ok so.... how do I get to where YOU started? I'm looking at a blank blue Ensemble screen and when I load a synchron player it does nothing. Dude, you have GOT to upload a REAL tutorial.

Yes, I agree. I came here because I wanted to see how to get started, which I couldn't figure out from just looking at the interface, but I don't have any of the stuff up that he has right at the beginning! And it is unobvious how to get ant of this.

I've been messing around all evening trying to get the Synchron player installed and working and can't even get it to load or play my downloaded instruments. There's no explanation in the video about how to actually do this!

I could sucessfully acitvate the iLok license for the Bosendorfer Imperial, and got it into the Synchron piano Player. There are three problems. One is that there is no audio coming the Instrument whenever I press a key. Two is that the Vienna Synchron Player doesn't respond to my Keyboard. And three, it doesn't integrate into Tracktion Waveform. Is there a solution for this?

Hi Alain, check out our online manual for some basic information. Thread distribution is always a dynamic process, so you'll have to find the right settings for your system in any case. The default settings are usually fine!

So I've already written some music in Finale... would I be able to play that music with VSL instruments in some way? I just don't want to rewrite everything and I'm new to this

Hi, please help me. First of all thanks 4 giving BBO 4 free. I purchased a Steinberg key, followed all da steps, installed VSL Synchron player n yet I get no sound out of it. Synchron opens but no sound comes out, I've been 3 hours installing and reading all of this, my head aches, I feel frustrated, I thought it was going 2 be worthed all da effort but I can't make it work, it is too complicated. I don't know about the audio device preferences (so many options, none of them work), neither about the "volume scan paths" wathever they might be. Please help me to make a use of it. Thanks

If not all my Vienna libraries don´t show up in the Factory folder? Ps. I clicked + and I thought I added the libraries but they still didn´t show up.

In Theorie all fine but it doesnt work that easy in real life and the Support is a nightmare!! I waited days to get an ackward respond. had to quit them

Nothing shows up in mypreset, patches, mixer lists. I don't know how to get anything to show up either. Under factory it just says default and that's it. My library shows that the folders with all the sounds are part of the library. But nothing is there and it doesn't seem like there is anything to do to get them to show \up.

Rescaling size doesnt work. Instruments dont load for no reason , Support only via mail - up to 2 Days waiting for response. 1 Day is normal.

glitches audio no mater what setting i try. I have a i 9 proccessor with 32 g of ram and a 2060 graphics card is that not good enough.... what the heck man i just spent all this money ... i optimised my pc... what do i need a 5000 dollar graphics card

Why won't Vienna Synchron Player work on Windows 7?
Win 7's lifecycle ended in Jan 2020 - meaning we can no longer develop/test for a Windows version Microsoft no longer supports. Windows 8.1's lifecycle ends in a few months. Best, Andreas/VSL

According to my knowledge, the life cycle will end at the end of 2026. Windows 7 updates are still arriving for enterprise-registered computers. I often connect such updates, sometimes several times a month. Perhaps the reason is that this is an additional burden for you?

I spent thousands on Orchestral tools and Spitfire, UJAM, NI etc and decided to give this a go in PT. I work in the industry and this player is not as intuitive as others and in the end I just said adios.
Awful software. As a newbie you follow the installation of the player and activation of downloaded content. Then nothing shows up in the player? Where the hell is it? No intuitive gui like Kontakt. Spending an age trying to find a way to load some content and this vid is no help either. At the point of uninstalling and ditching this crap! Terrible software!
