Do you recall if they do another blood pressure test at reception or at MEPS before you head to reception?
Not at my meps.
If you had high numbers the first time they might.
For the next week
don't salt your food, no caffeine, and try not to eat meat 2-3 days before.…and drink enough water
It drastically changes your blood pressure.
The day you go to meps don't eat until after you did your medical again. You will be fine! All the best to you on your journey 🤗

I would bring the original copies
Sometimes the copies that they have aren’t no good quality. Just bring it in case

If you can read and understand English there is no need. The people who went to ESL program could not understand English.

all of the documents your recruiter submitted to meps.
Reception should have everything but just in case a copy isnt clear or something like that I would bring orginals.

Hey! So my boyfriend was in reception for a week. Then was sent to where he was doing basics. I got a call from him it was only like 30 seconds. Was this the call where i got his address?? I could barely hear him, it sounded so chaotic in the background. I hope i didn't miss it.
He will call again , that call was just to let you know he made it to basic training. He will be able to send you a letter as well and you can get his address at that time

More men than women, but there definitely was no shortage of females. We had one full bay with about 30/40 females ( sleeping area ) and the guys had like 4 to give you an example .
So, do I need to bring additional underwear besides what I wear? Or will they just make me throw it out and buy it at the px?
You don’t have to bring underwear you can buy them at the pX . I would definitely recommend bringing solid colored underwear I have some linked in my Amazon store . The undies at the pX were all white when I went .

Ideally you all will be in the same battery.
Being held at reception option( because of bloodwork, and anything like that ) would cause you to be ( recycled ) and you would leave with another group ❤️

Just walk you into the room and do like a normal eye test ( cover your eye read the chart )
if you were glasses you will skip this part and get a prescription.
Its like a normal eye exam. They just want to make sure for thoes who dont have glasses and need them you are covered.
@@tanzzyi6198 so the eye exam isn’t extensive like meps eye exam is, is what you saying right you just look at a paper chart on the wall and cover one eye at a time with your hand?
