I cried happy tears when I found your hair videos! I've never met another person with my hair type in real life, but from reading all the lovely comments on your videos, clearly there are many fluffy-heads out there! I see you!
My hair is currently mid-back length and it's a giant triangle lol. I need me some good layers, but stylists either use thinning shears which create funky pointed jagged ends (not cute), or they cut chunky long layers that look like "steps" at the back of my head (also not cute). I'm having such a hard time finding inspo photos online of long haircuts for our hair type!
You can try long layers, I cut them myself at home and it's not that hard just look up cutting long layers on yt and just follow the tutorial
I’ve went through your styling videos and I’m happy you finally did this method. I knew your hair was curly as soon as I saw it poofy.
💕💕
ive never found anyone who has the same hair type as I do. I've always searched and searched and then I found your video. Thank you, super helpful!
I'm so glad you can relate !! I had never known anyone with hair like mine until I made videos about it, it's wild !
My hair looks exactly like yours or even worse - giant fluff ball!
we are fluffy !!!
Same😂😭
Same for me, nothing worked. On curly girl method but I don’t see much improvements. I am going to give these products a try.
@@rajithagirijadevi5050 i hope you find something that works for you 💕
@@rajithagirijadevi5050 did you give up? I am quitting today.
I stay in the shower so long the water goes cold, spend hours styling, & look like a homeless woman who hasn’t brushed hair in years! I started CGM wanting to be able to wash & go. Haha! Straightening is wayyyyyy quicker!
Ohh just love how naturally you explained!
My hair is exactly the same. Such a ball of fluff! Thank you for being real!
My hair is a bit curler, but texture wise and frizz wise ours seems quite similar. Big and flooofy! Wish I had the patience to do curly hair care... I tend to wash it, go to bed, and put it up every morning 😂
You're hair will continue to get curlier the more you do this and the healthier it gets. You did have heat damage from flat ironing it, so it will get better! Keep it up, looks way better! Frizz is a curl waiting to happen!!! I have a feeling your hair is super curly, it's just been damaged from heat and color. Those multi textures will change into all curls! Keep us updated!
I just need to say it. I watched this a little over a year ago and it changed everything. You reconciled me with my hair. Thank you! 😢😊
this makes me so happy 🥺💜
I didn't even know what a curly method was! You are beautiful and this is genius! Thank you for being real 💕
You are so kind 💕 thank you for the love I hope I could help a bit 😊
We have the same hair texture :) I love how you said it never comes out the same way - YES and it can be frustrating lol
I do that 2 now! We also went through the same process of finding a easy manageable way to do everyday.
Your last video, the one you're referring to, it really helped me and daughter out. I have three beautiful mixed girls and I have tried so many different methods of styling their hair without heat. They're a little young, so I just try to stay away from the irons until they get older.... anywho, it was really helpful, and I wanna day thank you for sharing it with us 🙂 ty!!
oh my goodness this just warms my heart, I am so glad that I could help you and your little ones out !! A no heat method that I am currently obsessed with and is an overnight method is called sock curls (apparently my mother actually used a similar method on me when i was little!) I actually made a video about it and it's my favorite right now, it might work well for your little ones too
I love how you keep it real !
Thank you lovely ! 💜
Yeah when you took down your hair, pretty much my hair but jet black! That’s why I put some color in there. So excited for this journey!
Ahh I am so surprised to see so many other people with hair like mine 💕 thank you for your support it means everything to me !
Hardest part for me was to stop running my fingers through my hair. I didn’t realize I was undoing the waves and curls I love so much. Thank you for doing these videos about dealing with thick coarse hair. I have always kept my hair short because I didn’t think I control it if long. Now I know better. Thanks!
Your hair is beautiful, especially at the end! Very bohemian-ish, love the look 👍
Thank you so much ! ☺️💜
Girl, I finally feel like I have found someone with a hair type like my own!! I have stopped using heat for almost a year and it still sticks straight up when I run my hands through it 😭
You are not alone love !! (I know it feels like that a lot of the time) I recommend GOOD hydration/conditioners and protein 💜
ahhhh i loved your end result. i’m going to try these products. i use to use la looks gel back in the day and loved it. i can still remember the smell even though i haven’t used it since i was like 14 lol.
thank you!!❤️❤️
Of course love I hope it works well for you !!!
