The price in Australia will determine Zeekr 's success. If it is too expensive. It will fail to sell.

I think it's the true Tesla Y competitor even with slightly less powerful spec's... Autoline did a comparison shop against it and Mr. McElroy was very impressed with it, mostly by its pick up and peppiness which what you mentioned. Especially when it's spec'd at $30K vs a Tesla at $38K. Personally this is what I'd pick if it were available here in Canada but so far it isn't...

Third quarter starts in three weeks. There is no marketing so far in car magazines etc for the Zeekr (as far as I Know). No brand knowledge or recognition = low sales this year.

Australia might be getting cheap Chinese electric car imports, but we will pay in the long run with poor quality, high maintenance, poor service and short life span of these rubbish cars.
