An impressive addition! A larger denomination issue, featuring a clear, well-struck portrait of the king, and an issue from his "declaration" series... as a collector of Charles' coins, I'm a little envious!

I have lots of Charles' I coins But i don't have this, Which sucks because its a lovely coin, But now i'm aware of it, It won't be long before i add one to my hammered coins collection, Your a lucky to of found it in such good condition...

Yes! A known die variety for shillings produced at the Oxford mint. Bristol declaration next for me I think 🤔