Loved the video and your hair is super gorgeous and long! My hair used to be like this and I would style a similar way when I first started my curly hair journey. I found that brushing with a leave-in right before applying gel and scrunching (while it is still soaking wet) is the best way to get curl/wave definition for me. Best of luck to you on your journey!
Which leave in conditioner and gel do you like? I use a mousse but find it gets dry at day three. Thinking of adding a leavin in conditioner then mousse or gel.
omg your waves are so pretty!! i commented on your last video and around that time i found out about the curly girl method too. i don’t follow it exactly but i do take the scrunching and plopping and styling methods from it. im still experimenting with it to see what works for my hair
Thank you so much love 🥰💕 !! I'm in the same boat at this point, still learning and trying to figure out what works best for my hair 😊
I have similar texture but a lot more hair and curly coarse frizz on top. I wish this method worked for me but I still end up with TONS of volume :( your hair looks beautiful though!
i love volume !!
🙂This method really works for your hair!!!
I have this hair type! Been working on reducing frizz. I recommend drying your hair with a microfibre towel, using satin pillow cases, and using jojoba oil when it’s wet! Helps reduce so much frizz overtime! (You look gorgeous btw, great video)
thank you so so much !! I am trying new things all the time, I actually just purchased some microfiber towels I can't wait to try them out.
Your hair texture looks very similar to to mine which is rare. I think I might have a tad bit more hair bc you can’t really see my scalp ever too many hair follicles lol. But it was nice to see a fellow thick haired girl do this!
Love that there’s finally someone with the same hair type as me. I suggest Color Wow one minute stying cream. I couldn’t curl my hair without the need of harsh gels with alcohol, but this cream was a game changer
Thank you !
Thank you so much for this video! I have really coarse, thick, and frizzy hair. Air drying has never worked for me because it always dries too big. I will definitely try these products out and hopefully it will help!
You are so welcome !! 💕🌿 I hope it works out well for you, let me know what you think ☺️
Yes! Same hair type! Thick, naturally frizzy. Has a mind of it’s own! I use Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner. Finger comb in the shower. TIP: use a microfiber hair towel to dry hair!! Ouai leave-in conditioner (or the It’s A 10 Miracle Silk), Paul Mitchell super skinny serum (1 pump), and the Redken Frizz Dismiss leave-in cream (nickel-sized amount). Wet Brush only on wet hair to comb through and distribute product. I only air-dry my hair. When it’s about 90% dry I will use a wide-toothed comb and add some hair oil on the bottom third. And I also wash once a week. Maybe twice if my roots are really greasy.
Ahh thank you so so much for all of these tips !! I need to try them I've been looking for some new things to test out, I appreciate it so much 💜
My hair is a hot mess so I’m definitely going to try this. Your hair looks so beautiful!
Thank you so much love ! 🥰💕 I hope it works well for you !
thank you so much for this!!! 💗i have really fluffy, thick, coarse and curly hair, i got the curl talk conditioner and am very excited to see how it works on taming my hair!
Yay !! ☺️ You are so welcome I hope it works as well for you as it does for me 💕
We have exactly the same hair! 😂 I never know what to do with it, thank you for the tutorial!
you are so welcome !
My hair is like this except I also have hair loss and you can see bald spots on my crown😒. This was very helpful. Your hair looks beautiful
Looks great! 💜
Thank you so much💕💕
I have your hair type!! Game changer... I stopped dying it! Hair dye is the devil for coarse hair.
For some reason my hair always feels so much smoother and manageable when it's dyed :( tried the natural route many times now lol
@@floslunahave you tried having a Demi permanent glaze on? Mine feels better with something from shades eq on it. But it’s not as damaging as actual coloring (deposit only, so it just coats the strands and makes it silky smooth)
I like your hair girl keep do it this way!❤❤
Thank you so much 🥰💕
I feel ya girl! I have the exact same hair issues
You're not alone ! It's so surprising to me to see how many people identify with having similar hair 💕
Ok, yours is the first time I'm seeing hair that actually looks pretty similar to mine. I'm going to have to try this out! My hair gets super frizzy/wavy even when I'm trying to do anything with it and I recently got the curly shampoo/conditioner by Cake to try. Not sure if it's even doing much, but I'm excited to try this lol.
