Swimmy is probably the best behaved pool patron. He doesn't run or dive in. And he NEVER splashes anyone else.
It's fun watching Swimmy enjoying the pool. He harms no one, and the videos are as soothing as can be.
But he doesn’t wear a swimsuit, he just bears it all!

What a considerate bear. If it weren't for the cameras they probably wouldn't have a clue this was happening. Bear doesn't get into the trash, doesn't destroy property, just goes for a relaxing swim and leaves in peace. ❤️🐻

I love how he comes alone. Not sharing his secret spot. He plays nicely, kicking around and enjoying the water, then calmly leaves after he's had his fun.
No poop or pee in the pool, no destruction, the perfect guest.

That is the coolest thing ever. He just waits till everyone is gone, and comes to enjoy a night cap and some relaxation. I’m glad they are allowing him to stay there, and are not making a big deal about it. He looks at peace. Living his best life.

@@blackthrone6976 as far as I know, outdoor pools dry out the pools during winter season. At least thats how it was done where I live. From the video it seemed as if they would keep the water in for the bear, which would be really cute

I'm a swimming teacher and very impressed with his water skills! So wonderful they have let him play. I hope it stays that way for Swimmy! Love to send him is swimmers certificate!

That Bear knows how to live! Even smells the Rose's as such and looks for snacks on his way to the pool. Then takes a relaxing swim and body surf the pool edge.

The shits also closed to the public for the winter. theyll prolly clean it before it opens anyway

I don’t think there were four bears, it was video editing layering all the different shots of his multiple visits into a little montage.

Bears in the wild have been observed to sit and stare at scenic shots like mountains and rivers for hours. And from what the experts say, they only do this because they think the view is beautiful

I love how Swimmy tests the water with a paw and gently gets in and stays at the side to acclimatise before setting off swimming, that's literally what most humans do! It's great that they are letting him swim because he's not damaging anything, well maybe the filter will have a lot of hair in it 😉.

Swimmy acts just like a human would while taking a late night swim! He goes back and forth like he’s getting some exercise in. He also hangs out at the wall separating the hot tub from the rest of the pool like many of us do! I think it’s really cool to watch a bear act so “normal”. He seems like a teenaged bear, not a baby but definitely not fully grown. Hopefully he’ll keep coming back every year!
When you say "normal" do you mean "like a human"? We want them to remain acting like "themselves"!
