I like how he pulled away and said “it’s not for everyone”. It change the frame to qualifying the customer instead of the customer qualifying the seller
Prize frame that Solar!
Yeah that was great. Perfect example of "everyone wants to buy, nobody wants to be sold to." At that moment the customer wanted to buy!
He's super solid. Good question based selling. Great at deflecting and handling objections. Turning no into yes. Great work. That's how you serve families.
I love the way Ian uses soft transitions to keep their attention and make it personal. Stellar!
questions create the transitions and avoid awkward silence
I’ve been in solar in Oregon for 7 months now and this video has reaffirmed a lot of the techniques I use with home owners. Unfortunately going solar in Oregon right now is never less expensive in the first year but because of the way the one and only power company available in this area is increasing their rates, it still makes financial sense for most qualifying HOs. It just getting people to understand that the savings will be substantial if they can look past this year and into the next few.
Love his tonality, so calm very well spoken
Amazing simple convo while keeping the client engaged and having client answer their own questions/objections.. Great Job!
just joined Lumio a few days ago, first d2d gig. Been eating shit left and right, these videos help me keep my morale up after a rough day. Keep em coming!
Hey how’s it going so far? Give us an update!!
@@johnguerrero3174 going well, I have gotten 4 sets closed so far!
How much have you made so far?
@@swagsurfer03 you still with lumio bro?
@@Zachinator2009 Hey Zachary. I'm looking to start as a setter for solar as well. What's the company you Work for? Is virtual/ remotely/ by phone possible with them?
The turning point? When the homeowner persuaded himself and called it a win-win
Great pitch, i work in home improvements uk telesales 25 years, you can allways watch this to learn tips.
Never leaves an unnecessary silence. Gets him engaged at all times until it’s time to close this guy. Even if it’s not a one shot deal. That guy now has Solar for sure 😅 👌🏾
Wow that consumer to producer line is amazing.
this was really helpful! This guy is smooooth. I'm also a door knocker and picked up some tips 🤔🎓
Great set$$$$$$$$
Well done....
Amazing job!! I work in d2d and my group is amazing! I'll show this video. Any person interested in being part of the team, let me know!
Awesome man! I’m looking to get into solar myself, no experience but I’ve been learning so much from these videos. What company do you work for? I’m in Phoenix AZ
@@SeanBaker2 message me! I manage a team out here in phoenix and train guys. Would love to see if you’re a good fit.
This guy is a pro- thanks for sharing!
We couldn’t be more grateful to be training with a Double Golden Door Award winner.
Absolute 🔥
This is the pitch I’m using now on
This is top tier!!
good job
Ian is a Beast
That slick he used looks awfully familiar 👀
Calm demeanor didn't seem like a salesman. Great job.
Ian is amazing!
There’s that young lion in the back. Hope he’s learning well and killing it
Question for you what do you think about the PPA program would you sell it to your customers or would you only recommend to buy ?
Yoo Ian! What’s up?! Long time since Vivint 🤣
"Your guyies" guyies isn't a word bud haha
If this isn’t one of the best conversations I’ve heard 🔥
This HO was a lay down. He built his own pain but a really nice set!
Everybody is afraid to say the word Solar.
Alot of ppl think solar is expensive and when you say it's a turn off for them them put their walls up and say no. You have to word it right
Well yeah, it’s a trigger word for a lot of HOs
Lies I said the word solar ONE word and they said “we’ve been waiting for you” fake news bud
And the word “NO”
The no solar like people are uneducated 😂 💯
Vivint solar is Ight, how much y’all making on installs ?
I work in the solar industry. I am a door knocker. So this is super helpful and what to say.
We’ll hand out the free knowledge, but who will actually use it?
@@SnapperAcademy the ones who want to be successful
Did you make any money? Or give up already?
Tip number 1. When a homeowner makes it clear they're not interested, move on and don't go back.
He could sell him right there lol
2-3 weeks for the whole process?’
Who uses the king or queen of the castle line I like it personally but depending on the prospect
Every homeowner is different but this line seems to work on the majority of them if you say it the right way.
Bro was slamming crazy 🤣
did my guy just saw the process is 2-3 weeks?!?!? WOAHHHH
Roof qualified? What does that mean? Is that a fake selling point or is that a legimate
how many clients does a solar company have to get on average to be considered as okay doing company and
how much does an average solar company make a month?
Good question^^^
Most “solar companies” barely get by. It’s just a marketing brand what’s partnered with an installer. These companies come and go, get sued, change names constantly. I’ve lived it, out of solar industry now because of all the scamming.
@@flouserschird okay
1,000,000 a month
12 minutes of him just talking. Lots of information though.
He is a closer teaching how to set appointments lol ofc he is gonna give to much info setters dont do that
Smile in the back 👀👀👀
What unfortunate is that you essentially have to sell the end product itself, not the appointment. Then the closer comes in, now has to build much less value (does less work), but still rakes in greater rewards.
I know, only a problem if you’re JUST the knocker.
