I've lived in Arkansas my whole life. In 1967 when I was 7 years old my Aunt was staying the night with us and she slept in my bed with me, before we fell asleep a bigfoot walked up to our bedroom window like he was looking in. It was dark in our bedroom but the porch light was on so we could see outside. My aunt told me to be very quiet, he only struck around a couple minutes. He was so tall, I will never ever forget it.

NW Arkansas native here. I really enjoyed hearing this one since it's so close to home for me. The Buffalo national forest is massive. Not only does it have deer but also elk. In my mind there is definitely enough food to support large creatures there.
North Central here, not far from Mt. Home. Between Mt. Home and Gainesville MO.

Ass native Arkansan I respect and truly appreciate hearing stories from my home state. I reside in the Central Arkansas area Hot Springs National Park to be exact. I have never over my years of being out in the woods never experienced an encounter. I have although experienced strange noises and things in the woods that in my feeble old mind just cannot be explained. I've never seen anything out of the ordinary but I have heard things and smelled things that just aren't normal in said woods. I do believe with all my heart there are things everywhere that just can't be explained away. All that being said I have a great respect for the folks that are brave enough to tell their encounters and stories of encounters on this channel or any other channel they choose to tell their stories. It is nice to hear stories of encounters from my home state. Keep up the great work. I love the stories here and a few other Cryptid channels. You guys are awesome. Thank you for the entertainment it provides for me.

Sleep paralysis was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. It only happened once to me during an extremely stressful time in grad school. But I remember the whole experience so vividly. I woke up on my bed staring up at the ceiling, unable to move anything besides my eyes. Every time I tried moving I got that sensation of being electrocuted, like grabbing an electric fence except it would originate from the back of my neck and shoot down my spine and limbs until it hit the muscle I was trying to move. I remember thinking in that moment that I was probably asleep, and that your brain shuts off communication with your limbs while you sleep so that you don’t hurt yourself, and those electrical signals shooting down my limbs were probably signals my brain is trying to send to my muscles in vain. That’s how incredibly lucid I was, having these entire trains of thought as I’m just laying there unable to move. Then the creature entered my room. It was always just out of my range of my vision but man could I hear it move around. It sounded like a small humanoid goblin creature (kind of like Gollum) and had this horribly raspy breathing. It would circle around the edge of my bed, crawling and walking, breathing intensifying and snarling. Then I felt its claws grip the fitted sheet on my mattress and pull itself up on my bed. It was still out of my sight, crawling down by my feet, but I could feel the mattress compress under its weight as it circled my feet. The weight felt similar to a medium sized dog, like 40-50lbs compressing the mattress under its claws feet. The raspy breathing was getting even more intense, I thought any minute this thing was going to start chewing my feet and goring me with its claws. It sounded so angry, hateful, or just abused in some way. This entire time I’m trying everything I possibly can to just move something, anything. It was very painful trying to move my limbs but I was so terrified I stopped caring while my eyes furiously searched around the periphery of my vision trying to get a look at this creature. Finally its breathing stopped for a few moments, which was even more horrifying, like it finally noticed I knew it was there or something. Finally it gave a horrible snarl/growl which somehow was enough for me to jump literally out of bed. I shot awake and was on my feet in less than a second. I was covered in sweat and was hyper ventilating. It took me weeks to get start to come to grips that this whole thing was just a “dream”. It was so real it truly felt like a horror movie where a demon starts attacking the helpless person who can do nothing to stop it. Worst experience of my life.
It wasn’t just a dream, but remember how powerful you are and have no fear 🙏♥️✨
Start invoking the name of Jesus Christ and some of the Arch Angels. That seems to get them up and gone. If that offends well sorry not sorry.

