    I love this simple design and I'm going to keep practicing. I'm so impressed you are doing all this with the stone held up in the air!

    I love this remake of an old design. I encourage you to do more of these as I know you got better and better with new techniques over the years. The newer tutorials are easier to me than the older ones.

    When you've been wrapping so long your thumb bends backwards 90 degrees! I love your work - thank you for all these films x

    13:11 - This is the point where both front and back swirls should be hammered. When you hammer metal, the metal hardens and is hard to work with, so save the hammering for the last.
    This is a lovely, elegant design, very simple and shows off the stone well. The back is also finished off nicely.
    Doubling up the bail wire gives a very nice touch, and looks opulent compared to a single, sparse look. Very nice.
    Love it! Thank you!

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 3 měsíci +1

      You can definitely hammer the back swirl later at the same time as the front swirl if that's easier for you. I just like hammering the back swirl first because after being hammered it becomes harder and doesn't mis shape as easily when I do all the next steps and wrap the wire around the stone, but it is all personal preference.

    LOVE THIS 💯 THE BACK REMINDS ME OF AN AMMONITE ... OOO I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS , BUT I GOTTA SAY I AM HESITANT ABOUT HOLDING IT ALL TOGETHER & WHILST I HAVE ABOUT 5 METRES OF 22G HALF ROUND WIRE , SAME AS WITH MY RIO GRANDE HUGE ROLL OF 21G SQUARE .. I HAVEN'T YET USED THEM 🙈 IDK WHETHER I SHOULD HAVE GOT A THICKER SQUARE I JUST HAPPENED TO BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET SOMEONE ELSE HERE IN THE UK TO SELL ME ONE OF THEIRS ... I AM HAVING SOME EYE ISSUES SO I CAN'T ACTUALLY SEE MY WRAPPING WIRES PROPERLY & HAVE JUST BEEN LUCKY WITH MY FIRST PENDANT I JUST MADE ( NO TUTORIAL ) & MY FIG 8 WEAVE BAIL LOOKS FANTASTIC 💕THOUGH IT TOOK ME 5 GOES 😬😂 IT STARTED OFF QUITE WIDE WHICH I LOVE , BUT DUE TO THE WIRES SLIDING UPHILL ON THE 2ND HALF I ENDED UP WITH A MUCH NARROWER BAIL & THE ONLY ISSUE I REALLY HAVE ARE WITH THE TINY ENDS POKING OUT , NOW MAYBE THAT'S DOWN TO THIS FRUSTRATING EYE ISSUE I HOPE WILL BE SORTED ASAP OR WHAT APPEARS TO BE CARPELL TUNNEL ( OR MY FIBRO ) BOTH EQUALLY FRUSTRATING , BUT I AM PRACTISING WEAVES ATM TOO THOUGH I LOVE GETTING THE HAMMER & BLOCK OUT TAKING MY FRUSTRATION ON OUT ON THICK TWISTED WIRE & MAKING CHUNKY RINGS 💯💕 OMG I AM SO SORRY OXANA , I OR RATHER MY ADHD MAKES ME RAMBLE ON FOREVER 🙈 SO MY THANK YOU COMMENT TURNED INTO MY LIFE STORY & HISTORY OF AILMENTS 😆
    THANKS AGAIN FOR THE BEAUTIFUL TUTORIALS 💕 & NO NEED TO REPLY UNLESS YOU HAPPEN TO MOONLIGHT AS A DOCTOR 😂

    Thank you for the great videos. Your teaching skills are very helpful. I was wondering if you could help me with a question. I have a stone that is a little rough on the edge can I file it smooth some how? It's already in a setting.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Maybe with some sandpaper? But then the shine would be filed away from the stone

  • @mistysaldana3277
    @mistysaldana3277 Před 3 měsíci

    Simple design. I like it but dont like all the ties in the back. Seems it would be easier to make a frame wite pass around the inner backside, (so there's another loop around basically).

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes you can definitely do that, you'd still need some wires though to hold it all in place back there.I think in the original tutorial from 2016 on this design I did it that way.

    I don't care for the bend personally

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 3 měsíci +3

      I also prefer it without that little bend, I usually make them without it. However, if the stone is still a bit loose I wanted to show this last troubleshooting step of securing the stone, because I wouldn't want anyone to have to scrap their pendant if the stone is still loose, it is better to just add the little bend at that point and save the pendant.
