Nista! Your simplicity in instructions is so appreciated. For at least a month, while I've been waiting on my glycerine shipment, I've been struggling to find instructions that made sense to me. Today, after a failed gelli plate making event...I searched again and there you were! Your manner, style and artwork are a breath of fresh air. Thank you for sharing what you do. Finally I can create on a gelli plate! Thank you.
wonderful! thank you for sharing Rachel 💛
I am SO stoked! I was about to give up after about 25 tries. No good. Then i changed acrylics, used Amsterdam and voila, super success immediately!
What a fantastic tutorial - thank you Nista
Nitsa, thanks you for this clear practice lesson!

This was such a great tutorial video, wow the instruction was so easy to follow & the results from the technique amazing ! The gelli plate making demo again seemed so straightforward & the two options brilliant, before in videos I have watched the process seemed somehow more complicated. Thank you for sharing & teaching us about this!

New here, just bought my first gelli plate and then I hear a lady say homemade...I found you. Oh how wonderful you are! Thank you
Thanks you. Your tutorials are excellent❤
This is really nice. I particularly like the plate texture on the number image. It’s not so much a journal as a 1/1 artist’s book 😊Thanks!
Thank you. I really enjoyed this video. I like the way you are straight to the point with no unnecessary chatter. His is the easiest demo for making a gell plate. Others have made it look so complicated I've subscribed and will certainly watch more. Thanks again.

What a fantastic idea! And I didn't realise that you could just sub agar agar for gelatin - I've been trying to find a recipe for weeks!

I really enjoy your work
I appreciate that! 🧡💜💛
Thank you for this video.
🌹🤗
Your art is beautiful ❤
🥰
I think my home made agar agar gelli plate has an edge over the commercial ones.
You got a nice result with your plate.
My plate has survived being out of fridge in warm conditions for at least a year though I confess to not having used it for some time.
Thank you Chris 🥰 I agree and also love the results I get from my homemade plates, they are more grungy looking. Same here, I've never kept my homemade gel plates in the fridge. I store them in a box in a room temperature, and they are just fine!
Thanks for an awesome video❤️💯👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
fantastic video and I enjoy your channel very much. I love your accent too
Thank you so much 😀

Excellent tutorial! Not long and drawn out like other gelli plate tutorials. Sweet, short, simple: perfect!
You're very sweet, thank you so much! 💛🧡
Thank you such a great informative video were those paper machine copies ❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍
Glad you liked it 🥰 I use laser prints but toner base photocopier works fine too.
Thanks for adding the vegan option for making the gel plate. What kind of material does the mold need to be? That last print was gorgeous!
The mold can be hard plastic, glass, aluminum etc, probably anything that can hold hot liquid. Thank you 🥰
You are So creative, Inspiring
מתגעגעת המון!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Would really have loved a close up but a clever interesting technique indeed. Well done 👍
Thank you 🥰 maybe a future new & better video 🤔
Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial! Excellent demonstration.👏👏👏 I have a question. How do you clean the gel between paint applications?
I made a gel plate using knox gelatin it has an odor from the gelatin. I'm going to make one using agar agar. Thank you for sharing.
What size spoons did you use? She doesn't say teaspoon, dessertspoon or tablespoon but clearly it will make a difference.
Wonderful :)))
🤗🌹
So nice! Does it have to be laser printed or inkjet work as well?
Very cool and thank you for the vegan 🌱 version!
Glad you like it! thank you Lillian 💛
I absolutely love this and wish I could get it to work. I printed on my printer, applied acrylic paint and then image. I have not been able to get a print on my plate. So sad because this is awesome.

Beautiful work? Thank you! How do you get the printer to print the pictures out so dark ? What printer do you have? And what kind of brayer do you use? soft rubber?
Fabulous...thanku for sharing...i am new to this....can this printing be done on canvas as well....?
Hi Nitsa. It’s Avram from Karmiel, here. I hope you are doing well and able to stay dry in LA with all that rain you folks have received. A question: my wife does a lot of furniture art along with other mixed media art projects. She is going to make her own gelli plate’s based on the instructions in this video to use along with stamping and stenciling. What is the best way to store them? What containers should be used and any other pertinent details would be appreciated. Many thanks and stay dry.
Hi Avram, thank you! I store my homemade gel plates in a wooden box ( I suppose a plastic container should be okay as well) with printer papers separating in between the plates. Please stay safe 🇮🇱 and hopefully we will have a better year 🙏
Amazing info. One question. So if I would like to make a bigger gel plate, like a4, then will that be double everything, like 4 spoons of agar agar, 1 cup glycerin and 2 cups of water and boil them together for 3-4 minutes? Thank you.
Great tutorial! How do you clean the gel plate?
What type of paper is your journal? How are you getting the pages to dry flat? Amazing work! Thank you for the inspiration. So mad at myself, I JUST got rid of a brayer I’ve had sitting here for more than 50 years doing nothing in a drawer.
Thank you so much for sharing. It is expensive to buy one so will definitely try one. May I ask you for how long it will last, please? How can I store it so it doesn't get damaged, please? Do you clean it with baby wipes?
Superb👍what kind of paint you using on it? Thanks
Looks amasing! Is it possible to use ink printers?
Great Nitsa. Very useful y complete materials, instructions and samples 👍
What about the cleaning of gel plate? How do you clean it after using colors.
Thank you! I wipe the plate clean with baby wipes in between prints and every now and then I soak the plate a little in warm water and a few drops of soap.
To keep plate from drying rub some baby oil on it every now and again
