In Alexander’s eyes, he was laid to rest by the most worthy of opponents, and a comrade he wouldn’t have had it any other way. I consider that a good ending for him.

Patches quest received a small extra post v1.04 update. After Patches "dies" head back to where you first encountered him and the boss fight will start. Nearly identical to your first encounter Patches will confront you when you open the chest but then he'll recognize you and you will get a new gesture (the Patches' Crouch). You can kill him if you want now and loot his gear. Or if you choose to spare him, he becomes a merchant in the cave again. But really he has nothing new to sell, so you may as well kill him.
Also unmentioned in the video, you can also deliberately provoke Patches to fight again by hitting him a couple of times, but this time let him lower your health to critical at which point he will tell you to beg for forgiveness. Use the Grovel for Mercy gesture which you learnt after fighting and beating Patches the first time and you will automatically learn a new gesture "Extreme Repentance". Use the new gesture to make Patches stop and he'll become a merchant again. You can continue his quest as normal.

Iron Fist Alexander offers an absolute must-have reward which is Shard of Alexander among other items one of which is required for another chain quest. The Shard greatly increases all damage from your weapon skills. For reference - my mage's Moonveil Katana skill "Transient Moonlight"' got it's damage boosted from 1300 to 1500+. This was the difference in most PvP fights and in quite a large number of PvE ones where the weapon would directly one shot an opponent instead of leaving him at very low hp and giving him time to recover &/or retaliate.

It's probably the one that is the best setup for a sequel. Frenzied Flame destroys the world, and all the others have you stick around as the Elden Lord with a variation of the Golden Order. Meanwhile, Ranni's ending sees you leave the Lands Between with the establishment of a fundamentally different order.

I know a lot of people have mentioned that you can skip parts of those quests (and that’s what will normally happen anyways) and still complete them but I find it more satisfying to do every single step on a quest. Doing all the steps on quest can give you more context on what’s going on and why stuff happens. For example doing all of Blaidd’s questline will give you the context on why he’s hostile at the end and make the ending feel more sad and depressing as you learn everything that led to that inevitability.

So ya, he'll actually forgive you unlike all other characters that would start fighting back, should you hit them. But then after you slay Blaidd later, the blacksmith tells you that Blaidd had been actually been imprisoned for his own safety or for Ranni’s safety or something.
Then he’ll say that he fears his time is near too. Reload the area and you’ll find the blacksmith dead on (black) fire, surrounded by dead black knife assassins, just like Blaidd was (except Blaidd had survived their assassination attempt on him by the time you find and battle him).

Milicent's quest's reward "Rotten Winged Sword Insignia" is actually completely busted for some builds like my Arcane/Bleed/25 Faith Double Godskin Peeler build. It stacks with the Flask of Wondrous Physick's effect which does the same thing and when you do a jump attack which hits 4 times instantly, you can literally one-shot any single player in the game regardless of their build. It's worth to note that this talisman stacks with Milicent's Prosthesis but it's not optimal to use both since there are better talismans to place in stead of her arm. Still it's a pretty nice lore items to compensate for it.
Also they gave you the option to back out of the Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending by completing Milicent's quest because if you're not playing using guides and are instead exploring on your own, the game never explicitly tells you that this ending is the only one which locks you on one path unlike all other endings. And only when you actually lock yourself on that path you then get informed by Melina after defeating the Fire Giant that you still have time to return to your previous path. If you choose to ignore her however, you solidify yourself on becoming the Lord of Frenzied Flame and keeping those sick cosmetic burns across your entire body. It looks really well with the Hero's armor set for example which reveals a lot of your skin. Looks great on both female & male body types.

Idk if anybody has ever thought of it but I added my potions to my pouch quick select slots and instead have my summons and trinkets/tools on the down button slot since cycle thru those isn’t so bad when looking for summons. Point being now (as Xbox player) I can hold Y button and have access to any potion with the corresponding D pad press. It’s made it so convenient instead of cycling to the desired potion.

I have a theory about Sellen's fate. So it's already noted/implied that using the Primal Glintstone that houses her soul, she's likely been hopping bodies for a very long time. However the one found under Selvius's tower is probably a doll body with a fail safe in mind that should the doll betray its master or not ever being activated by him it turns into a School of Graven Mages/Arcane Sphere of Faces so that it cannot live a normal life. Or the doll was constructed by using an Arcane Sphere as a base. It's noted somewhere in lore from an item that the Arcane Sphere of Faces is the primal form of glintstone so another possibility is that after years and years of her transferring her soul with that Primal Glintstone it finally backfired or was not compatible with a doll body and she turned into that. It's not clear but as with most all Souls games most NPCs never get a happy ending.

The Virgin advice is actually the quickest way to fight Rykard, when he kicks you down the mountain side it’s actually a direct path to Volcano manor. He also does this is DS1 in the tomb of giants leading you to Nito and in DS3 Ring city he kicks you down the hidden path leading to Gale in the worst ways possible he’s the most useful guide in the Souls series.
