it lol

I have a ‘15 Sport. Blue flame with a 2inch level. Love it. Lol so I kept my blue accents on my wheels and emblem. Loving the tires. No rubbbing?
Yea the blue would go well! You could still go onto that site and possibly find a closer shade to your truck to match. They rubbed the uca on a bump and full turn at the same time so I put 1/2in spacers on and good to go

My stocks rims?...yep sure did. Tires fit and just plasti dipped them black

What was your process to paint your exhaust tip, I was gonna order a black tip but if spraying it works then I'd rather paint it, I have a 19 5.0, praying to the Ford gods I don't have any issues with it.
I just rubbed it down with 1000 grit sandpaper and used high temp black engine spray paint from auto zone. Fingers crossed for you man lol
Thanks for the video! I have a similar truck looking to do the same mods. Just got a 2” RC level... I noticed you said you had to get spacers after getting new tires.. Just curious if you know, what tire size to go with if you wouldn’t want to add the spacers?! Or also, have the spacers affected your drive/ride in any way?
The spacers make it a little stiffer but not horrible in anyway. Id go a tad smaller than what I did here but somehow others have said they fit 35s with a level so not 100%

What running boards are those? I really like how they tuck in close to the body and don't droop so low or stick out like others do.
That's exactly the only reason I didnt change them out! But they are the stock xlt 302a sport running boards, whichever they are. You could get onto ford and build that package and itll show you exactly which one it is to order then from tasca
Any other suspension work other than the leveling kit? Did you have any rubbing or trimming with those tires? Nice truck, I have a white 2018 looking to add black wheels and all terrain tires as well
I had bilstein 5100s in the rear, wasnt a fan of them. I did have to get a 1/2in spacer as the tires would rub the uca from time to time. If you check out my 19 build playlist I have all the video's I've done to that one. On the same level I fit 20x9 +18 with 275/65/20 ridge grapplers and fit perfect and love the tires!

Yep stock lugs as ford has conical lugs so it seats evenly and all that, got 8 full turns which is more than enough. Those are mud terrains and 34s

@@chrisnewby5713 do some research before you speak next time. You have to re-aim your headlights after installing leds. The people that dont are the ones that are blinding you.
How do you like the led low beam light bulb? I know this video is a year ago how are the light bulbs working for you?

They are stock rims, I plasti dipped them. Did that probably 3-4months ago n still look like I just did it.
So now do you recommend beamtech or low beams? Or the Phillips used to have? I just got an 18 and I want to upgrade the headlights what should I do?
Look at F150LEDS, that is what I have now and by far the best bulbs I've had!

How did you get your taillights open to paint the chrome?
You don't open the taillights for the chrome, it's on the outside. Just tape off the rest of the light and good to go.
And did the same with the center caps

When did you get the 1/2 spacers because I just watched the first video that you did you when you first got the tires and you did not mention the spacers for that video?
Yes I did, I said towards the end that the tires rubbed a bit so I'd have to add spacers. It was maybe a week later I added them.
Where did you get those rims. I have the exact same ones on my F150 but in silver. I would love to get them blacked out. Any help about where you got them or how to do that would be appreciated!
Those i had got from a local shop but you can find them online and have a local discount tire get them

Tires are 295/75/18, I put a 2in level on and 1/2 spacers.

Why do you need sand paper to paint the taillights? Just curious? I want to do the same for taillight's with tint. And I want to get Anzo headlights too! They just came out not too long ago for $560 switchbacks and look good! Morimotos are expensive! But look better but can't beat Anzos
Sanding helps the paint to adhere better so I dont have to go back and repaint at all. Now tint is a different story though. It also depends on what tint you use. I've used the spray that you can peel off but I'm sure you dont sand with a normal spray tint either. The last I checked the anzos were going for around 7-800. There is a set for 560 but that is a different manufacturer, those are by alpharex. Those are the set that I want. I think they are the best looking and the price is so much better than the rest. Their nova series are even better but the price is up there between anzos and morimotos.

@@09snookie09 that's exactly why I switched to them. I like the LED on the outside not the inside. I believe these come with halogen bulbs just like the anzos but their nova series has switchbacks and LED bulbs already.

I did have some at full lock with one tire higher(on a bump/hill) than the other on the uca. I put 1/2in spacers on and perfect since!

Absolutely!! After I detailed it this past weekend I really saw how bad the front bumper is. It has like 6 or 7 little chips in it. Other than the 3 that also look like they are rusting already you cant tell they are there unless you get the bug guts off. The paint is horrible on fords period, there is a thread on the forums about others with different colors chipping already

@@vanillathunder8112 it really depends on how clean you'll keep the truck I guess cuz like I said with some bugs on there u cant tell its chipped just blends in. However I will say I love my white truck, think it looks clean as hell but on the replacement I'm going to go black just because of the chips. If you would do a clear bra on it it probably wouldnt be an issue then.

Sadly I have none. Their excuse was the TSB fix for the rattle, they tried saying the starter was the same problem...neither of course are fixed.
