Saw them at Resurrection Fest, first time I've seen them outside Japan-Fami especially has been impressive this tour. As for Haruna, she can move her hands and feet faster than the speed of light, but she prefers not to, out of respect for Albert Einstein and his theory of relativity. Actually, she regularly approaches the speed of light when she plays, which means that time slows down for her, which is why she's so small.
I attended Hellfest in Clisson near Paris in France and saw them live on June 28th. The audience was won over and gave them a standing ovation with each song. At 72 years old I attended, with these young women, the concert of my life and it will remain engraved in me until the end. What happiness because even Metallica and Foo Fighters did not give me the same pleasure the following days with all due respect.
I saw them a few days ago in London, and I can tell you to be prepared for a shock at just how good they really are, everything you see on screen is enhanced 💯 in reality, I didn't think I could like and appreciate them any more than I did but I was wrong. Once in a generation band. You are very fortunate to get to see them live. We are too far away in Michigan.

Great review and analysis as usual ! Lovebites have recently announced they'll release a new EP with 5 new tracks called "Lovebites EP II". There'll probably be at least 1 new MV that'll come with that. They will also release a new LIVE LP (from the same concert in Tokyo as this "Dissonance" video) called "Memorial for the Warrior Souls". Both the new EP and LIVE LP will be released next month on August 28. Enjoy the show at Dallas !
Great review. What I feel from this is precision. Haruna and the whole band is so precise yet powerful as a hurricane.

Physically speaking Haruna def gets it the worst! But she is very good with her health, she is always taking supplements etc. I believe she does some light gym work.
Also not that it matter but she did loose a bit of weight this year. I just saw them Live twice in the space of 2 weeks and in both shows she was killing it non stop.
The whole band was on fire and having a ton of fun with us, the crowd. It was awesome!! Thanks RC! 🤘😊

They are crazy good musicians and artist. Dedication and love/happy with what they are doing were top notch.

One thing that has puzzled me is that if you listen to several reactors do the same song, the sound will sometimes vary (within limits), the same song posted by one reactor will have a more prominent bass, another will have clearer guitar sound, vocals, whatever .... does this have to do with the particular sound card or sound profile in the computer of the reactor? Doesn't happen on every track, but sometimes an instrument (for instance) will just leap out differently. Oh -- and another thing about Haruna's playing -- she'll often change up her patterns behind each of the guitar solos, feeling the style change when Midori stops & Miyako starts, and vice versa. Very cool.
I am not sure what happens there. I suppose it could be several factors such as recording software, rendering process or reactor doing some personal mixing in addition to the original Video audio. In the case of this video the drums were enhanced on purpose but not by me.
@@RockCandy-ix3nn Yep, I got that about the drums -- I think that must have been what reminded me to bring up my old perplexity. I actually like it, almost like an accidental remix.
Haruna is Lovebites' secret weapon. She would immediately elevate any group she joined, and she happens to be in a band with four other world-class musicians.

I know what you are talking about fan cams and a live show, but try some. Lovebites is stell doing great show even in a fan cam.
I do look through them from time to time but rarely do I find anything I would put on the platform - and even then there is usually an official version somewhere to be found. But I'll keep browsing! Thanks!

I'm a 74 year old metal head who went to see Lovebites play at both their London gigs. At the second one, at The Garage, I had a good view of Haruna, and spent most of the concert watching her in awe. I've seen many of the past big names play, and I with confidence place Lovebites up there with the best. You are in for a real treat when you see them in Dallas.
