True. Some replicas do still bring joy to many. You'd never see this style on the roads as the original are just too expensive to risk.
Audi R8 for me - thanks. That spec is da bomb. Has to be a bargain if well looked after but that is the risk that one takes at auction.

My friend has an Alfa QF. Very envious. Sounds berserk in Race. He has his lowered with some suspension tweaks.

Nice cars. I still worry about the finance rates pushing these out of my reach and perhaps even lower. Then add the running costs, these are hardly investments on the whole.
True.. a couple of them might go up enough to cover even the running costs but one has to look at this as an opportunity to the get the exact spoc car that they want at a decent price.
I saw a mad M4 today. I believe it was a CS and it had a super wide body on it. You could see where they had added larger wider wheelarches to the car. Must have had spacers. Not sure if I liked it or not but the M3 shown here does look good to me. 👌
I do prefer the older E30 but, as mentioned, the newer M3s look damn good to me too. Not the same experience but a very capable family car.

Yes, but more important, FUN! Light weight and open air make them such fun to drive at any speed. On the corners they will be as good, if not better, than most modern sports cars.

Well, I bought the Ferrari when the Emira was delayed. I still have the Lotus, the Bentley and since bought an integrale and Porsche 924 Carrera GT so I guess the latter two are in lieu of the Ferrari.
Bit scary having a Ferrari as a racing circuit car but was very surprised at the cheapness of those two lightweights. I guess there are still large running costs involved if you track them regularly?
Well, cheap to buy and easy to work on, relatively speaking. Their lightness also means less wear on tyres and suspension.
Still, track day racing is still an expensive hobby.
F12 for under STG 140,000 sounds like a deal to me. With you on the blue. When you think how much a TDF is and it is only a bit better. Wow.
Yeah.. One could say the TDF and Comp are well over priced but Ferrari specials do get massively higher prices than their standard versions.
Not sure I could trust myself at an auction. I would get too excited, emotional and probably end up having to sell my house, and the wife. LOL. 😂

3 - 6% + VAT. There is often a minimum and maximum charge.
Buyers certainly need to factor this in.
For example, a £100,000 purchase is really £107,200 !!
