    La Bonita and Gardenas should also definitely make that list. You can find all sorts of exotic tropical fruits like mamey sapotes, lychees, Jack fruit, guanabana (soursop), small green mangoes, yellow and red dragonfruits, tamarind pods, etc.

    THANK YOU! I can't believe the timing of this video. I've been dying to try more tropical fruits and have been trying to find a store in Vegas that has them just through reviews and photos. I had already planned to drive up there tomorrow from AZ and now I know where to go.

    Trader Joe's organic fruits and vegetables are always overall far cheaper than Sprouts. As for tropical fruits, I'll give you that, but overall Sprouts is high priced.

    John is pesticide or commercial fertilizer a concern for the tropical fruit?

    • @okraw
      @okraw  Před 2 lety +2

      Almost impossible to find tropical fruits that are certified Organic. I choose to eat small quantities of this conventional fruit. Some are irradiated, that I explained, that I avoid. I eat tropical fruits in small quantities so I do not believe any sprays or about the fertilizer used are worse than not eating small amounts of tropical fruits for nutrient & fiber variety. . I believe it would be better to eat more diversity even if not all organic. When organic options exist, I generally purchase. In some cases some tropical fruits may be sprayed less. Just depends.

      Many can be irradiated. Irradiated food is not healthy in my opinion, but each person needs to do their own research.

    @ 8:12 look at his hand this man is not healthy. I know because when I was plant-based my skin got bad like that but when I switched to animal-based my skin cleared up. No hate on you but you might want to try animal-base it definitely heals.
