You will have to go to sick call. I will tell you that when you go to sick call you might miss out on your days to complete your task … and you could be held at reception. When you head to basic training same thing … you can go to sick call but if you miss too many trainings you could be recycled. My suggestion is to bring a few otc pills with you in your bag. Remember I said all of the stuff you need for reception put it in this bag ? Place those pills in there. They don’t check your bag in reception like they do in basic . Another option is to have your doctor prescribe you Tylenol. Because you are allowed to have some meds “like birth control “ … and the med from sick call in your locker as long as it’s prescribed to you .

Hi! I leave on monday for basic at fort leanord wood, and was using your video as a guide to packing. Wouldn’t they just lock all of this stuff up? for example the I will be in there in the winter months too and i wanted to get the booties but would i even be allowed to have them?
That depends on your drills. Somethings we had to put away Initially and then they let us get them. I would put the booties with my socks and don’t broadcast that you have them . And when you wear them , put them under your uniform socks ( because you have to match everyone else ) you will be fine ! All the best to you on your journey 🥰
This might sound like a silly question but I have acne and use prescribed acne cream to keep it under control. Would they let me bring acne cream and would I have time to wash it off in the morning?
They probably would let you bring it , make sure you mentioned it at meps . Now having time to wash it off in the morning is another thing lol … you have hit times so you would need to wake up EARLIER than the others in the bay.
Yes you can ( I did ) ! , I would get the silicone one from Walmart that way if you loose it it’s ok. I know some people place them around their neck ( on a chain ) I wouldn’t recommend that because you will be running, climbing, crawling… All the best to you on your journey 🥰
Could you comment the “degrading” things they woild say? Our personality are similar i am quite bubbly as well. But i need this to workout far me. I have nothing to fall back on. Now i am nervous..lol

It's a mix, I would recommend bringing as much as you can from home .

Yes make sure they match your hair color ( so not white or blonde pins if you don’t have that color hair )

I would keep it