I'm excited for you !! I hope it works well 😊💕
Girl, this was so so needed. I have bum length thick and wavy hair like you and I am so glad to see your video . Love from india 🇮🇳
You are so sweet thank you for the kind words and love I appreciate you !! 💕🌿
We have the same type of hair. Before, I used to rebond my hair at a salon (like a permanent hair straightening) because I don't have the time to style it every morning and I'm lazy. But when my natural hair started to grow, it doesn't look good (wavy top and straight hair at the bottom). 😑 I really want to tame it BUT the humidity here in the Philippines was very high. (And when it's not humid, it's raining). Ironing and blow drying just last a few hours. 🙃 Sucks to be in a pony tail all day. 😂
Ugh! Love the curl! Some curls might not curl from heat styling. Deep conditioning might fix it. A strong hold curl definer would help also
I use the same shampoo. I apply a few drops of olive oil mixed with rosemary oil to tame my frizzy hair. It becomes really smooth.
that sounds lovely :) I will definitely try that out !
Wtf this was so helpful. I literally have the same hair 😭❤️
Omg I am so glad I could help you !! 🥺💕🌿 I've struggled with understanding my hair my whole life !
I can’t wait to try this!! Can you make a list of the products you used?
I love your hair color!
Thank you ! 💕
Okay but your hair looked good when it was frizzy! I look like flippin hagrid, way way worse hahaha
MEEEE😂😂🥲 i honestly donno what to do with it...
So few videos for hair address thick course hair
I agree, that's why I decided to start making some videos about my hair texture. Because personally I found it really difficult to find videos about hair that was similar to mine.
I went to Sephora to ask for recommendations for my thick coarse hair and like three different employees looked at my hair with question marks for eyes. 😅
One finally suggested something with moisture just to be rid of me. 💀
Thank you for the inspo! l am a fuzzball too 😄
Hehe fluffballs for life 💜 nothing wrong with it ! ☺️
oh my gosh its my hair! I never thought I'd find someone with hair so similar to me. I will say I probably have just a teeny bit less poof with brushing, but its still horrendous. I also struggle with finding a good haircut both for my face and for the frizz and thickness.... still always getting, not a total triangle, more of a reverse triangle, thick at the shoulders (depending on my length) but then it tapers back in towards my neck because of any layering. So I've always felt like I can't win, no layers-> triangle, with layers-> weird diamond/inverted triangle..... ughhh! Also finding a haircut that makes my ponytail look good? Maybe that's just a me issue, but my god, i can't stand my hair in a pony tail, its just poof, or lopsided layers, I want cascades, a waterfall of a ponytail! Any tips you've found with haircuts?
I REALLY wish I could give you some advice on good haircuts but honestly I am not the right person to ask. I haven't had a proper haircut in many years and that's because every time I go to the salon they don't know what to do with my hair and I come back looking waaaay worse than before haha.
Although, I have watched a few videos on how to get rid of "triangle" hair which I find happens to me often as my hair grows. Here is one I recommend 💜czcams.com/video/tA7z6uX15ng/video.html
@@flosluna Yep the struggle is too real, but thank you for the video! She actually talked about the layers a bit more than other people which was helpful
Noooo not the layers 😭😭😭 My hair’s similar! I always had a bob and one hairdresser tried to “fix” my triangle hair, even though I specifically asked for no layers she just went for it. The layers gave me the diamond effect you described but because my hair was short it was just… round. It made my head look like a soccer ball and I was teased mercilessly 😂
Just stumbled across your vids and wanted to mention that I have a similar hair texture and curl pattern to you and using oleplex 3 and a protein treatment helped me a lot with my wave pattern after lightening my hair. Taylor Laios actually recently made a video on this but I’ve been doing this after coloring for a while now:)
Thank you love ! I actually made a video fairly recently about a protein treatment I tried out and I really liked it ☺️ Ive used olaplex 1 & 2 but never 3, I'll definitely look into it !
Hannah, you are such a pretty girl. I love watching your videos. Smart too and you have a lovely personality. Your voluminous hair just adds to everything. 😍
Thank you! My hair is so similar to yours. I’ve been watching a lott of curly/wavy girl videos the last few weeks and experimenting to see what works for me. Only thing is I’ve been getting halo frizz all over and on the crown of my head for a long while now so need to figure that part out.