That's what im saying. Knockers dealing with 100 customers to get 5 appointments while the closer is closing 2/5 appointments. It seems obvious who is making the real money here
@@jaya1000no, depends on the company. My company is split 50:50 for setter and closer, some people get fkd over but thats how it goes
Those shorts don't seem dresscode for shadowing
Great tonality my man! I’m one of GoodLeap’s top sales reps out here in the SoCal area. Everything was smooth and understandable. One thing all my new canvassers over complicate is keeping things simple and you executed that perfectly! I just have a question though? Do you normally like to show numbers at the door or was this just a hook? Personally, I feel like showing numbers can damage setting the appointment because the homeowner tends to compare their savings with the quote you’re showing. I personally thing that’s the meat on the bone that shouldn’t get bitten into until your in the home. Overall, 10/10 man! Much more success to you 🤝🏽
Definitely don’t talk about numbers unless you have already gone over benefits and how it would help them, but can also be seen as a trick to know who wants and who doesn’t.
What’s up with that dude’s short shorts?
Gas station Analogy
🤟🏼💛👑🍀
His first mistake is saying you must be the King Of The Castle.
He didn’t get the set or bill. Got some good report but seemed like a waste of time with out the set or bill
But I have to give it to somebody that is interested 😂😭💀. Then dude said well then let me take a picture 😂😭💀
The meat and potatoes of it 🤣🤣🤣
Right to the point
Pretty good job! The guys with didn’t talk, but did so many things wrong even not talking. Unbelievable. He should have told them upfront not to make such a lousy impression.
This guy totally looks like Jack Black from the side.
Kwh or kw? Thought it was kWh.
Killowatt hour and Killowatt
Solar canvassing just isn’t as easy as it was a few years ago. There’s so many companies sending poorly trained reps to the doors ruining for everyone because of over saturation. Every house is getting at least 2 people a week on their door. It’s more like playing the lottery now then that of skill.
Dam bro standing with short shorts on at a door talking to a man .
What’s setting appointments is homeboy in the daisy dukes 😂
Dude made a deal with a devil
Why is everyone in short and white T-shirt? Are they on training?
Another sales fraudster at work. The property owner should have sent him on his way and called around for estimates once he lied about his utility company partnership. We are working with your neighbors most likely he has only went to neighbors doors as well, We are with the power company's net metering program did you get the information sent out no because they did not send any out since they aren't partners with the Utility company. He starts talking as if he is connected to the power company and then turns it to talking bad about the power company how could you miss that. Are you in Solar? We are in net metering but then talks about his solar installation program always a no money down program. Here is an example No electric cost Bill due to Solar. Do they pay for the panels above their electric bill? No they don't once again he circles around to yes the payment on the panels is separate from the utility bill. Why not just tell them you trade the high and variable utility bill for a stable lower cost using solar and explain net metering is required of utilities by the government regulators they do not do it out of kindness because they would rather make more profit selling the electricity with a large markup. Utilities have to give credit to you for excess solar power you will use to cover when your use spikes or at night when the panels aren't producing. The overall cost per watt you produce will be way less then the utility would bill you and the price from the utility will only rise making it an even a better value over time. It almost sells itself no need to start every presentation with a Lie.
These guys at the door with short shorts on people won’t take you seriously. 5-7 presentations only needed for 3-4 appointments. I wouldn’t take you guys serious based on your outfit and pitch doesn’t sound like you going straight to the point not to waste time .
You need a business card, great presentation though.
im sure hes selling a lease
Olive leaf pose lowers testosterone.
No not Solar we mainly work with net metering program. 60 percent increase in delivery in 6 month?!? 🤥🤡
lol he said "working with the neighbors on the net metering program." Also, if you sell in Texas you'd know that most homeowners saw an increase of up to 80% on their rates this year! Do your research bro!!!
@@jamiecurtis7153 hey i live in texas this is true but is it a good idea still to get solar pannels? I just applied to this company
Very bad pitch.
It’s terrible. He gives all the information at the door. These are the type of leads people call in saying “I did all the research after you left, and no thanks.” I feel so sorry for the gang of inexperienced fellas following him around.
talk about the easiest customer to come by, if he didnt set that i would have lost all respect for him. that guy was a laydown.
If it's so great why is this such a hard sell? LOL...it's hilarious these door to door people all say the same, "your neighbors down the street" etc. Etc. Let me go talk to the neighbors first, those neighbors are actually the sales people, next time bring the neighbors! for real!!! I'm dropping ya'll some knowledge in sales. I actually teach sales people when they come to my door on how to sell.
Yikes my guy
It’s a hard sell because you have to gain trust. After you have that it’s easy
Bruh
You’re definitely not in sales lol
Yea these fucks are relentless on me and use that "your neighbors are all getting our solar" that approach does not work on me, im not a confirmist normie or boomer who needs to emulate what my neighbors do. The other tactic is shaming me on voice mail when i dont answer the door for another one of our "scheduled appointments" where they cry about having to drive 70 miles to meet me, i just say yes now to everything because they dont take no for an answer, but i will not open my door again to them. The reason i did at first was my dog gone missing and hopeful soneone found it instead i get the annoyance of zoomers on my doorstep. If there product was so great they would not depend on archaic door to door sales, this is not the 1900s.
This door-to-door sales technique is weaponized, disingenuous and highly misleading. The sales people know they’re selling an inferior solution that benefits themselves at the expense of the homeowner. Constructing clever lines of questioning to brain hack, creating false selectivity parameters, omitting key facts and preying often on susceptible people is unethical and arguably despicable.
Dude would you rather pay a bill for the rest of your life that continues to go up or a bill that's stuck at a flat rate and will eventually go to zero. I would pick the energy bill that ends after 20 years. Instead of paying a electric bill monthly that will probably be $1000 in 20 years.
Keep coming to my door, I'm reloading. No B.S. !
Tough guy
