      @@miguelangelfernandezalvare1053 Yes you can simply remove them by hand from below the fairing... but to replace them is difficult as you are going by feeling. The retaining clips are difficult to locknas it hurts your fingers. I could not do it... that is why I removed everything.

    Hi Gert.
    Great video. Do you know if there is an adjustment for the headlights? Both my headlight globes blew (apparently common) and was replaced by the dealer with H1 globes. Unfortunately my lights don't shine the same and the bright's don't show. The lights are useless know and the dealer just shrugs it off.

    • @gangelbright
      @gangelbright  Před rokem

      Hi there. Yes there are adjustment screws on the back of the light housing. I park the bike on the centre stand and shine the lighs on the wall and draw a line wih chalk through the spots where the lighrs are shining.... I then adjust it and do a test ride at night to judge the difference. if you lie under the bike you will see them .. plastic. My previous Maxsym (2015 model, blew headlight globes all the time.... no idea why?) My 2017 model has no issues with lights. PS:The two lights adjust individually snd the dim bright function works with a tilt mechanism which covers more or less of the globe when switching between dim and bright ie the globe itself does nothing. You bike shop sounds incompetent. If they are SYM agents, report them to SYM SA. Regards Gert

      @gangelbright  Před rokem

      I think the dealer during dissasembly must have fiddled with and disconnected the tilt mechanism responsible for the dim/bright function. You should hear the tilt action if you switch between dim and bright. You can also see it tilt when you look at the light switching.

      @@gangelbright I understand that the mechanic changed the globes from underneath without taking the covers off. The tilt mechanism is in its position at dim, then moves up when changing to bright's. Even though I don't have proper lights anymore, the dealer has said that they have done all they can, and won't change anything further. I have contacted SYM/KMSA to take it further.

      I agree. I suppose if you are flexible enough with small hands and fingers of steel , you can do it without removing the fairing... but I tried...
