I recommend the stim armor because it stim makes u immune to fire and everything else. You pop a stim and light 30 bugs without having to worry about dying.
Those couple extra seconds of stims have saved me a number of times lol
Pyromaniac medic is the main loadout I use. It may not be the most effective but it's badass
You should try jetpack when using flamethrower. Actually keeps you from catching fire more than the shield. Plus you can jump over or out of areas full of fire

I use Supply Backpack and just don't walk into my fire. Flames everywhere
Plus, you can dive to immediately stop burn damage
Pyro from TF2 also hast a jetpack.
Ever since the burn buff - I put myself a pyro kit as well.
Cool tip, if a breach opens (find the source) Napalm strike it >> Incendiary Mines on top of it (or really close) It does wonders.

I’d recommend running groundbreaker armor due to the helm having a gas mask and the engineering kit buff, giving you more grenades.
Been repping the flamethrower since before the buff, and I'm so happy they decided to properly buff it. Actually feels like you make a difference now, instead of JUST looking cool.

I don't run a full pyro build, but I do run the incendiary grenade against bugs and I love it. If you throw it on an early bug breach you can clear a lot of squishies without firing (ha) your gun. Or, if the enemies end up in a line while following you, you can just throw it into them and keep walking as they all file through it.
It should be mentioned first and foremost that you need to be host for this kind of DoT build to work.

Not yet but it's on their list of known issues....so in due time!
A cool alternative to this is a flame laser build, swap the shield pack for the guard dog rover and the incineraty mines for the orbital laser, and the auto pistol for the laser pistol (it's actually quite good when you shoot at what the guard dog is shooting at) all that and you got an insane trash clear build that can handle even the largest of targets
My all fire build vs bugs: Medic heavy armor, Flamethrower, Incendiary Breaker, Revolver(Changing it for grenade pistol with new Warbond). Incendiary grenades, Orbital Airburst (Good vs eggs and breaches) and the Autocannon Turret for help vs harder targets and as a distraction. Lastly I bring the LASER guard dog. It helps so much with jumping Hunters and when you need to move and have stuff after you.

For anyone wondering arrowhead just fixed the damage overtime bug so this is actually an incredibly viable load out
I put together a similar load out. Incendiary breaker, single shot pistol, flamethrower and Jetpack. Also napalm strike. I call in the Mandalorian loadout 🔥

I personally use a Naplam + Gas combo it gets me x20 kills no problem the highest I've gotten is x50

This is and has been my loadout since unlocking. Only thing i suggest is light armor with engineer or med bonus and swap the shield for the jet pack for those times of getting trapped. And i usually run the scythe for the range.
There should be a war bond with it all being fire themed, more advanced flamethrowers, more fire based stratagems, and definitely an armor set that makes you resistant or immune to fire
This is me, flame grenades as well so good for crowd control and also viable for chargers etc
You can dramatically reduce the spread of your shotgun by aiming down sights. Effective for taking out brood commanders, 4-5 shots to the head and it pops off, then u just run away while it bleeds.

my favorite combo was a jet pack and flamethrower, while its not that much more effective flying away but it's cool factor is far more fitting
Personally I like the jetpack more than the shield back pack the jetpack helps with movement and spacing where the shield needs to be hit to be useful if you just don’t get hit then you don’t need a shield 😂
They super buffed fire damage a couple days ago, so of course it's good now.
I like using the jump pack with the flamethrower, I call it the "Jack Rabbit"
Can you do a storm/fog load out build? I was thinking poison gas air drop, some smoke artillery or smoke air drop. And the lighting tower. And arc thrower to finish off the storm/Fog build.

The incendiary grenades are great for dealing with bug breaches. Just toss two of them onto one breach and you are almost done with it. I run a similar Build Like this but with the grenade pistol as a secondary and either the railcannon strike, Orbital Laser or Eagle 500kg instead of the mines. Very effective Loadout against bugs.

Idk if you knew this already but I’m answering your stalker best question. There can in fact be two stalker lairs in a map at the same time. I’m not very sure about 3 though. I did not watch the entire video at this point but whatever lol. I hope this helps!
Keep in mind burn and gas effects does not work correctly if you're not the host. If you notice your burns aren't killing enemies you'll know why. Very strong build for adds.

I don't get kills with neither gas strike or the burn from flame grenades, napalm etc. As a host, they do tremendous damage.
guard dog rover is good too. You kill the bug before they can hit you.

When I run this loadout the shield pack gets swapped out for a supply pack as the flamethrower tends to run out of fuel rather quickly.

I’ve been looking for a build like this for the pyro achievement to kill 100 enemies with fire dmg. My main problem has been burning myself when I get charged or leapt on
You don't need a full build, you can do it with just the flamethrower. You just have to focus on clearing the chaff, as opposed to targeting any bigger enemies.

I actually run this build but I use the jet pack I’ve had a lot of success on high difficulty

I get that you picked the Napalm strike for thematic reasons but other than that I don't think there is much reason to take it if you can take the Eagle 500kg or the Orbital Laser instead. It would make more sense if there was armour with fire resistance or maybe a flame thrower exosuit (they are immune to fire damage) but mechanically, Napalm Strikes are just mediocre stratagems. Setting everything on fire is not necessarily and advantage as it creates as much issues for the Helldivers as for their opponents.
Incendiary Mines are a straight up bad stratagem, but you seem to be aware of that anyway.

In helldivers 1, we had a mech with a flamethrower arm and a tank cannon for the other arm. Fingers crossed it gets added into the game!
Drop that energy shield! Throw on heavy armor with extra grenades, rover back pack or supply, and contact incendiaries. Your a one man army.

Some feedback for you. You have a solid presentation voice and good pacing on topics.
However, you mispronounced “incendiary” a few times (the D isn’t silent like Django) and you said that the Incendiary Breaker had its pellet count buffed, which is incorrect. Its damage per pellet was buffed from 15 dmg/pellet to 20dmg/pellet.
I’m only saying this because as a viewer these things turned me off. I’m less likely to watch more content if I feel that it’s wrong or misinformed.

And this is why I am voting for classes. Or at least for armor that give bonus to certain equipment. We have armor that reduces recoil, why not something that benefits fire.

More armor effects add helmet effects
Add cape effects build your class that way.
To build on this fire resistance armor with a helmet that makes flames last longer or burn brighter and the cape sets ablaze just to scare those bugs

I prefer las dog to help kill the swarms/not be hit in back and Stuns w flamethrower are goated stun charging charger then melt
I just didn’t see much use with the guard dog since the flame thrower can melt everything in a few second and the same thing chargers as long as you focus only one leg they should drop very quickly
