For the love of God bring back this style of Country Music. This is the real deal here..
Yeah, compare this to the "New Country" of THE BULL station in Atlanta.
The beautiful woman of country music now that music what To country today they all died and no one to take their place now that is sad
These ladies could sing and dress nothing fake like today
Really lovely voices and so happy we have CZcams to keep these voices available to us.
Oh. I just love this. Wow. Thank you so much.
Back when legends walked the earth, now all we have is cowboy boots and vowels.
Gurls and trucks
How can 1 guy be so lucky? ALL those GORGEOUS ladies and singing to him. I envy you Ralph!!!!
This is true music, no auto tune just talent, and if you noticed Jeannie Seely never sings don’t touch me like that, so that was a real treat!
years ago while living in WV where my Husband was born and raised we took my Precious Mom with us too see this great singer Jeanie C Riley at a Fair in FORT ASHBY WV AND WE ALL GOT TO TALK WITH HER TAKE PHOTOS AS SHE WAS AUTUOGRAPHING PHOTOS! SHE WAS, VERY FRIENDLY TO HER FANS, AND WAS NOT JUST A WONDERFUL LADY AND SINGER! MY MOM, REALLY ENJOYED SEEING HER ALSO AS SHE AND MY DAD LOVED COUNTRY MUSIC YET MY MOM'S MOST FAVORITE OF ALL SINGING IS GOOD OLE GOSPEL SINGING AND HAD BEEN SINCE SHE GOT SAVED AND DEDICATED HER LIFE TO JESUS, AT 18YRS.OLD , AND WHEN LEAVING THIS OLD WORLD, WHILE IN "OUR HOME"! SHE TOLD HER SISTER ADDIE WHO HAD COME TOO BE NEAR HER, LOOKED AT US ALL AND SAID VERY STRONG AND CLEAR VOICE! I'M DYING FOR I SEE JESUS!!❤ AND WE ALL KNEW THAT WAS TRUE! Mother's Day is COMING AND I LOVE AND MISS THIS STRONG INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE, AS I KNOW SO MANY OTHERS DO
THEIRS ❤😊
Fantastic! Jeannie, you haven't changed!
what a an honor, what a tribute, what a man, RIP Ralph
Jeannie Seely the Queen of the Opry sings about real things that's how she taught me about this life like don't go home drunk to a loving wife and who would know that children's games make you cry four poster beds and things that were said when saying goodbye, many ladies have watched her when they get their start with that golden voice she still stands apart. Don't touch me if you don't love me, sweetheart ..Thanks Jeannie for your dedication, professionalism and for sharing your talent with us. Happy New Year. E
Yes they were all legendary. And with such beautiful voices.
I loves Jeannie C Riley & Barbara Mandrell. Two of my favorite singers😘❤️😘
Ms Seely, from the first time I saw you on TV in the early 70s, you have always had the prettiest hair in Nashville. This holds true today! I'm grateful you are still on the Opry! You are a talented, soulful treasure!
I have been country all my life Jennie selliey is the best I ever heard
Mr. Smooth Ralph Emory 👏

I grew up going to "COUNTRY MUSIC SHOWS" with my daddy, we saw all the greats LIVE!! He's in HEAVEN now, but thanks daddy for giving me the great gift of LOVING Country Music R.I.P.
Hello Robin, I'm sorry to read about your Dad but think of the concerts he enjoys now Country Gold and Streets of gold, No more sin, reunited with beloved kin, maybe even see his Mama and Daddy all happy again.. You would think that we'd be dyin to get in...I included some lyrics of mine that I sincerely hope you like? But I understand if you don't, it's just a play on words I've heard Oh, man! I've been dying to go there or see that? I meant no offense or disrespect. God bless you and I hope the new year brings you nothing but the best things as this orb spins around, I really wanted to promise you a Rose Garden.. but I didn't want to overstep my bounds. Sincerely,. EAP TCB
You bring a tear of Joy with all these from the Past ThakYou
Jennie
They are all Brilliant xx
The memories that just went through my head..... :)
I was at this taping at the Opry House way back in 1990 - what an exciting night that was! Love seeing this clip!!!!
You make it sound like a Rose Garden or to me nothing short of paradise I've been to my share of concerts but all of them together wouldn't even come close to this musical Eden I am in awe of what you saw I am envy green over what you've seen. Man, what a memory/story hard to beat that's for sure. I stood in that hallowed circle on the Opry stage.. but I was part of a tour, the women of Country Music have taught me about life.. don't come home drunk to a loving wife and who would know children's games make you cry four poster beds and things that were said when saying goodbye I've listened to em all but it was still tough when she said mostly your excuses ain't worth much but this time it's not worth anything at all... E
O Yes so right
What classy women not only of country but in life 👏
This was a good time and nite for everyone> Especially Ralph"""""""
Kitty Wells should be front and center.

Wow, Patty Loveless is so young here and Connie Smith kind of young too.
Ethel lovedimm
Patty Loveless truly was young… Constance was 50 but looks young; she just ages like fine wine!
Fantastic :)
So awesome to watch this..I was about 15 when this came out!!
"WOW" great Video
Women were so beautiful a few years ago classy no tattoos or piercings n sure could sing a hell of a lot better
This is so beautiful and perfect Other than Skeeter Davis not being up there because of Ralph
Kitty should have been last...or first. She started it ALL.
whos all still alive and singing on here
I think only Miss Kitty and Lynn Anderson have passed away. The rest of them I believe are still living. And I know Seely still performs at least once per weekend at the Opry.
Barbara Mandrell, retired, Anne Murray, Lee Greenwood, Ray Stephens, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Wairner etc. Need to watch entire program to see some of these artists.
Patty Lovelace, Connie Smith
Jeannie Seely Patty Loveless Connie Smith and Barbara Fairchld
Love this
It took me a second at the beginning to realize it was Johnny Cash speaking.
damn Ms. Seely was smokin hot at 50
Why are they not doing the full song ?
I taped this when it originally aired, and still have the VHS tape. I enjoy listening to Jeannie Seely on Sundays with Seely on Willie's Roadhouse channel 59 SiriusXM every Sunday.
ty all of them liveing but lynn and kitty
Loretta Lynn still living
yes she is but Lynn Anderson passed earlier this year I believe
Jeannie Pruett has been retired
Connie Smith still in her prime
Barbara Fairchild, Patty Loveless and Anne Murray still making music and Jeannie still the Queen of the opry
Besides them and Bill Anderson and a few others country music is dead
I was in the audience the night this was taped. Poor Johnny got sick and June had to take over for him. The ladies were great but I don’t like Ralph Emery because of the way he treated poor Skeeter Davis. She made him what he is, paid for all his plastic surgeries, yet he just used her. Read Skeeter’s autobiography “Bus Fare to Kentucky”. Skeeter was never a hypocrite or a liar.
Yep.. No skeeter davis at that taping, never cared for Ralph Emery either.
Why wasn't Tammy wynnette there
Canada's national Treasure...that's funny
who else
😓 this really gives a look at just how Dolly was a cut above the rest of her competition.... I really think the guy who said she was only a cut above down played it. 😓 Most of those women can't even stand stage right...
OK Why weren't there the real Country Music Queens there.
Barbara is a real Country Music Queen.
Are you kidding? Barbara Mandrell, Lynn Anderson & Anne Murray were all huge primetime stars. Granted, the rest, except Patty Loveless, are primarily only washed-up Opry stars in their era. Big difference in being a country music star and just an Opry star.
@@okeekonokee5282 Connie Smith and Kitty Wells were there too those are the original country Queens
