My ex girlfriend was Gros Ventre Native American. She has native family in Washington who claimed to hide the presence of Sasquatch on their reservation. They claimed that the Sasquatch sometimes abducted young native girls, and that if you ever look one in the eyes, that you would die from fright. I believe that if their food supplies run short, that Sasquatch will surely eat humans.

The Highway of Tears refers to a 724 km length of Yellowhead Highway 16 in northern British Columbia where many women (indigenous) have gone missing while hitchhiking or walking. This is a very secluded stretch of forested highway and when I heard about the circumstances I wondered about predatory Sasquatches there. Most theories are that a serial murderer truck-driver type man has been the perp. Not one mention of Sasquatches. I feel there is a great disservice to the public in keeping people in the dark about Sasquatches.

His story was beyond belief, but he was stone cold sober and serious... he said that they'd had a Sasquatch Clan "problem" on a private ranch outside Pagosa...and that a Canadian "hit" team was brought in to handle it. There were sasquatch bodies, and all kinds of photo and video evidence...and they KNEW it would be suppressed. So, they agreed to hand it all over to the Smithsonian... which of course, turned out to be a mistake. ALL evidence disappeared and all contact persons just vanished...

As a veteran criminal investigator, either the author of this story is an award winning author, or he is accurately describing a real life encounter with tremendous detail. My only concern is he states he was 2+ hrs into his track when he encountered the aggressive clan, why didn't
they ambush him and his dog? These creatures are familiar with rifles and they know they are harmful weapons so that could be one reason. Besides that, amazing account of events. American Sasquatch behavior seems to be very different as they seem to avoid human contact for the most part. I have very few memories from when I was 6-7 yrs old, but this one stands out to me.
I lived in NorthWest Florida, on a dirt road surrounded by woods. This memory is from around 1998. My grandma lived down the road from me, and my cousin was visiting that weekend, so we would stay with g-ma. The trailer to the left of hers (facing it from the road) had a huge hedge as his privacy fence, and on the end of that hedge, by the road, was a spruce tree that was close to 12ft tall. A few feet taller than the hedge. I just remember my cousin and I pretending we had guns shooting the bad guys. At some point, we were down the road a ways. Idk...maybe 100ft from g-ma's. My cousin went up ahead but I was always overly cautious so I didn't want to go too far without telling g-ma. I turned around to see how far we were. G-ma's trailer was on the right. But that moment, I wasn't looking at her house. I noticed a huge furry face, dark brown peeking out around that spruce tree. I stopped, stared at it for a few seconds, and then fear kicked in. I sprinted away, towards my cousin amd told her something like "come look! There's something behind that tree! It's huge and furry!" She didn't believe me. We headed towards g-ma's again to get a closer look. No longer directly alone, my fear was mostly masked by curiosity. I heard a scream one night, it was coming from the Big Muddy River just outside of Herrin Illinois. I lived in the Royal Oaks trailer park in Herrin where they built the new school. The big muddy river is about one-third to one-half a mile behind the trailer park. You don't dare walk out there at night time!
I kept hearing what sounded exactly like a woman screaming. It sounded like she was being violated. I thought to myself I'm going to have to walk out there and save this woman. I grabbed my baseball bat and started to walk. I listen to this creature Scream 2 more times. It's definitely not a cat, it's definitely not a fox, it sounded exactly like a woman only the tone never changed. It was the exact tone and type of scream repeated over and over. I got a bad feeling and walked back to my trailer. I'd listen to this creature scream for about 15 minutes before it left. It was one of the creepiest screams I've ever heard in my life of 51 years!

Wow! I heard the same scream one night around 12:30am that was so loud I heard it in my house with the windows closed and had head phones on listening to music. When I went out side to see what it was I realized I heard what I can only describe as a woman being strangled or raped but it was coming from 200 yards away back in a swamp where there are no trails or way to get back in there. I've traveled around the world and heard most large animal screams, calls whatever but never heard anything like that before. All I can say, the hair went up on the back of my neck and I went back inside. It kept it up for 15 minutes then went silent. I've never heard anything like it ever again and I'm 65 years old now. One person tried to say I heard a Bob Cat but I told him heard Bob cat many times and this was way out of the Bob Cat range for volume and pitch LOW and Deep. But like a woman. Strange but then I heard others saw they heard the same thing.

