- Hi friends! I hope you love Juliet! In this tutorial, I show you how to create a base frame that sets you up for a 360 wearable pendant (meaning you can wear it vertically on either end or as a horizontal bar. Many of you ask me if I can give more details about shaping, hammering, and sanding, so in this one, we focus on all that too! Please like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed making Juliet! Much love! Have fun! Materials and Tools are listed below.
I give cuts and measures during the video, I also speed up through some of the sanding but the video slows down again each time I speak to share info.
You can use your Video controls to slow the motion down if you want to see the sped-up parts in real-time, but it's mostly repetitive sanding (I show the first how to sand in real-time)

Juliet is beautiful and wow, the purple hue in that stone is amazing 😍 thank you so much for this.
I do have a question about sanding. Do your hands absorb the copper dust? I have always wondered if I should get some latex gloves?
Have a great weekend, loads of love ❤
I can't say if our hands absorb the dust, but they certainly probably absorb the LOS if you don't use gloves... you should use gloves if you can work in them and have metal allergy or concerns about the dust, and definitely make sure you are in a mask or respirator mask if you are sensitive. I have a shop vac under my desk, they are not very much money from the hardware store, they have a powerful suction, and they have an attachment that resembles a rectangle (like the floor sweeper without the wheel in it)... anyway, the hose it has is also plenty large enough...I have that on, under the desk, suction on and hose opening safely under my dremel table to suck the dust out of the air while I work... you guys don't see this as it's loud so I don't use it on video but I will make more mention of that too. Safety always first as well as comfort. Many hugs! This is my make shift 'dust collection system' for the studio. I will speak on it this weekend too.
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Thank you so much, that is all really helpful information. I remember in the Studio tour, that you have the suction under your desk and I thought it was great. I have only just started properly thinking about health and safety.**cringe!!** Do you know, I had my first ever sinus infection this year also (I had been sanding some really old wood) So I have the goggles and masks now :) and for my super dry skin, it would probably be worth my getting gloves. Thanks for such a great answer and I look forward to seeing you this weekend. Love and hugs xx
Love your work..I hope to be able to come close.. hope
You can do it! Thanks for watching!
Great details! Thank you for sharing your tricks and tips.

Hi. Just wondering where you got your self healing cutting matt? I really like the markings on the inside of the squares. I can see they are very helpful in creating symmetrical work. Olease and thanks, on if you can let me know where you got it from.
Thank you! Here is a link to this same mat from my Amazon Associates store, I do get a small commission when you buy using my link so thank you for your support! You can also find these in your local sewing stores, hobby stores, etc, but they are all different with different marks, so if you want my exact one, here is the link...
