I got a 2020 after drivn several manuals. 10speeds are ten times better than manuals and 100 times better than the ond 6spd autos
Trans-brake= broken drivetrain parts.... They work great but it's rough on parts.
i just got the trans brake on my 2018 10 speed havent tried it yet , you dont use the brake at all with trans brake just new with it ,

i'm curious, i heard the 10 speed was designed by ford and gm and it comes in the Camaro and corvette or can be an option. like i said it'd what i heard. do you think or know if this feature is available for them as well?

you have an 18 10r80? whipple car 60ft off footbrake why put extra stress on trans if not necessary.

The 10r80 is supposed to be all that and a bag of chips, but mine blew the fuck up just driving it. Yours is killing it though, nice!

The 10 speed has a class action suit against Ford in court. Harsh shifting ,rpm hunting, blowing the fuc up.The mod on here is locking 1st and reverse together yes it works but make sure you have a ride home,tick ,tick.

Is this the same as line lock? My 2018 has line lock option on the dash menu. Ive used it once and it seems to do the same thing. Mine is a manual trans.
Nah bro this is an automatic feature it isnt needed for a manual you can just rev to wherever you want when you launch but the stock auto won't rev passed 2k before breaking the tires loose when stalling...circle d has s 10r80 converter now that would be ideal the trans break is a little harder on stuff. Its kind of like revving it high in nuetral and then slamming it into drive and taking off with rpms already higher up. Not exactly but that is kind of how it works and its hard on the driveline
How you manage to fuck up the bumper on a 2018 + ... quick latch was for all the 2015-17s because ford fucked us with the cheaper bumper tabs

Fastest cars are autos. GM’s 4L80 and the TH400 it’s based off, their 8 speed, the 6R80 and 10R80 (the 10 speed shared with GM), the 8 speeds in the Chrysler’s, and not to mention the 2 speed Powerglides. Wanna go fast, autos are it. And a world more reliable than DCT’s.
So, when did they become popular? Since drag racing has been a thing.

@@kubaz8702 bruh, technology works it's way down all platforms. As horsepower goes up so is the demand for not destabilizing the vehicle. Manual shifting upsets the vehicle in high horsepower racing. Now I understand why you wouldn't know this, your 4 banger VTEC is all you know so you really have no experience to understand why Automatics are faster, safer, easier to dial in. Cheers !!

What are you going to do when those oil pump gears shatter just go ass boosted F-150 better replace them with Billet gears Camaro axles are way stronger people with blowers are leaving hard and very rarely are breaking them .guitarmageddon has 1000 wheel horsepower and with over a hundred passes and finally broken axle last week and that was stock axles and the track prep was super sticky
+Robert Johnson dude you confuse me lmao. i have 1500hp axles! f150 and gen 3 coyote opgs are slightly different also the 18 gen3 has fluiddamper harmonic balancer. i will change them over the winter but i think they are fine.

I was referring to the video you posted on the tent in your own words you said a stock Mustang has weak axles that was what I was referring to in comparing guitarmageddonzl1 that has a thousand plus wheel horsepower and he just broke a axle after 100 + passes Mustangs just break wait till you get ready to replace those four camshafts and see how much that cost dude I used to own a Mustang but not anymore and please don't be the guy that puts a ghost cam in your car listen Mustangs are nice cars my whole point is that Ford takes people's hard-earned money and put stuff in their cars that's not reliable especially if you're going to beat on it just like the new 6-speed transmission why didn't they keep the Tremec it does it make sense and I know you know that the flat-plane crank Motors are giving problems also Ford needs to keep their cars and do more research and development before they release them
Listen I'm not trying to be a dick 15 or so years ago I was a service tech at a Ford dealership that's when I owned a Mustang the 3 valve motor Ford had problems back then you couldn't even get the spark plugs out of the head they would seize they had that Long Reach funky 14 mm spark plug they would seize in the head and was a bitch to take out they also had a class action lawsuit against them just for that. don't get me wrong a lot of Manufacturers have problems with their cars Chevy Chrysler Dodge Toyota you name it the thing about Ford is they are keeping these things under their hat and not revealing it to the public I seen it for my own self that's why I'm such a downer about the coyote motor when they release that motor back in 2011 I thought it was going to be a great motor and for the displacement it is a good motor but they do have their problems good luck with your car I hope you keep running at the track without any breakage
If u do a few 7day dry fast u would get into the 9's. from that 10 pass. No reason to lug around extra 100+lbs , let ketosis take care of that shit.
