You kicked ass on this build. Looks great! Can't wait to see it on the trails.
Best built I've seen so far
1:37 Spotted an alien on the bottom left on the screen. 🙂
Watching your videos you can really admire the care and attention you put into each of your builds.
That looks like it should be selling for 20k at my nearest motor sports shop. HOLY COW. It’s so beautiful
Dude, it looks so good. I like that you went with a two toned paint job and left the floor pans as they are. The craftsmanship you do in your garage is something I can only dream of. That's a badass machine.
Yes . that's bad ass . one of the best builds yet very nice
1- use good automotive primer, I use duplicolor. 2- light sand the primer 3- use whatever paint you want, I prefer regular rustoleum, its hella tough. 4- use 2k clear coat, not 2x! Eastwood and spraymax are good 2k's. This is since you love the cans so much...
14:09 that's exactly why I love your channel. "how in the world am I going to do this" not "this looks impossible, better give up"
16:22 I have never seen that much red loctite on a bolt in my life. You're gonna have to burn that thing to the ground to get that bolt off so you can actually pack grease in those axle bearings
haven t seen all your videos but what i like about your channel is that when you have finished a project you don t try to destroy the whole thing for klicks, only to show how you repair it again. is a lot of work guys so just be a little gentle
Congratulations!!!! You finished the megaproject! Thanks for best content, best ideas and best makes!!!
Great builds and always good to watch, don’t always believe what you read on spray cans those one coat solutions don’t always work out. my advice is always use a good etch primer on bear metal it’s more steps but it lasts longer against rust and is far more durable in the long term and helps with a good finish. keep up the good work 👍
I second this recommendation. Once you've used a true metal etching primer you'll never go back to the general purpose primer. Just be careful with that stuff on plastics. It'll turn it into a pile of steamy goo.
Out of all the CZcamsrs I think you are the best in skill you are great at what you do I see the hard worker you put in that Machine ‼️
The rear axle bearing should be packed with grease. Amazing build tho , i watch all you videos
I was thinking the same thing. He may have problems later on
Yup... Its tight but its not water tight. Hopefully he has a grease nipple on there and he just edited over that part. Otherwise...
DUN DUN DUNNNN.... LOL
My thoughts exactly. Looks great though bud. Best paint job yet. And, the engine's not smoking at all anymore - good deal!
I have commented on this twice in 2 separate videos. His little air cooled VW style oil slinger contraption isn't going to do a thing. He needs to find a way to install seals and pack it with grease. Its gonna fill up with sand, mud and all kinds of stuff, especially the first time he sinks the axle below water. All that work will be toast. He did and awesome job everywhere else, but his rear axles are full of fail.
Going to be fun taking it apart again too with the amount of locktite used!
I just completed a project yesterday building a bike trailer which took 2 days of welding fabricating grinding painting etc and on the last day I was mentally exhausted can’t imagine the time and effort this guy puts into his builds
Wow, that made a world of difference! A much needed facelift. Well done!
You're such a prolific builder. I enjoy each machine you construct. Hope you continue for the foreseeable future.
Perhaps the silver paint needs to be primered despite what they say.
ALL paint should use a primer no matter what the label says!
A self etching primer would be a good choice or an epoxy primer.
From the shine on the metal underneath, I would put some of the blame on prep. A good acid etch primer would have helped. Soap, water and Scotch Brite pads followed by immediate drying off would have done wonders.
@@Mekhanic1 jep he can put layer and layer on top of the silver and i will not stick, you have to prime
The steel needs blasting to give a good key for the paint to stick, home user etch is nothing more than tinted thinners and does nothing!
Very nice job with the paint....people don't understand the time and effort it takes to tear it apart and put it back together, not to mention all the time spent grinding and cleaning!!! Keep up the good work
this whole build was just wild. when you decided you were gonna build your own brakes and it worked i was blown away lol. good stuff man
It looks like it drove out of a very expensive production factory ! Excellent work bro, like very excellent !