You are so welcome ❤️❤️ !! I hope you find something that works well for you ☺️ I know it's a struggle to figure out what exactly your hair needs when there is so much info and products out there. Maybe the top layer of your hair needs more moisture/less heat ?
@@flosluna I'm definitely trying to find more moisturizing products. I think I also just have breakage around my hair line from maybe wearing my hair up too tight the last year or so.
My hair is exactly like that, when ever I wash my hair I use a wide tooth comb after my shower with some leave in conditioner but and let it air dry but after a day it becomes a disaster
Kitty 😺 looks like mine ♥ I sent this video to my daughter, I even have to try this
How do you keep the curl pattern when brushing? Whenever I brush my hair it gets poofy and straight. Yet if I don't brush they it tangles up
I cannot brush my hair when it's styled this way otherwise it separates and becomes a giant fluffball. I only brush right before I shower :) I've heard that using a wide tooth comb could help !
Looks amazing
Thank you !!! 💕💕 I'm so glad to have found something that works well for my hair ☺️
I'm so glad you did a video on this. One of your other videos was actually the video that kickstarted my curly girl journey. My hair looks exactly like yours and I'm trying to let it go a bit more natural and stop using as much heat too. Its fun to see this updated video of your gorgeous waves!! You're an inspiration!!
You are so kind ! Thank you so much 💕 it means everything to hear that other people are going through the same process and growing in their journey 🌿 i love my waves and I can't wait to see how they change over time 🥰☺️ I'm sure yours are absolutely beautiful !
Guys, try an at-home no formaldehyde keratin treatment, it will change your life! It will take a bit of time and effort but it’s so worth it. I used to struggle with frizzy hair so I know how it feels. Also if your hair is thick and you’re using heat, try titanium plate flat irons and curlers, they really work!
Thank you so much ! 💜
I did an in salon keratin treatment and it did nothing for my hair. Obviously it looked great after but not distinguishably better than after any good blowdrying. After first shampoo hair again looked puffy/frizzy. This was during hot humid summer. Some winter days it looks amazing just air dried(like 3 days a year). My hair gets tangled very easily (like it is always tangled if air dried) so I thought keratin would help but no. But I have never had any breakage or noticeable split ends.
This looks sooooo good on you! A tip for the after-gell frizz: use an anti frizz serum on the dry hair. Like "abracadabra oil" at Target or John Freida frizz ease serum!
Thank you so much 💕 I will absolutely look into those !
I have the same hair and girl, the struggle is real. 😄
It is SO REAL 😂💜
So you’re not scrunching hair rt? Just bringing it up to scalp??
We in the same boat being Hawaiian and pourtugess I have frizzy wavy hair. I use Maui hair mask moisture
I'll check it out ! Thank you 💜💜💜
So I have the exact same hair PLUS hypothyroid, menopause and hard water. I don't have layers like you do because it would grow to enormous proportions if I did. Curious to know if you previously had one length hair, and if so, which do you prefer?
My hair kind of grow in different lengths if that makes sense? I find that layers help me to not have enormous hair though haha. I have had it one length and it looks kind of...like a triangle lol
Yeah I totally get the triangle.
Is that links shield in the back ground
Omg this is my EXACT HAIR TYPE!!! Every time I brush it it’s so fluffy and yuck and I can’t brush it everyday because of the fluff😂😭 I’m definitely going to be doing this
You have curly hair don't brush it only brush it when it's wet and with product on
You shouldn’t brush your hair texture dry. Only when it’s wet and it has hair product in it you can use a wide tooth comb. After it’s dry and you’re not heat styling you shouldn’t brush it anymore. You can only brush a little bit with boar bristle brush after your roots are a little greasy if your hair is wavy. I don’t think you should use a brush at all if your hair is curly. Hope it helps.
Thank you, I’ll try that.
Hi Hanna, your hair is just like mine, I'm excited to try this :)
I'm excited for you ! I hope it works well 😊💕
@@flosluna I just did it, definitely like the results. Not as tame and defined as yours but noticeably softer and less frizzy :)
I have thick A hair and it’s coarse. Same triangle head in my younger years. I notice you use products that have protein in it. I used the same exact products and my hair after a while for protein overload. Have you come across that issue yet?
honestly, I had no idea that any of these products had protein in them ! I've been looking for a protein treatment actually because I feel like my curls sometimes are getting over moisturized and need more protein to even out the balance. But, I'm still totally new to this so I need to do some more research myself !
