Mad respect. If I am not mistaken you went on Below Deck to get money to repair Parlay. No idea how you tolerated those clowns. You could have been like others on CZcams who hit their fans up when they need money or a new boat. You are the man.

@@willsmith2041 Despite the 'WE BROKE UP' title, it's not until half way through that the 'boat story' switches to the 'living the dream story' with which the beautiful Martina was an inextricable part. The boat story attracts the would be sailors on a DIY budget ( My personal interest). For those dreamers out there, I myself have been in a 7 year ' living the dream ' story with a beautiful Filipina many decades younger than myself. Relationships in reality are written in blood ties, you have a relationship with your offspring and parents, what you may experience with others are quid pro quo 'companionships' and these are at the mercy of fickle nature - fair winds and foul. In time, mother nature changes our 'quid pro quo' perceptions and companions go their own way. Had the boat story not been punctuated with major holdups that necessitated working for a living to finance repairs, thus pushing the ' living the dream story ' into the doldrums, the companionship might have survived. The lesson for would be sailors, is BUYER BEWARE - get a survey done before you put an albatross around your neck.

@@chriscarr2648 thank you. I read that this morning on another video and it fits so well on this one I had to repeat it. I wondered where it came from.
I think his philosophy on living in the present may be a detriment to any future relationships because women are always planning and looking for the security of a relationship to fall back on when plans don't turn out. Living in the moment isn't very conducive to future security. But, wth do I know? It is more fun to live in the present for sure.

Sorry to hear your news but really pleased at your positive attitude. Everything happens for a reason, been told that by my parents since i was so young, never really understood until i have been through my life journey of ups and downs. I read that book, and it made a huge difference in the way I handled stressful situations, and my life in general. I, too firmly believe that all things happen for a reason. Panama is a beautiful country, and I hope to visit there again someday.