One of the reasons i love your work, is the fact that you share your experience even when it is not really working.. and i just love your choice of music... this is one of my favorit channel.. you have my respects.. 😊 greetings from Denmark.
i use Krylon when i paint axles, and i found some stuff a few years ago thats almost as tough as a powder coat, its an enamel coating kind of paint, might be worth a shot on a future project, buggy looks sweet bro, this thing is a masterpiece and proof that a guy in his garage with a welder, some skill, and an idea of what he wants to do, can make something really cool and unique. keep on wrenchin' and god bless
Dude! You're a mad man! There is NO way I would have stripped it down that far! I respect your gumption sir!👍😂
Fantastic project mate!! And she looks brilliant in the colours you've chosen. Enjoy it's looks... then drive it... Love the way she lifts her nose on acceleration hahaha... perfect! Nice work!!
You sir are the king of welding. Amazing work.
Paint and electrical, two of my worst enemies
absolutely. I always mess up on paint and wiring
I can relate so deeply. Love Painting just not the prep
Powder coating isn't very expensive anymore at least where I'm at when you factor in your time to clean, prep, and paint plus most places warranty the powder coating at least for a little while
@@VasilyBuilds Hey Vasily! Good to see you, bro. I was just watching your latest video earlier today.
Oh I'm sure he'd rather be welding. Sorry. Couldn't help it!
I’m ready for a full send and see them kings do what they are made for!!
Awesome build!! What you do by yourself is truly amazing!! Love your videos keep up the good work!
Well done that is the best buggy you have done , so far , I'm sure there will be many more . Your lathe work is so good it must save you a fortune on parts ,& yours would be much stronger . The time you spend on your projects , I don't think you could put a price on them , because they are hand built , for that reason no one would pay what they are truly worth . You may have to build a bigger trailer to put it on so you can carry more stuff with you . Mate it's brilliant , you should be so proud of yourself . Job well done ! Mal
You said some time ago you would put bigger tires on it. We would all love to see that! Great build as always. Your channel is my favorite!
Nice job!! It looks really good. I love that you build a rotisserie for painting it. If you get some pistol grips for the paint cans, and heat up the paint in hot water, it goes on smoother and uses less paint.
You are a awesome mechanic. I want to be like you. Such craftsmanship
You did a great job on this project. Congrats and have fun!
Holy shot dude! Best build you’ve done so far no doubt! Super sick man!
Looks great!
I especially like how the two-tone color was a vibrant one on this build.
Hi mate, that silver needs to be painted over a black acrylic base coat in order for it to adhere properly, it also needs a good quality clear coat in order for it to shine and really pop in the sunlight.
Also just a suggestion, if you’re going to build a buggy like this in the future with a bike engine it may be a good idea to make a removable engine subframe so that you can lower the engine out of the frame.
Aside from this you’ve done an awesome job again.
Hey man! Fantastic video as per usual, you never fail to surpass my expectations. Your content inspires me to do more in the engineering community amongst many other viewers, thank you so much :)
Excellent job and craftsmanship. I'll be starting a new one in the spring and you've got me motivated, thanks.
It looks great! Thumbs up! I hope the paint holds up. Well Done!!
guauuu!!!!!! estoy tan emocionadao como vos, y sorprendido por el exelente resultado y todo hecho en tu garage!!!! eres un exelente constructor, que los disfrutes mucho!!!
Wow, fantastic end result! I know the feeling of not wanting to get your creation dirty. You'll get over it as soon as you hit the first puddle. That new camera slide device is pretty cool for those time lapse video segments. Looking forward to the next video!!
Brilliant work, your attention to detail is spot on!
You did a very good job Chris
I really enjoy watching you make everything from scratch.
love the paint
Great looking build. The paint job looks amazing and it looks wicked fast and super aggressive
Been watching your videos lately... Got to say some amazing skills you have cannot get enough of your builds
Nicely done. 2K catalysed clear is compatible with rustoleum. Durable but $22 a can
This buggy is turning into a beautyful beast! :D Great job mr. Welding! Its been fun following u from start to finish :)
The Buggy looks really good. Great Job with the painting.
It makes really fun to watch you working, maybe my next Projekt will also something driveable 🤔
Best build and video you’ve done yet. Great time lapse. Amazing results
It's amazing what a man with the right tools can accomplish! I bet you felt such a level of accomplishment. I've rebuilt a few yamaha banshees from the frame up. But this is a whole other level. Mad respect to you sir for the hard work, drive and passion. She looks great. The only thing I would personally would be seat belt harnesses.
A lot of work gets put into these vehicles and videos. Keep up the great work man. Loving the content!
