Both have a dark sound signature, the shures pack a more punchy bass to me with better mids.

I like the kz cable.. Especially the 90˚ connection.. but i dont like how it easy tie….

Shure is embarrassing, this isn't even the best sounding IEM for KZ and it's still beating Shure Low difficulty.

idk what does kz do in lab, some type of witchcraft , How on earth these compete with more than 4 times of the price earphones, and performs better

No thats a lie. I have bunch of KZs and they have been working fine for years. Cables die of course but the new KZ cable seems solid and durable the pvc one.

Shure's SE 215 almost muddy sounding. KZ ZSN PRO has more open sound and nicer Bass imo.
I have both IEMs and the SE215 doesn't even come close

I received my Pro X today. Go for the pro X ! The couple bucks for the new drives are worth it !
Well the ZSN Pro X is newer. What these companies do with iterations of a certain product line is that they adjust to what's acceptable or demanded in the market.
So get the Pro X for me.
I own one and for the price you'll get a good detail & technicality, proper amount of bass that's not overpowering and leaving decay. But that is if you have the unit burned in, probably after 1 week of normal to frequent usage.

I know in the beginning it can sound really harsh and peaking in treble, bass is a bit weird so the whole thing might sound a little weird. But my trick was to lower the volume when I'm listening to something or EQ if I can and when I'm not in front of my computer, and do other things that don't require listening to music about 6-9PM, I leave it playing music in my computer in a normal to slightly loud volume. Or I let it play through phone when I listen to something on my computer using other earphone/headphone if you have other pair.
Another trick is to use another eartips that eliminates sibilance/treble peak. Spinfit CP100, Spinfit CP145, RHA Dual Density are the three I tried and helped eliminate the treble peak.
When you get past that process, it sounds really good.
@@nuthinbutnikk17 I came from the KZ ES4 and it is for me better. Scibillance is a bit harsh sometimes but I'll se after some burn in !

I find comparing by alternating between short snippets works better than listening to the whole song with one pair before the other.
Kz sounds so low end. Shure much more rich sound!

the shure se215 is very muddy. many/most kz have trebel that's too spicy. now we can get iems way better sounding for only $20 eg. 7hz zero, moondrop chu, truthear hola, tangzu wan er etc. just commenting in case anyone in the future is thinking of getting any shure or kz iems.

Best description for the kz is sound like a transistor radio back in the day. Very artificial sound.