While attending a homicide investigator's conference a few years ago I met a detective who was a supervisor on the multiagency major crimes team in KCMO. He described their busy seasons (summertime and midwinter cabin fever time) as a nightly bloodbath. I was a major crimes detective at the time but nowhere close to Kansas City. While I wasn't too surprised to hear about their busy workload, when he told me the department regularly recruit certified (licensed/commissioned) officers for lateral hiring, there was also some rather surprising info he shared with me.
I was startled to hear that,, despite there being such a tremendous amount of crime and not enough officers to minimize use of overtime budgets, they paid almost half of a west coast officer's pay.
I'm no economist, nor public accountant etc. so I don't have the benefit of knowing why compensation packages vary so much. In any case, it doesn't seem right to put people out there at night in very high risk communities without a reasonable and competitive pay and benefit package.
PS. I really enjoyed watching the video of the hunt for small treasures in the creek. Age and past injuries robbed me of those fun times.

She never said what happened to her while she was with the sasquatch and she figured she blocked it out of her conscious mind. Then I listened to this story right after! Very, very unnerving, and very feasible. We have so many missing people out there in our wilderness and they are never found. He’s definitely traumatized. We had already walked in a long way when it happened. Weapons were unloaded. It shook him so bad he lost his color, got nauseous, was shaking and very much terrified. Him seeing me confused and visibly shaken, I think made it worse. We both had shotguns but neither were loaded. In trying to teach him well about good hunter etiquette, loading was always done after setting up. I think now, that is a mistake. I’ll write our encounter and see if Cam will read it. It’s good to be able to talk about it. We called Conservation but they practically hung up on me. I understand why but at the same time, I wasn’t hyping anything up. I was merely concerned for others out there. This spot is also a hiking hot spot and I can’t imagine what this could do. And I went up a day later and gifted them fruit, fish , tobacco and marijuana

Sadly my gut feeling says this is all true. It actually fills in alot of the missing puzzle pieces I've had regarding this topic. If you follow David Paulides' work & Steve Isdahl among others, it makes perfect sense & ties up many loose ends to the mystery as a whole. Although I don't think all Sasquatch are doing this, i definitely think it's going on alot more than we realize. Of course Sasquatch isn't a friendly forest being frolicking with the bunnies. Can u imagine what it would take to survive in the wilderness as they do? Savage is an understatement! They need no fire, they have to be stealthy, cunning & violent enough to stalk, catch & kill elk, bear etc... they use only sticks, trees, rocks or their bare hands as weapons that they have mastered to an unbelievable level of skill. They need no light & make no noise. For a being to be at the skill level they are & live in the environment they do...Savage skillful killers is EXACTLY what it would take to survive & is EXACTLY what these things are. Anyone not able to see the obvious & refuse to accept is incredibly ignorant. I understand why the government hasn't divulged this. It seems they are doing what they can to terminate the colonies but like the man said, they're extremely hard to track. What an unbelievable nightmare. Can u imagine what it would be like to get assaulted by one of these beings & then become pregnant? I wonder what these colonies of humans, mostly children, are for. Yes, they eat some but it's obviously more than that.

Yep, I think it could be possible. My friend's Chihuahua was "bred" (e.g. violated) by a Pitbull.
Consider why the male Sasquatch was stalking a family with three children. Was it just the children he wanted? Or were they proof that the female could breed and most likely passed three bowling ball heads through her V, and could handle the male parts of the Sasquatch? I don't think a male Sasquatch was after male children, he was after breeding females, and future females.

The last story senty shivers down my spine. I live in south west british columbia, have followed this subject, had experiences and listened to many local stories. this story hits on so many aspects that i have heard of before, and i have heard two others stories of special rcmp squads showing up at location of people who have disappeared, probably not far from this location. also local first nations tradition is interesting here as I have heard of 3 seperate sasquatch tribes in the area, one peaceful that used to leave and interact with humans and two not peaceful, known to kidnap people and practice canabalism. that area would exactly be an area that would have been one of the scary tribes. I am going to do some more research into this story to try to confirm some of it as if there are aspects that can be confirmed from another source this could be a very important story. it touches on so many things. finally if it was made up, this would have had to have been done by someone with really really good knowledge of events in BC. Edit: I do think that these Sasquatch are renegade's. They are not all like this. They get thrown out of their group's for bad behavior.