My hat goes off to this guy for his hard work...
21:25 is cool but it would be a lot cooler with about 8" less headroom.
Ken Design I think it’s fine how it is. It’s just more room for the roof to cave in before it crushes his head
@@mefoy3766It won't cave in if it's 8" lower
Great job Chris! Looks awesome! Well done. 👍😁
Looks great! Best one yet but I love all you're other builds as well, keep up the good work
Professional job! Looks amazing
Followed it start to finish. Great build and inspiring.
Next project should be about the same...but jump on the LS bandwagon and build a v8 rail. Would be fun to watch you do that project and see your skills progressing.
Keep up the great work, love the channel!
awesome build man. love it, wish i could drive that thing aroujd in the desert here in so cal.
Amazing project! great work!
Wow! That looks amazing! That is the best looking crosskart, dunebuggy, offroad thingy, or what ever long ass name you call it! Now i know what colors ill use on my crosskart! thank you for doing this
the cleaning of all the steel before paint .... that has to be a form of hell
Great build, followed it from the beginning. Thank you
Love the paint job. Nice build
Looks incredible bud you have outdone yourself this time definitely a case of hard work paying off
Great job.. The build turned out nice. It looks awesome..
It’s awesome to see your decisions to keep making CZcams videos is paying off for you!!! Keep it up bro!
I used that automotive Dupli Color on my ice fish house frame. I chose the jet black because NAPA didn't have gloss black. I painted it back in 2010 and its held up in Minnesota weather since then.
Looks Awosome. You got some skills, man. You should be proud of it.
Great build all the way to the end ...honest in every video is awesome ...really think your buggy should be an example of how things should be made on production lines
Yo bro you should b proud of yourself you hung tough and figured it all out i watched all the videos of this and all your builds now this 1 to date is my favorite ...you have a lot of talent i cant wait to c what you build next ....Fantastic job and congrats again on a job well done .
People who leave a negative comment I have to ask. What makes you think anyone cares what you think? Also what have you done that makes you qualified to judge someone else? This guy is all heart and doesn't over illustrate. Well done. I watched the whole build pretty much in one sitting. Good luck i will be hoping for the best for you.
Great job colors turned out awesome.
absolutely stellar sir continue the impressive work
it looks amazing! great work
Looks awesome, great job!
Man it looks so nice! Cool Project
Well done excellent build looks amazing
Awesome buggy man
You do some nice work 👌
This is amazing, keep up the good work! am really amazed
Dude, bad freaking ass! Well done! This build turned me on to your channel. Well done sir!
The paint job came out really nice dude!
This buggy is amazing great job!!!
I watched this when the videos were coming out, but I had one of the videos from the series pop up as a suggestion yesterday, so I rewatched them. Now that it's been a while and a half, I now had suggestions. Wheel alignment for sure, maybe an electric wench that drives a chain and sprocket that spins on the outside of what you already have connected to the drive shaft, on a free spot on the chain. And maybe some optional flip out/down mirrors. The reverse would just be on a push button that only works with the motor in neutral or requires the clutch to be fully pressed when you press the button. But that's all in the past now. Oh well. Lol
it looks stunning Jake 👍👍👍
Awesome build and colours.
Great to see you finishing up the buggy. For paint....have you ever considered Rustoleum enamel in gallon cans. Combined with Valspar enamel hardener it shoots well, dries fairly quick and ends up as a tough coat. I shoot it from a purple HF gravity feed gun. Lots faster than doing all the little spray cans and usually ends up cheaper to boot.
That’s a cool buggy 👍😎 you need to take it to the desert or beach and let rip 🤘 nice work 👍
looks great!!
I used that duplicolor paint to paint a car, it worked really well
This is a really good color choice, looks sick!
You should spray a gloss black behind the chrome paint it should help it stick and make the finished paint job a lot more shiny.
Looks absolutely sick! Well done that man 😎👌🙌
Nice buggy great job hope u enjoy the fruits of your labor
By far your best built yet I like it
Absaloutely beautiful! Love it an its looks! Have fun!
The VF1000 project Buggy is badass you should go in business building these and selling them as side by sides and mini buggys also keep up the good work
U made a great machine that will roll over everything it's a beast. wonderful job has done and what to say it's awesome
Harold ... Your best work yet. Be proud, You deserve it.