I will try this for my natural coarse wavy gray hair, thanks for the tips! I wonder if you have “uncombable hair syndrome?” The hair literally grows out of the follicle differently and is harder to style. I recently saw this on a hair show on tv, & I had not heard of it.
So I have hair like this too. As a child, people made fun of me for this hair and I had to get over my insecurities as I got older. I really think your hair looks beautiful in its natural state. It's full, frames your face nicely, so what's the problem? Why is this type of hair looked down on? It's really only in the US that people do this. I wear my hair most of the time in its natural state. I put it in a ponytail when it gets too hot. Why don't you like your hair how it is naturally? People with straight hair don't get berated this way, why should frizzy haired girls like us have to change our natural being? I have traveled to the Middle East and Europe and people there are so much more accepting of varied hair textures.
Try the Eco Gel the green one! I love it!
Ooooooh !! I'm definitely going to !
I have frizzy hair just like this but I have no clue if it’s damaged or curls/waves that I don’t know are there
That's how I felt for so long ! I would recommend just trying and seeing how your hair reacts 💕
I have your same hair texture. What about next day. Does it stay the same way. Or again we need to repeat the process.
Some curly haired girls don't need to repeat the process in the morning but some do because curls get all tangled and loose so you need to wet the hair in the morning and scrunch it again. But you can sleep in sleep protecting hair styles or wear a bonnet to bed and that will hekp
I have hair SO similar to yours!!! One question?? What's your thoughts on bangs?! Like not baby bangs!
I love bangs ! I've seen girls with curly bangs and I'm like giiiiirl they look so cute but idk if I could pull them off 😳💜
Do you wash your hair daily? And if you don't, does the gel last for a couple days?
I don't ! I wash my hair 1-2x a week depending on how it's looking/feeling. My waves/curls do stay for as long as I keep up with them :) I'll be making a video soon about how to actually !
This is a great video I’m a man and I like to have medium length hair but I cut it all and got a buzz cut instead because of how crazy my hair goes that being said I really like the video and I was wondering why did you use leave in conditioner and defining cream because they are basically the same thing also what is the use of the gel and how it does help your hair ?
The conditioner is for moisturizing your hair more so than the defining cream which helps to promote your natural curls after you are done cleansing/conditioning. Gel creates a "cast" over your curls to lock in moisture and hold the shape as well as reduce frizz which you then can scrunch out once the hair has dried. Happy to help !
@@flosluna Great thanks for the explanation. Also I would suggest you to replace the gel with shea butter it’s cheaper, natural and will last on the shelf for 3 to 7 months or more !!. Shea butter can Seal in moisture to the hair, Moisturize and soften hair, Protect hair against heat damage, Soothe dry and itchy scalp, Protect hair and scalp against UVS Prevent hair loss and promote hair growth. Theses are facts you can look it up, Shea butter is literally better a thousand time than a gel you hair will love it.
Hi! What kind of cream and gel did you use? Thanks! I’ll try to look for a similar product here in the Philippines :) thanks!
Hi there ! The cream I used is called not your mother's curl talk defining cream. The gel is LA looks extreme sport ☺️ I hope that's helpful for you.
@@flosluna Hi. Thank you so much! What’s the alternative for defining cream? Can I use hair serum instead?
I have the same natural hair texture as you so I want to try this. Only question I have is how do you keep it for multiple days without washing? How do you sleep with it? My hair gets so tangly so fast, I keep a hairbrush on me at all times because it’s so knotty. So if I try this and sleep on it because I don’t wash my hair every day I know it will be a knotty mess... any tips?
I don't brush my hair when I style is like this :) I would say that you probably need a lot of moisture to fend away the tangles. I only brush in the shower when my hair is conditioned (to help with any tangles). My waves/curls definitely change every day after wash day because of the environment, at this point i sleep with my hair up on top of my hair with a scrunchie very loosely holding it so that I don't flatten it out by sleeping on it and it works well for me ! I am definitely still in the process of learning how to keep up with my hair so that I don't lose all my curls over the days after washing so I'll let you know if I find out any better ways :)
How does it look after you sleep on it/how long does it last?
I find the next day mine goes back to a mess. Have you ever tried wrapping your hair in a t shirt at night? Wondering if that would protect the curls. Cxx
I always wrap my hair in a t-shirt. It's less frizzy in the morning because of it.
