The endurance pro are phenomenal watches. Expensive but so worth it. Bought the blue and then an orange. Lightweight, very comfortable and super quartz just grab it and go. Very robust having the breitlight case. Albeit most say it’s just a plastic watch. Quartz used to reduce weight and thickness. Only drawback is battery last a max of 2-3yrs and £180 to service and replace.
Breitling for the cool factor. But TAGHeuer F1 for the heritage (and cool) factor. Fun fact - F1's used to be plastic watches too, just like the Endurance Pro.
The TAG has a Ronda movement. I believe it’s 15 jewels, and a variant of the 5040.D. It’s fully serviceable and repairable, has an EOL indicator for when the battery gets low (which should be about three years). Fun fact: Ronda has all the tech specs and service information on their website for each movement they make. I’ve had great luck with all mine. The ETA movement in the Breitling a lot more expensive than the Ronda in the TAG.
The Breitling is NOT a sports watch and NOT durable. Mine has always fallen off my wrist whenever I do anything remotely active. The buckle has flex in it so the pin pings out very easily, then, when it fell off on a road the buckle rear bar snapped off completely. It is not metal but some sort of composite, so breaks. If you call Breitling they just tell you to read the warrenty which excludes the strap and buckle. Charming. Buy the Tag.
Those are fun colors, and it's fun to watch the tenth-second counters spin. I've not seen that on a chronograph before-is it particular to quartz chronographs?
I do like HAQ movements, but considering size and cost might prefer the Tag. It looks like the Breitling has a compass bezel-does it function as a compass?
Tag looks better here in my opinion.
does the breitling have a stainless steel case back.
I just looked at one and it appears to be the same Breitlight material as the case.
Breitling it seems like over priced on that category
good
I would expect solar power at this price point. I find these watches gaudy and unnecessary additions to otherwise successful product ranges. Obviously they have some commercial success, but neither works for me. Sorry Brad, have a good week, Bob 🍻
Strap length alone is a major putdown.
Who wears these, 800 lb gorillas?
Proper men
You can swap out the straps. I took the Breitling strap off mine, as it’s too stiff. Even tried shaping it and it’s not very pliable.
A tachymeter is the most useless feature on a watch. Yellow dial AND yellow band = too much yellow: Brietling wins
What are you talking about. Literally the most useful chronograph complication
@evanhartwig2849 not a single owner of a tachymeter has ever used it to calculate speed, none: 0%
@@LIONTAMER3D what are you the spokesperson for all chronograph owners?
