I havent watched wrestling in a few years. I didn't know about Big E. When I saw him on this list, my first thought was that dive to the outside of the ring that he did finally caught up with him. Im shocked that he got a neck injury, but THAT was not the cause! That always made me wince every time he did it.
If I were to add something to the list I would definitely say the Punt kick from Randy Orton, that is considered to be the most dangerous move in professional wrestling as of today. The reason why is because he kicks his opponent legitimately in the skull, that can cause permanent damage to the brain cells. It can also leave you with a severe concussion.
It’s suppose to be save in a way ig he hasn’t injured anyone or not that I know of but your suppose to move your head so idk maybe both performers or just randy needing to be more careful
I believe the only person he's legitimately concussed with it was Vince McMahon in the buildup to WrestleMania 25's showdown with Triple H. Vince wanted the angle as real as possible, so he requested Orton legitimately punt him square in the head
Spinal injuries are hard to Guage. I broke my neck three years ago, and they told me my life was over, I couldn't stand up straight, right arm atrophied, and I was in pain 24/7, I seriously wanted to die. Then bit by bit I started regaining my strength, pain started to slowly fade away, the feeling came back to my hands, and my arm grew back to the same size as the left. Now I do have some discomfort from time to time in my neck, and I did end up losing my right pectoral major to atrophy, apparently, tge break severed tge nerve to that muscle, so there is no coming back from that, but I've adjusted and have a normal life again. The body is a incredibly adaptive machine, nerves can reroute, which I was told was impossible, other muscles can even out the loss of other muscles, time and the willingness to keep pushing and tge body works wonders. Pray for him, I'm living proof miracles are real, 4 of the best surgeons said I was finished, yet here I am, I did no surgery, no shots, nothing but cannabis for pain, and a very very stubborn mind that made me try even type of muscle rehabilitation in the world I could find and an amazing family that helped me through it, and for 6 months all I did was scream, so they have the patience of angels.
Surprisingly Big E didn't even blaming Ridge Holland for injured his neck in simple way yet Bret Hart still blaming Goldberg for ended his career in 20 years 😂
I was under the impression that Hardcore Holly intentionally sandbagged because he wanted to make Lesnar look stupid. If true, no wonder he doesn't blame Lesnar.
Surprised you didn’t mention the time at Survivor Series 2002 where RVD does his 5 star flog splash on Triple H, his knee accidentally landed on H’s throat full force, which ruptured a few things in his throat. After the match, H was legit rushed to the hospital so they can make sure he doesn’t die choking on his blood.
I DIDN'T KNOW BIG E WAS OUT FOR GOOD! I was literally thinking at the beginning of this video how I'd like to see him come back...damn man...at least he's going good now...
They haven’t said he’s done for good. He plans to get re-evaluated about a year after the injury (March 2023). Although as of his latest interview, based on doctor’s concerns about if he got back in and suffered the same injury again he is “unsure” if he would return to the ring.
Or the Superkick that Goldberg landed on Bret Hart that ended his career as well. Bret Hart is still sore about that to this day (since he recently stated that Goldberg should lose his Hall of Fame status due to ending his career)
I’ve seen the muscle buster Kidd got. It was brutal. Really sucks his career was cut so short, but I’m glad he’s recovered and doing well with the producing job.
Typo at 3:16 (can I get a hell yeah) When mentioning Droz and his surgery you say “he wouldn’t be able to feel anything above his neck” I think you meant to say below
I'd like to say edge didnt break his neck. I use to work with him a few years ago and he told me what happened but for the life of me I can not remember. He told me he doesnt blame edge for what happened and was glad he has had an amazing career
Don’t wrestlers get punished for injuring others? I mean some of these look accidental but it looks like some can’t even execute the move consistently… Im talking about Ridge Holland one.. that’s was brutal. It looked terrible and careless.
That big e spot was ridiculous the wrestler who done the belly to belly over head the guy was way to small to pull that off with a big guy like big e god bless him and hope he comes back
Brock Lesnar legitimately dropped Bob Holley on his head. You can tell tell. And the way he kicked Bob afterwards was Brock giving him a receipt. More than likely Bob tried to bully the new guy like he did others and Brock wasn't going to put up with it. I never felt sorry for Bob. he deserved it.
People still swear wrestling is fake and you don't get hurt because it scripted. They should feel stupid especially with the actual injuries that happen to wrestlers.
I know this sounds very childish of me, but I hated Ridge Holland for the longest time after that incident. Not to mention he (almost) did something similar to Johnny Gargano on NXT. I’m not mad at him anymore, it was just a horrible accident. I’m just glad Big E is doing okay & that he isn’t upset with him.
Big E landing with his full weight on his head neck on the outside is probably the scariest incident I've seen in WWE. It's hard to look at everytime.
Luckily Langston didn't end up like Droz...
Sid viscious ( justice) leg break
Oh yeah, hard to see. But there are endless other ones that looked scarier.
I agree, seeing that live was without a doubt the scariest thing I've seen.

I thought he gimmick the kick.. well I guess that’s why Vince became even more crazy over the years.
Its always incredible when you break your neck and you can actually recover from it.
The muscle buster definitely looks like a dangerous move. I’m definitely not surprised to hear that Samoa Joe actually injured people with that move.

I thought it was the powerbomb that injured Undertaker? Brock did the spot twice, reversing a submission, and that's what did Taker in.
And they say it's not real. Yeah right
Right? Mick Foley is a prime example.
The buckle bomb also to finn at summerslam
*Brock and Sock!!!*
Wait...was Taker supposed to lose his streak to Lesnar or was it cos of his injury?
To watch this video after hearing to Mick Foley yesterday... it is very saddening
I was at the Monday night raw Cena broke his nose it was in Oklahoma City you could hear the crack from the rear seats it was sickening
Which move cause Bray injured? Moxley move doesnt seem to botch.
Jeff Hardy wanted that hell in a cell. Was it worth it Jeff? He really wants to wow the crowd, and has no disregard for his own body.
