What I really liked about this video was how you really spoke about it as a WORLD war. Too often I feel as though general summaries of the world wars oversimplify it to the point where they only talk about the european countries involved. It really did involve and affect a huge percentage of the world and I appreciate how you at least BROUGHT UP the african combatants.

the triple entente was an alliance that had a very clear agreement regarding the balkans, in fact both austria and italy had interests in the balkans and the pact obliged the country that started a war in the balkans to have the consent of the other allies ... when Austria declared war on Serbia it asked Germany, but not Italy... Italy considered this not only a violation of the pact that freed Italy from all obligations, but also a reason for resentment in comparisons with them! therefore Italy not only changed sides with a valid reason... but also had valid reasons to later go to war against Austria!

I believe that if the war crossed over into Switzerland that the Swiss would have had no choice but to get involved. Switzerland was very lucky. The Axis powers had no intention of respecting Belgium or Luxembourg that said they would remain neutral, and I believe that they would have gone into Switzerland if it meant easier access to France.
Switzerland participated in helping wounded World War I soldiers. I believe they helped both sides with this. And I think that the Swiss would have jumped into the ranks of the allies had the Axis powers invaded... which I believe was going to happen at one point?

I am from Moldova, my Grandpa told us, that when he was on first line of battle on W.W. 1 and meet face to face with a soldier opponent, and raise the sword to kill him; that man said: "Brother, do not kill me, because my wife and my children are waiting for me at house." When he heard that, the sword fell down from his hand. When he was returning home, he was living in a village and a she dog with two puppies big as her, meet him at the border of village territory. She was very happy and welcomed him as good as she could, but the puppies did not knew him because they were born after he went to war. So, they were barking at him and were angry with him, but their mum the she dog stopped them and bite them. When Grandpa saw that even a dog was waiting for his master, and is so happy when he returned, his eyes were in tears, because many which were waited of their lovers will never return.

Then when you talk about German collapse, it didn't happen on the Western front, it happens after the breakthrough of the Salonica Front (Thessaloniki), de facto destroying Bulgarian and Austro-Hungarian armies capacities, prompting Germany to negotiate an armistice!
