Hi Folks. I’m the geek trombone player with glasses in frame behind Aubrey. He was a good friend of mine, and really its so cool seeing all of y’all diggin’ what he’s playing here. He spent a lot of time working out ideas on this tune, more than whatever number you’re thinking off the bat, and he would have really appreciated knowing how it’s impacted so many people.

I did my undergrad in Tucson. Aubrey made such an impact on that community. I only had the pleasure to play with him a handful times at a jam session when he was in town. I clearly remember the day he passed. Everybody was struggling. Rest in peace

I think my highschool band could do that. The only hard parts are that trumpet scream which i could probably handle (i can hit up to double g theoretically but consistently i can only get to e~f) and our woodwind player can definitely do that given some practice (yes j meant woodwind he plays every sax flute clarinet oboe base clarinet basoon piccolo and any other woodwind he can get his hands on and is now dabbling in brass)
He was trying out trumpet the other day and "now I understand why most of the trumpet section sucks" though he could already go above the staff