Oh my gosh yes I've had a similar experience. As I was 'awake' but unable to move I heard a whooshing noise as something entered the room. Then a very demonic voice laughed and whispered in my ear "Ha! So you really think he died on a cross for you" I immediately started saying in my head (because I couldn't speak out loud) Yes I do! Jesus is in my heart, Jesus is in my heart...then I was slowly able to move and get up. The funny thing is I was never very religious and even had times I doubted God's existence but in that moment my primal instinct was to call on his name for protection. I will never forget it.
The intuitive sense of a woman brings this subject to a whole new level. What a great guest. I've come to the same conclusions about these beings that she has so this was a pretty exciting episode for me. 💖
I live in Berryville Arkansas in Carroll county Arkansas and I could show you where a hot spot is.. several Pension Mt.! I've lived here 40 years & have several stories..many trees upside down and boulders being thrown down hills the size of cars!

Yep. I've not had it for a long time. Every time I had it. All I can remember doing was trying to call out for Jesus. Once I could get that out finally in my thoughts or verbally. The sleep paralysis instantly stopped.
It's been happening to me since I was about 16. It is very scary. It's also called "the hag" where I'm from in the south.
I live in Arkansas and have floated the buffalo several times. One time in 1990 my wife and I I was float it an we saw something run straight up one of the high pluffs. My wife seen it first and said look at that bear running up that bluff, I looked an believe me it was no bear. Way to big an it had long arms . Only lasted for a few seconds. So they can do some amazing things that a bear can’t do. Or human.
Whenever you are on or near the Buffalo River do you or have you ever gotten weird feelings? Like being watched? That's always the feelings I get even when driving through the area not just walking

I love Newton County. I live close to there, I live in Northern Pope. Treat is a spoky place at night. Also Rush. Victor Rd area......those places have orbs....and I have heard the knocks and smelled those off smells. It's such a peaceful land but also can be very scarry. My roots are from Newton Co. Arkansas

I fall in the category of seeing and experiencing "weird" stuff. One of the reasons is that usually those folks can handle it in some way, shape or form - does not mean one is not scared.
Another aspect is the general level of consciousness one is able of when still in the human body. Being in afterlife (I had a NDE) means being in a different state of consciousness and there seems to be a stronger than usual connection to that state and for that reason the veil lifts more easily for us lucky bunnies.
Both sides of my family have experienced the paranormal world. Both my grandmothers were gifted with second sight. Growing up with the strange was just my normal life. I was 6 when I had a near drowning experience. I vividly remember talking to the pretty lady while I was too far down in the water to see light. I was given a choice and I chose to stay with my family. She pushed me up and up and onto solid ground. The water gushed from my mouth painfully. My father had been diving above me for over 5 minutes trying to find me. I believe that I was with the angel for 5 minutes before anyone noticed that I was missing. I never swam in Lake Tenkiller again. Shortly afterwards I began having my own psychic experiences. That was 59 years ago and it has been interesting. It has made me open to other people’s experiences.
We are all here with you Lisa! you are not by yourself in this.

The other end of the state is famous for the Boggy Creek creature.
I've seen a ghost and have experienced the paranormal! Even taking a hike in my back yard (Mt. Hood National park) most of the time I hear wood knocks strange tree noises. So I have to agree that most of us are open to the paranormal when other's are shut off who can't process these strange phenomenon. But eventually they do. We're all made the same.

So this is a little off the subject but I’m from Arkansas and my grandfather told me when he was a kid growing up in the Ozarks that they used to get chased by “the lights” in the woods.
Your interview with Fred made me remember him saying this. Makes me wonder about the UFO/lights/creatures connections.
My grandfather was a minister for 40 years. He was just a simple country preacher with no reasons to lie.
Seen one near Alpina when I lived on the White River.
Was looking up Newton County and it is still very rural to this day!
I have lived and hiked all over the country, and the Ozark forests creeped me out more than any other place. Especially Devil's Den! (lived in Benton County for a year.)

Also I went to school in Bentonville Graduated there so I know about Benton county too. there's Bigfoot in Benton county ! I didn't see him but a good friend of mine who is now deceased sure did. Between Bentonville and Pea Ridge.

