I use scroll down to tag things, old habit from Vermintide, let me use q for stims as well, definitely a change I'd recommend.
If you have a 4 man team you can use any weapon as long as you bring the right strats
Facts. I unironically run the spear because we run quasar cannon, laser cannon, grenade launcher, and me with the spear. My job is fabricators tower turrets and the odd hulk and tank that the quasar dummy can’t seem to hit

Using the Stalwart as a Primary and having a Dominator, Scorcher and now Eruptor as a special weapon is very nice. I've had a lot of success with it recently and it feels great. I usually run it in low RPM just to conserve ammo. When you're getting swarmed the higher fire rates can help, but it's uncommon for me to do so. Overall it's a good choice if you build around it.
Stalwart is a good choice when running eruptor. You just run the stalwart as your primary. Decide if you want to run supply pack or pup. Very solid when played that way! (and I was a Marine machinegunner, so I always want to make them work!) also, with engineer armor, taking a knee and ADS makes a giant diff

Damn I miss the Marines, Was Navy on a Gator Freighter, back when Westpac's were 10 months on average. Never lost a bar fight ever, even when the Carriers were in Port. Best thing about the Marines in a bar fight besides always winning, was they always carried away the casualties, be it fight or booze related, and when the SP arrived all they found was the other side the Marines left laying around bleeding.
this is an ideal set up. A lot of people will complain about the stalwarts armor penetration, but it excels in every other category. I always run a medium armor penetrating weapon like the dominator or the eruptor. I find that to be one of the best combos in the game right now.
So IMO, the Stalwart is one of the best primary weapons in the game, for the bugs. Hear me out,
After the breaker nerf, I would use the Stalwart as my primary and use the Breaker as my sidearm basically. In situations where I was low on ammo, switch to the breaker.
I also bring an EAT and a backback rover, as the rover just helps manage bugs so well and pins down hive guards so you can get to the side of them to kill them faster.
For my last spot, bring the orbital laser or railcannon for help with bile titans. Very fun loadout for me, at least. Just bug decimation.
I accidentally picked up a Stalwart and it saved my ass. The damn thing can clear mobs pretty quick.
Recoilless for me, don’t mind the quasar but with the automatons I came get 2/3 drop ships down in the time it takes the quasar to fire and cool down, the big plus with the quasar is you don’t need ammo, but when I run recoilless I hunt down ammo so I’m normally fully stocked
Stalwart is excellent against bugs because there is a lot of fodder that you need to deal with. Armor is less of an issue because most light to medium enemies have exposed weak points that just spraying on their direction will hit. It’s only the Charger and Titans that you’re gonna use heavy and stratagems against anyways.
I haven't seen the rocket sentry in so long I forgot I had an involuntary puke reaction to it.
The Stalwart was my first Love, but i had to switch to the Quasar cannon. Just blasting away for 40 seconds was awesome.
Stalwart/Mg43 Eruptor Jetpack is one of my fav combo and the most fun i have had in this game.
With my machine gun builds I like to use the plasma shotgun as my AOE FAFO option. Havent tried eruptor yet, but will give it a shot when I can. I definitely bring the ammo pack though to keep myself up on ammo.
Just take eruptor whenever you can, get Stan grenades, and a stalwart with heavy armor for those recoil stats. Just use eruptor for closing bug holes and destroying medium armor. This is perfect build for that tank in one group who manages to kill everything in helldive, but the strongest enemies
The stalwart is my standard loadout against bots. It’s a great weapon. Lots of ammo, high fire rate, can take down all, but the heaviest armored enemies less recoil. Great weapon.
Well it depends on your main weapon. The stronger main weapon you use, the weaker support weapon you can carry.
The Stalwart is a good weapon. I just prefer on Charger Control duty, if no one else bring a rocket launcher type weapon.
I agree heavy’s are more of an issue then all of the regular bugs. Primary weapons can take care of them maybe not as fast as the stalwart but they can barely do anything to chargers and bile titans (some of them can tho)