How do you deal with it the next day? With gel in it? Do you brush it?
Nope ! When I style my hair this way I do not brush it until I'm ready to wash it again. The gel creates something of a "cast" initially and then when you scrunch it out the gel actually seems to dissapate. So you don't feel or see the gel anymore. The way that I upkeep my waves/curls is by spraying any areas with a bit of water and reworking the curls back to the way they were after wash day. There are also sprays/serums you can buy to help the process :)
I’m mix race and my Caribbean side has literally the thickest hair ever! It’s frizzy when I don’t mask it and it’s so heavy I can’t even have it in a pony because it pulled my scalp down ffs. Literally 1/4 of my hair is my mates while hair and she wants thick hair I’m like trust me bitch it’s not all sunshine and rainbows 🌈
😂 💀
My hair is the same as yours but do you know what type of hair porosity you have?
Medium/Normal :)
It works just great, your hair looks so pretty! 😍💃
I want to share my recently discovered
Heatless straight styling for frizzy hair - I really struggled with my hair my whole life before I found this 'hack' or 'method' by experimenting a whole lot.
💖💕
So, here's the full routine steps list:
✏️
1. Making a thick oil mask for 1 to 8 hours, preferably a coconut oil mask, but any oil will do. I tried different ones, they worked for me, keep experimenting if you want perfect results.
✏️
2. Washing hair with a preferably alcohol-free shampoo.
✏️
3. Brushing (yes, that's one of the essential steps for me) hair when ~50% dry to create straightness, so to speak.
✏️
4. The most important step!
Parting hair into 2 sections as if you were going to make two braids on the sides, don't braid if you still want straight hairstyle. The hair should be at least 80% dry by now.
Brushing hair so that it would be straight on the sides and making very loose ponytails.
As time goes by it's crucial to slide the elastics downwards for about 1 inch every 5 minutes or so. This is what's gonna make the hair straight. Every time your elastics reach the tips of your hair you take them off and put them on into the initial ponytail positions and continue sliding them down every 5 minutes for an inch - do it until your hair is totally dry.
✏️
5. Final step is putting a drop of argan oil onto the ends of your hair. It's will make your hair even more straight and shiny!
💞
I hope this method will work for you as well if you are interested to try it, because at times when I want to get my frizzy hair straight I don't even have to use a hair dryer. 😊
Thank you for uploading these types of video, I really like the way your narration goes and it's quite pleasant to listen to your voice. 🙂🎶💞💕
Let all days be good hair days! 💖💖💖
Oh my gosh !! This is such an innovative process 💕 how cool ! I am definitely going to see how this works on my hair, at this point the only way to get my hair straight is using a blow-dryer brush or a straightening iron and I would love to see how it turns out with no heat. How cool ! Thank you so much for sharing I love this 💕😊
this sounds so interesting! i’ll let you know the results later on!
Very helpful
no heat is always good idea i havent ussed heat on my hair for a long time and my hair is still dry hahaa your curls are nice
Thank you love ! You have BEAUTIFUL hair 💕💕
How do you know if you have curly hair? Should i just try one of these products? Any recommendations?
Hi Gloria ! I knew I had curly/wavy hair because my hair does not dry straight, it drys very frizzy/fluffy/poofy if I do not style it. I definitely recommend trying a deep conditioning treatment and a leave in conditioner and then either a mousse or gel to help your curls come to life !
Thank you! I got the cantu curl activator and just trying to find a good mousse or gel hold wise!
My hair is Juuuuuuust like this
How does it look after you sleep on it? My waves get completely ruined while i sleep.
Spray bottle with water in the morning and a little product is an easy refresh ! 💜
@@flosluna Thanks for the reply!
Hi girl! I am working on creating a tool to allow women to scrunch their hair with less effort. I have a few questions to guide the development of the product
1. I was wondering what your big pain points are when it comes to scrunching hair?
2. On average, how long do you scrunch your hair?
3. Why do you scrunch your hair - how does it benefit your hair?
4. What would you expect from a hair scrunch tool (besides the basic functionality)? You can speak to design, functions, ergonomics etc.
Would love to hear everyones feedback!
that's awesome ! I look forward to seeing your product in use :)
1. the time it takes and potentially causing frizz
2. however long it takes my hair to dry which is usually around 2 hours (not constantly scrunching)
3. promotes my natural waves/curls !
