LMAO I also had provided you the link to Dancing with the devil when I sent you the list the day before when you did Burden of Love I gave you a list of all the songs I hadn't seen on your channel yet including the Miho live version of The awakening/Hammer to fall which you haven't heard yet. Miyako is known to be the forgetful one, leaving white shoes in hotel in Europe, seen onstage in black with everyone else in white. I think I read that she forgot her "armor" on the day they filmed that Music Video. I could be mixed up on that, but she has been a full member since Summer 2017.
You're right. The ladies came to the decision to have Miyako become a full member of LOVEBITES while working on the 'Awakening from Abyss' LP.
Even then they realized that if they based their creativity on the 'New Wave of British Heavy Metal', then in the future they would constantly need another good guitarist to create their signature sound (including harmonized double guitars). In addition, Miyako is an excellent pianist/keyboardist and has proven herself to be an excellent composer. On the 'Awakening from Abyss' LP, Miyako composed music for 5 (!) tracks out of 12.
Miyako was confirmed (officially announced) as a permanent member of LOVEBITES in August 2017.
At that time, Miyako was a member of two other bands: 21G and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. Maybe this is one of the reasons why Miyako did not become a permanent member of LOVEBITES back in 2016, when Miho created the band ... ?!😊
It is unlikely that Miyako carried the armor with her and forgot it somewhere. In fact, it was like that. The director announced that according to the plot of the video, one of the participants should be without armor, only with a sword, that is, different from the rest. He asked which one of you it would be? Everyone pointed at Miyako, who was thinking about something else at that moment and couldn't object.)
Play it again, anytime....great song! To me this is a straight-up rocker, with Asami's vocal lines adding all kinds of sassy color! Like as well that M & M are using guitars that we rarely get to see, just for those specific tones....another side indeed!🤘

Oh yeah it's the playful side of Lovebites and Asami lets her RnB soul out to shine. By the way, Miyako was already a full member of Lovebites When Destinies Aligns came out

Sassy Asami showing off her R&B background here. To me, this track has a blend of AOR/Chicago blues feel. This is how awesome and diverse this band is, and it's a prime example of why they can play anything they want because they're that talented.
Yeah, I was very pleased by this one. Nice groove and Asami would have been at home in a Memphis Blues House.

I love this song so much; it’s catchy, sounds like classic rock and it showcases Asami’s bluesy side. My next suggestion is “Empty daydream”, live.

RC - you inspired me to get back to my computer. Sorry I've been so 'silent' . . . just before xmas I had a triple heart bypass surgery. Doing a lot better, and it feels great to be back at my keyboard. I heard one of your comments and felt I needed to tell the actual 'truth'' about Miyako and Lovebites. The reason she was a 'support' player for the first year was NOT because she had to prove herself to Miho. Mi-Ya was Always at the top of Miho's List . . great guitarist - even better on keyboards - incredible songwriter - recording engineer - and she was the Composer of their First actual Hit Song, *Shadowmaker* . Mi-Ya was already in a band called 21g, but hadn't formally committed to Lovebites, even though Miho begged her to commit, but Mi-Ya thought she could handle both. She and her friend Aya Kamiki started another project (Sonic Lover Reckless) and released one album - then the project fell apart, and considering that Lovebites was starting to get some International gigs, she finally committed in Aug or Sep of 2018 (about a year after Lovebites formed). For funsies sometime you might want to consider doing a _Before Lovebites_ series where you could watch the girls in their original bands. Haruna and Miho were in a dynamite band called *Destrose* . When it broke up Miho talked Haruna into forming a new band that matched what Miho wanted to play. Miho's first choices for guitar were Midori and Miyako who she knew from playing the same venues with Destrose. Midori was in a punk core band called *Gekijo Metalicche* . Miyako was in *a Drop of Joker* , then *21g* , then *Lovebites* , and had a side project with Aya Kamiki *Sonic Lover Reckless* (Miyako plays a 7-string) . She wrote songs for all 3, and some of those songs have been re-composed by Miyako as Lovebites songs. There is only one video from from *Sonic Lover Reckless* , *Phoenix* - czcams.com/video/DXZ-qhxd1VI/video.html , where Mi-Ya and Aya wore skin tight latex body suits - featuring _Tails_ . The four of them held auditions for a vocalist. Asami (who was a jazz lounge singer at the time) auditioned . . singing Halestorm's Love Bites (and so do I). She made such an impression that the band changed its Name from Powerslaves to Lovebites. There are a LOT of videos of Destrose, Gejiko Metaliche, and Mi-Ya's different bands. BTW, there are recordings with 21g where Miyako plays an 8-string! And there is a video of Asami singing Love Bites (and so do I) with Lizzy Hale and Halestorm @ the Download Festival in the UK - *Live* , and a few videos of Asami singing in Lounges and with *Vamps* in the Budakon.

We all need you here and it inspires me that you are back at the keyboard - And you have inspired me with that great Idea! A history of Lovebites is a great I dea we need to flesh out! That's a lot of great info we can start with. I'll start moving on organizing these videos and getting chronologically oriented. A bit of an insight into the workings of Midori's mind. She had a big hand in writing both the lyrics & music. Love it.
Another thing about the 'Burden of Time' video. Not only is she playing the chords on the guitar as well as playing the piano, she is also harmonising the piano with Midori on her guitar.

Oh yes you must check out their cover of Painkiller. It's awesome. Dancing with the Devil is one of the few songs written by Midori and it is different from their usual vibe. It reminds me of Deep Purple. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

And yes, in my opinion, all Lovebites songs are very different. Especially if you've listened to them hundreds of times already. "Dancing With the Devil" is no exception. This is a very unique song for Lovebites. And of course I love it!
Thank you for the reaction! I think you haven't watched the "Shadowmaker" music video. This is Lovebites' first or second music video. Perhaps the first music video was "Don't bite the dust". They recently re-released the music video for "Shadowmaker" in excellent quality and without a pause in the middle of the song :)

@@ericdarlington2332 In all honesty my all-time favorite male guitarist is Micheal Schenker from his days with the Scorpions to UFO and his own band MSG, I've invested in all of his discographies and have seen him many times live and next to him would be Glenn Tipton, for soulful and bluesy I go with David Gilmour and Frank Marino I know two of the guys are still doing it Tipton and Gilmour have retired. Yet there are many greats that I like and the same with other female guitarists as well as musicians. My all-time favorite Cellist is South Korean Yoon kyung Cho czcams.com/video/iyNmKOhVeCI/video.html she is phenomenal
