    Beautiful fish, Cheerios that’s a fun treat for them. I’ll have to try that. Does your UV light indicator stay on 24/7. I just bought a filter like this for my pond. Upon hooking it up I noticed the light window I can see the light flickering, some times on for 30sec to minute then off for a good few minutes. I ordered more bulbs to give it a go before I complain about the filter.

    Question, doesn’t that introduce chlorine and wash away beneficial bacteria?

      It’s a 1300 gallon well established pond over 5 years old with beneficial bacteria in plenty of other places including the overflow box. But yes I wouldn’t recommend this if you have a small pond and that’s your only source of beneficial bacteria. Good point.