@@robertnunneley100 I used to walk around Lake Bella Vista at night, usually around 9-10pm. i knew there was a potential of there being black bear, or maybe even cougar.
The thought that I could have ran into a sasquatch or a dogman is really chilling.
wood knocks are woodpeckers- we hear them all the time here-- or bears moving rocks.
Absolutely different sound than wood peckers. It's not a drilling it's a knock
I know what a woodpecker sounds like. The sound is much louder and more powerful than a bird.

I've got to say I've never had sleep paralysis until I moved to Missouri! I have had it only 2 times in 6 years!! But I have also experienced so many things since I moved here!! I'm a Grandma in my 60s so I've lived a life before any of this happened to me!!!!

Had a handful of Sleep Paralysis type experiences. The pinnacle of which happened on Fryatt Cemetery Rd in Arkansas.
Each sp episode typically had an element of fear.
This time the fear was rationalized by 3 aliens walking into my bedroom.
2 small greys who were face to face with me, and one tall mantis who kinda had to duck down to enter the room.

No,they are private soldiers for rich people that own woodland for example.
My family had two separate encounters about 20years apart on exactly the same spot.
Now im living in the middle of the SE Missouri Ozarks just in the process of moving and settling in. Going to try and find one when I have the time and resources to.

Sitting on Grandpa’s porch when I was 4 it was evening and enjoying watching the firefly’s we heard a howl it was incredibly long, I looked at grandpa and he said oh big man is back, I said who is big man? He just looked at me and said oh he is just a big man that lives up there in the mountains he doesn’t come down here that’s just his way to let us know he is back, I didn’t think anything about it till I heard one on utube and had a dear lord moment as that memory’s on grandpa’s porch hearing that same kind of howling.

@@SASQUATCHTHEORY the funny thing is up there with grandpa every winter break and summers I never saw big man, it was when I was 60 right here in Texas I was walking my kids dogs on a leash here in the country ( small dogs with napoleon attitudes) they were acting strange trying to drag me back to house when a movement caught my eye, across the feilds my neighbors had flood lights on with friends playing corn hole but what caught my eye was what stepped over the fencing I let dogs go to run up on my porch and I just stood there mouth open in shock there walking across field was a big man at least 9-10 ft tall very muscular face although I was just looking at profile he was so human looking, never even looked at me but yeah he knew I was there but he was a male on a mission and walked right past me and through the field I got my phone and called my friend Steve to say put your dogs up as his dogs went crazy so Steve the dumb ass let’s his hunting dogs out following them while on phone with me, his dogs turned and knocked Steve down to get back in house, he asked what did I see and I told him if I told him he would think I was crazy, he came over next day demanding to know what I saw because his hunting dogs never back down from hogs, mountain lions, nothing but they ran scared from what ever it was, he believed me only because of how his dogs reacted. And I wonder why they are down here I thought they were up north and Canada this was in January so maybe they migrate?

I have spent days upon days in the Buffalo River. Whether it be on the river or on the trails. Newton County is rough country. Super easy to get lost, everything looks the same. I have yet to see anything Bigfoot related. I have seen a lot of strange things in the sky though. The biggest hot spot in Arkansas is SW area combined with SE Oklahoma.

Regarding the first story, she said she moved to Newton County Arkansas. Newton County has been known as booger County for as long as I can remember. I live in Carroll County only 2 counties away from Newton. I would believe any stories coming out of that County.

We just left the Ozark Mountains near Tyler Bend and St Joe, Arkansas. We were close to where this encounter occurred. The Richland Creek area is another possibility. What is the name of the cemetery in Newton County that is close to where this encounter happened?

I have a question - in your home area, do you set out trail cameras by gifting and other areas? What items do you place in the gifting area if you still have one?
I will feed them from time to time and leave items. Gifting sounds like pagen form of offerings. I just call it feeding. I leave peanut butter or chocolate. I will leave smooth stones and feathers. It only works if they are around and active.

OK- thank you for getting back to me on that - I was thinking of attempting to leave food as I have a few ideas that, if successful, may bring more attention to the Sasquatvh subject. Of course my ideas will only work if a trail cam can be used to successfully take a picture of them and if they like the food I leave out - and, of course, assuming there are Sasquatch currently in the area as reported in the past....
