I love that we initially see him as a chill, laidback Texan with a knack for engineering, then we zoom out and find he's a sadist who is burning a body for a campfire
You'd look untouchable on Engie, too, if you were against such opponents as a soldier who thinks the best way to fight you is to get within 12 feet of you and your sentry.

the engineer literally motivated me to study science more, I went from 50 - 60% last year to 80 - 90% this year

I love seeing stuff like this. An engineer surrounded by turrets calmingly playing the acoustic guitar as war ensues around him. Animations like these are why I chose to become an artist.

I love how every merc in TF2 is a literal stereotype of their country. I also love how simple the characters seem at first glance but they have entire backstories and such. Engie's the best tho

i dont think its just that these are so well-made and high quality. i think what also makes these so great is how faithful they are to the actual gameplay. all of these are surprisingly accurate and really dont show anything you cant do in-game

The Engineer is so calm and sophisticated and he is arguably the sanest character in TF2.

BECAUSE I'M BATMAN! Well I'm no psychologist but I would say hallucinations that severe are sure signs of not being mentally well, so I doubt the Pyro is sane.
In the comics, where we get to see the everyone's personality at little clearer, we see that off the battlefield all of them are pretty laid back, and Heavy is actually pretty smart too.
But I always tend to see Spy as the sanest man in the comics, because he's so sarcastic and to-the-point XP
