You can make the decay NON see through by just sandwiching 2 pixel layers INSIDE the vector layer ...( nest them).... then erase the middle layer....it will leave you with an opaque layer behind it ..making it not see-through

Mask layers conceal the layer ...mso to make a matching color UNDER the layer....the easiest thing to do is make a rectangle underneath....nd use the color picker tool to match the color u want it to be....and then fill it with the color. Then when u use the mask layer on the top layer ...what will show through is the same color as the top