4. something comfortable that helps with frizz, no heat, soft
I’m a guy who is growing out his hair,my hair is frizzy and curly, what products did you use do tame it?
I would recommend after washing and conditioning your hair to use a leave-in conditioner, and then after that maybe apply a bit of Moroccan oil or jojoba oil on the ends :))
@@maddycole ok thank so much
@@maddycole what’s better argan oil or castor oil?
I use the not your mother's curl talk line in this video to style my hair ! Typically nowadays I don't even use a gel. I just use a leave in conditioner/creme and I just let my natural waves do their thing. My number one recommendation is don't brush your hair unless you're detangling it to wash it :)
I recommend you doing heatless curls using a rope. Do it on damp hair when you have a coarse hair before going to bed. Its better than doing cgm especially with your hair type (course hair) like me😁you could search those tutorials
Thank you for the advice ! Is this similar to what they do with the robe ties ? Because I am so interested in trying it the curls always look so beautiful ! 💕
@@flosluna Yes, it is similar to the robe ties (that was i supposed to mean😆) There many heatless ways to curl your hair. It also last long and dont even damage your hair. With my course hair, cgm just dont give the desired result i want.
Problem is with rope curls my hair is too damn long and thick I think I might need to ropes for mine
My hairr is thiick. Iam confused if my hair is straight or curly because some of my hair strands are curly. But overall look is straight. It just looks dryy and frizzy and when I touch it, it's soo roughh.
Your hair is probably curly/wavy but it's probably damaged because you treat it like it's straight. Stop brushing it dry and look up some curly hair routine videos to help you treat your hair better and after you treat it like that your curls will be more defined and healthy
Omg….. that is EXACTLY my hair type and I can NEVER find videos to help me 🥺😂 so I end up following a lot of curly girl method stuff but in reality…I can’t tell if my hair is curly, wavy, or straight (it’s a little of all actually) but in the same breath it could just be super damaged from flat ironing bc I don’t know how else to style my hair… tho, I am starting a natural hair journey to finally see what kind of hair I actually have! Good luck to you too!
Thank you fir sharing my hair is a lot like yours probably worse lol
My hair is so heavy when I haven't heat styled it, it's uncomfortable to wear it down and hurts to have it up in a ponytail.
Dudee same whenever I put up my hair in ponytail my neck hurts so much cause my. Head feels weight down
i have very thick, coarse, long hair that's also heavy up, i have found that if i have two ponytails, one under the other (top half of hair and bottom half of hair) then it doesn't feel as heavy
Can you list your steps in the box please! It'll make it sooo much easier for my slow self😭😥
I'm a boy and I have the same type of hair like yours, super thick wavy and super frizzy and rough 😂
You are not alone friend 😊
@@flosluna yeahh 😁
Can you style your hair using a curl activator cream and show me how it turns? 🤝
I have a video here of me only using a curl cream ! I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but let me know ☺️💜 czcams.com/video/aJh8WtTaLl8/video.html

Your hair is naturally wavy/curly!! I could tell when i saw how frizzy your hair was lol, typically, frizzy hair is a sign of natural waves/curls. This method only works when you have natural waves/curls. If you have straight hair this doesn’t work. I love to see you embracing your natural hair
thank you so much
my hair is actually thicker than yours but not curly at all... is that weird? i couldn't scrunch it to save my life. yours turned out cute though!
I don't think that's weird at all ! I know people who have thick straight hair, I think a really big indicator of wavy/curly hair is frizz when brushing. That's how I can usually tell that someone has textured hair.
I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO 😭
Edit:: i know now 😍
Oh no 😭😭 what's wrong ? Did this method not work well for you ?
@@flosluna I dont know, nothing works for my hair thats why I hate my hair so much 😭😭
you figured it out !?! I'm curious to know what's working for you !
@@flosluna Well, since im only 11 it might work better for me, but all I do is:
Wash my hair, put oil in, put it in braids and sleep with them. I also use a product for frizzy, damaged hair which helps my ends, and a dandruff shampoo for my scalp. 😩
Mine looks that way too and doesn't curl evenly when I scrunch it. It drives me nuts! Maybe I'll try embracing it more instead of wearing it up or straight.
