How much of a fight Cody Rhodes put on for the fans back at his Hell in a Cell match against Seth Rollins, shows how much appreciated hard work, loyalty, charisma, and devotion, he gets from the fans reactions. No matter what his injuries were he still main evented the whole entire show and still to this day, it is still one of the most memorable moments in professional wrestling. Remember Cody Rhodes did this for us and for the WWE universe.
Yeah that was insane. Visible injury looked bad enough but what was beneath skin level was wayyyyy worse. A fully torn pec and other conteibuting factors!! Insane he did a hell in a cell match with that AND did crazy spots!! What a real soldier.

The fact that Cody Rhodes managed to win the Hell in a Cell match against Seth Rollins with a heinous looking pectoral muscle absolute amazed me the entire time. Rhodes deserves a lot of respect for risking every single second of it.

Undertaker vs Mankind at KOTR 1998 is one of all time great match
That is actually really cool about Gangrel! It's unfortunate the injury happened, but it goes to show you never know what will add to a character. Something as completely innocuous as a bruise made a character stand out from the pack (I mean, moreso than it already did!)

Rhodes and Rollins in Hell in a Cell was the main event for the first premium event I’d watched in over 15 years, just coming back as a wrestling fan. It was so hard to watch, but also one of the best matches I remember seeing. Ever.

If you're in the business, it's what you do. It's what you are trained to do. Whether as an independent worker or a star in a major federation. Some do, indeed, go beyond what is expected. A real reason to respect those who sacrifice their bodies and a reason that the term "fake" is a disrespectful term.

I was at the Hell in the Cell PPV in Chicago when Cody and Seth fought. Cody has serious balls.
I used to do martial arts, and seeing someone wrestle with as bad a back injury as HBK or Cody had makes me wince. I have to say that's a respect thing cause I know for sure I couldn't do it, but they pushed through. Kudos 💯

This video should've included WCW matches, if only to cover Sid's horrific leg fracture in 2001. I still remember watching that live. Thought his boot had slipped off at first, it was just at such a unnatural angle. Certainly the most graphic wrestling injury that I can think of that doesn't involve blood. That had to be excruciating, and for quite some time too.

I don't care if WWE is scripted, the things the man has done while his body was screaming at him to stop...and most people never even noticed he was in pain...yeah I don't care how badass you are, you're gonna have your work cut out for you stopping someone with that much of a pain tolerance.

The 2003 elimination Chamber Match @ Summerslam 2003 was awesome the entire PPV was awesome Especially The Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar Match for the WWE Title and I have that PPV on DVD which is awesome RVD vs Kane was also a great Match and St Anger by Metallica is an amazing song.
They used to go all in in their ppv back then. Wish I was old enough to watch them live

Huge respect to these man putting their bodies and lives on the line for our entertainment, a lot of them could easily take a leave of absence and it would be 100% justified but still put on a show!

Having ur biggest match ever injured but against the undertaker is actually quite a blessing, the undertaker is extremely safe to work with especially if he knows ur injured.
The fact the Goldberg carried on with the fight after he’d given himself a concussion is ridiculous. He literally could have been killed if he’d developed SIS. Even now with everything we know I still don’t think concussions are taken seriously enough in wrestling

I've had that happen to my elbow..its called "extreme bursitis ". It swelled and I had to go in and get it drained.
That kid made Kurt's life a living hell.
I was a fan of Cody during his first run in WWE. He has always delivered the goods and is one of my favorites of all time.
If it weren’t for that kid Johnny, Kurt Angle probably wouldn’t have even went to Wrestlemania

This list is for wrestlers who had injuries before a match started but wrestled anyway so the one I'm going to mention doesn't really qualify. But I'm still going to mention it: Triple H in the first Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series 2002. Rob Van Dam botched a frog splash from the top of the cage and landed on Triple H's throat, crushing his larynx. That meant he couldn't breathe yet somehow he managed to finish the match. How the heck do you wrestle when you can't breathe?

I watched gangrell wrestle zicky dice championship wrestling from Hollywood this past weekend. I noticed gangrell was limping, I thought he injured his ankle during the match, but now I know that injury goes back decades. All I can say is wow.

I love how Goldberg is so dumb he injures himself, and it's happened a few times.
The dumbest had to been when he was in WCW and punched through a limousine window. He tore his arm open all the way to the bone on the broken glass. He destroyed tendons & ligaments and was at serious risk of losing his arm for a while. He's damn lucky the surgeons were able to repair it.
Funny thing is, people actually told him to stop bashing his head into a door many times but he still does it lol

You do one where wrestlers stuffed in where a wrestler is stubborn injuries prior to matches like for example at 1 time the young to take a wind down the rain and he was burned by the pyro techniques and rushed down the ring in the Elimination Chamber match they sprayed him with water to try to cool him down but he suffered some Burns except for some Burns then there was also Triple H at 1 where he was dealing with a dry ice effect and some of the dry ice guy on his chest and skin those are 2 injuries I will put on the list.

I still think Cody shouldn't have performed with that injury.
There's no need to put yourself through so much pain just to entertain us.
Maybe just call it an injury caused by whoever they're feuding with, put together some 'exclusive footage' showing the incident, you can even say police are investigating. You can get treatment and then come back with a 'serious score to settle' that 'goes beyond being a professional wrestler and is deeply personal', not unlike Seth Vs Riddle, which was done so well.
The reason he chose to compete was that his injury was already as bad as it could get. The muscle was completely detached. So there was no chance he could worsen the injury by competing in the match. Thus his recovery time was not affected whether he competed or not.
I’m saying “compete” when I mean “performed” but you get my point.
That Goldberg concussion injury was dangerous, comedic, and stupid all at once.
