  • From October 1983, Glen Campbell is running late but makes it to the show! Talks with Ralph about Mel Tillis, the song "Slow Nights" that they were finishing up recording at that time, plus Mel's time on the Goodtime Hour, and the controversy at the time over Mel's stuttering (gives Glen an opportunity to do a great imitation of Walter Brennan). Glen also takes questions from the audience, mostly about baby Cal, 6 months old, and Glen's wife Kim brings Cal on the show at the very end. Among the guests on the couch are Vic Damone and Carl Jackson.

Awww...CAL the upstager! Look how Glen just melted when he saw Kim bringing in his baby son. What a sweet moment.

Ralph was as boring as watching the grass grow. Even that voice was so monotone.
