I tired to do something very similar as Luxemburg. Was going great until Germany ran a "Liberate Luxemburg" war goal against France, won the war, and kicked me out of the French market. I went from world's highest GDP to complete failed state overnight.

Unfortuneately what generally happens; because a frontline can only have one battle per frontline, is that a more populous nation takes your side and floods your frontlines with cheap worthless troops that get priority over yours, letting the enemy walk straight to your capital with your army never getting to fight
Hey man! You can try changing game settings at the start and set "formable nations" to any(real or fictional). You can form Benelux or united South America. I tried to do the latter, but at that point game lagged a bit too much). Although it could have been from a mod...

Around 20:30 or so, you wait until right before the war escalates to the last phase before adding war goals. If you notice, it says escalation is paused for 25 days after adding the goals, so that exploit doesn't work.

If you start as France, this strategy is even more powerful. From the beginning of the game you can get max universities and start with public schools.
Watching this makes me wish my pc could run this game so I could try to create a completely anarchist society

Same kinda. I have the game and my pc can handle it until 1880 then everything goes to shit. So anarchy has been kinda impossible to form
Turned the US into an Anarchist Syndicate then a Communist country (with a Red Army and all) and the economy was GLORIOUS.
not having the game myself ive been wanting to see what is the sprite for a mechanized army so i would love to see a second video focused on showing what is a full teched army

@@ulharr when you zoom into a battle you get to see the “battle” if you have machine gunners you’ll be attack from a “machine gun nest”

For what it's worth, playing a Bukhara, conquering your two neighbors nearby, and becoming the Opium supplier of Russia gives you a SoL of at least 30 by 1900. Basically what happened here but with drugs

Hi I live near the oldest airstrip in Belgium. It was build/ used in 1906, so you're a good 20 years earlier!

having extra work slots when you need pops from immigrantioj is great as when there's too many slots, factories will increase wages to fight for pops, this means that with better wages, sol increases and with it the immigrants attraction also increases
Finishing off this playthrough and showing the might of the Belgian Big Brains to the rest of the world, would be pretty cool.

2 tips - too much money but not enough people ? Bankroll smaller countries into anexation or big players into aliance then leverage their military to conquer Africa/Vietnam (always max colonial affairs)
or just pass multiculturalism. Secondly peasants don't migrate so if he didn't care about his colonies, he could just mass build the farms in the colonies and empty out the peasants.
I'm looking forward to a universal expansion across Europe, be it in segments or in one full video, I'd love to see Europe United under 1 flag, or however much you can control as fast as possible.

LoL, I did something like this with Canada when the game game out. My biggest problem was I couldn't build fast enough to handle all the emigration. I finished the military tech tree before 1900 and nothing could stop me.

technically there is no "hard cap" in research, since any innovation over the cap is applied to technology spread at 20% of the ammount. But even so, that may not always be applicable.
