- This episode of Star Wars Lore we take a look at a battle cruiser that was built by the republic during its final years and then was built by the empire not long after it was formed but bigger and more powerful. The Praetor mark 2 class Battle Cruiser.

Why didn’t the empire just establish bases on planets instead of makeing all these ships it would have been more cost effective
probably because starships inspired more fear and were more mobile than a proper base on 1 planet

@@parz2353 that is a tough one, I guess I would have to go with the Victory class SD as I have always liked that class of SD (took me atleast an hour to narrow down the options to the victory). What would you end up going with?
Again that’s a tough one I would chose the delta 7b aetherspite class light intercepter. (Anakins star fighter) I like it because it is equipped with good lasers and it’s good on gas lol or I would chose mandos ship. But are you excited for the clone wars comeing back

Absolutely my favourite ship in all of Star Wars, the clone wars go very differently when you mass produce these bad boys (modded empire at war)

I have been swamped lately, stopped because I went back to full time study then went straight from that into full time work and don't have the time available to do it like I used to. I do want to return tho so will see what happens, Kind regards.

I love this ship I use it in empire at war mods on a planet that have's a heavy defense

To be honest, I don't know. Life has taken a few twisted and turns, lost a few loved ones to death and got married. So at this point in time I would like to say that at some point I would like to start the videos again but I also wouldn't be surprised if life won't let me.
Everything wrong because this ship is not from the Republic. The origin from it, it was a old comic from Marvel where this type of ship was used by the Admiral Giel as the command ship and it was named the Helmsman. All the other things about how it was created in the Republic, more of 30 years before, they are invented by people which they wanted new models for a modification but they had not anyone new.

I'm good bro, just been busy. I started a full time course at the beggining of the year and that has been taking most of my time. Even during lockdown I had plenty of theory to cover. It’s been like 2 months since he uploaded wonder what happened to him
I I went back to full time study for work, It can be mostly done via distance and online so the lockdown didn't stop my study and thats what I have been doing last few months. Hopefully I will be able to continue the videos in the future but will just have to wait and see.

If the Empire didn't use the Tarkin Doctrine they would have won the GCW. Tarkin is a fool when it comes to ships. Bigger isn't better! Have versatility!! Palpatine is also to blame.
one of the reasons I love Thrawn, he understood this and tried to introduce some versatility into the imperial fleet