my loadout on helldive : eruptor, stalward, stun grenade, laser dog, orbital rail cannon. 110mm eagle pods
I use the stalwart and the supply pack so I can have ammo or stems in case, I'm not where near teams while enemies chase after me.
This weapon is fun for bugs, and a fun trade off with my Auto Cannon.
you can kill chargers with a single shot of the eruptor. Feels like playing the lottery though most times itll take 4-5 shots to the ass to kill one
When playing with a LMG Stalwart, your main target is flocks of hunters and other crowds of small bugs, up to a warrior. Destroy larger targets using the eruptor/dominator. It will depend on the situation and team composition whether to focus your fire on the Hive Guard / Brood Commander / Spewer or the hunter packs.
To fight chargers I like to use the EAT-17, it has a reasonable cooldown, quite often you can kill a charger by attaching a blue beacon to its back, and then fire two shots at another charger or titan. But you need to be careful not to be pushed away from the thrown LMG, otherwise it will be difficult to fight with the hunters.
I also like Redeemer for self-defense in close combat, when the LMG has run out of ammo and there is no time to reload, or you are using a grenade launcher, and the hunter is trying to get a taste of democracy.
How did you get the 110MM by default?
Every now and then the game will give you a certain stratagem to use and it doesn't count towards you the ones you picked out

Bring the EAT. I run the stalwart, supple pack, EAT, and then rail cannon or cluster bomb or whatever. I call down the eat when I get to objectives or big holes
How do you deal with all the armoured enemies though? 2 EATs is only enough for 2 chargers or 1 bile Titan. Even on difficulty 7 I’ve seen 2 bile titans + 1 charger spawn from a single bug breach.

I just hit level 10 and the Stalwart is my main. Need to get higher rank for the rest of the cool stuff.
They need a explosive damage lmg that can be reloaded while running.
Still cant drop the autocannon for anything else. 😅
take EAT and only 1 eagle.
try dominator, uzi, EAT, stalwart or mg, and supply backpack
I feel like the Autocannon makes every primary weapon obsolete.
I actually prefer using the slowest RPM for the Stalwart - I used to run it at max RPM but just blew through ammo and really overkilled a lot of little guys. The slowest RPM is much more measured imho, esp against Scavengers and Hunters hopping around.
Stalkers gets the Full service.
0:35 the rocket pods can't deal with anything because they never hit anything.
They can be hard to land sometimes but you just have to throw them somewhat close to your target
He keeps saying the stalwart kills stalkers fast while he has the erupted which 1shots them
LOL, that's like me with the bile titans "WHY WON'T YOU DIE!?!?" always takes so much to kill them for whatever reason... Also, I never used the missile pods before this but I heard so many people hype them up, but whenever I try it never seems to kill anything...

I personally hate the Stalwart. Damage feels so low and light armor pen past challenging doesn't cut it. I'll stick to the MG-43
I was thinking the same thing. Sickle small guys easy enough and regular mg anything mid sized plus not stuck with only an eruptor at close range engagements though not to bad since you got the secondary but still.
If the laser dagger was actually good I would contemplate an eruptor dagger build. Kinda feel like dagger should just have infinite fire at such a low damage hold the trigger and aim otherwise it needs some buffs.
i would rather swap weapons to the eruptor to take out brood commanders and hive guards than have to sit still and reload the MG-43 while im being swarmed by hunters. The higher damage is nice sometimes though

That’s true but I’m not sure how many shots it’ll take or how long because then you have to worry about not getting jumped by hunters or other bugs
Stalwart (RPMS set to 1150), supply pack, orbital rail cannon strike, 500KG and light armor with a run speed of 550? The most BROKEN build in the game. You literally have an answer for EVERYTHING and are extremely mobile. Back that up with your incendiary shotgun and thermal grenades and the build is literally fucking broken.
I would use the stun grenades instead. But everything else is 👌🏼
I tend to do Stalward, supply pack, Rail strike and laser, same light armour.
I use the Sniper primary that fires explosives (works amazing with the stalwart) and grenades change on the mood :D

It’s a good build but it’s not broken. no build is broken if playing solo helldive with any build you will always struggle
without watching, short answer . yes. medium pen good ammo. kills bugs good. suppressed groups of bots good.

Stalwart is not a machine gun. It's not counted towards the machine gun order kill count.
It is a "machine gun" but is not THE Machine Gun. The personal order was referring to the one you start the game with.

It applies both to the initial machine gun and the heavy machine gun recently added. But not Stalwart.
BTW, I was able to complete this personal order with Mech drops.
Leave STALWART alone ! Its perfect for clearing.....it works !

Theyre bugs, pretty muxh everything is viable against them. Thats why most players fight them.
