Looking at the market it doesn't seem to have that big of an impact, maybe like +20% at most.
Also a few more people printing 20 div per hour doesn't impact that much compared to other strats.
Like the sweaty people are already making like 5-20 div per hour, so the only thing is that it doesn't require gear.
Great idea! Imagine a league with 700k players, 1hh, 2 void batteries, 50 shavs and all othere items you need for your build beeing super duper rare for the first month. Beeing stuck on your league starter for at least 3 weeks. The streamers and no lifers make items YOU need available. You should try ssf and see how many builds you can play.

@@daath912 tbh I played quite a few 100-500 player private leagues and those aren't as rare even with just most people who just alch and go.
This is why i play ssf. No fomo, no abusing shit.

The only abuse in SSF is self harm when trying to get a tier 1 drop haha.
SSF player here, so nice being able to just chill and play how I want and ignore all the economic landslides :D

Honestly i'm glad to starting play ssf like 2 leagues ago, so i enjoy more the grind process of gear my caracter and don't have to worry about tft and the crazy prices of the market (i have nothing against that), this hot fix is good for the health of the game, like i said the journey is the joy of the process, once you reached the peak few days later you loose the interest.
I hate being the small fish.
Trade league here and didnt play yesterday. I'm not mad about this at all. Trade prices will change a bit, but this should really not bother anyone thats not playing a hyper optimized currency farming strat.
Thisnis why ggg and the game are awful now. They think we should get divines in windows instead of just playing the game like we used to. Theyll never get close to peak 3.12 /3.13 again. Poe is a mobile game meme now.
And yes you get the divines in the map but you know you're getting tbem before you enter.
Looks like we got another taste of Affliction league again just for a couple days… lol

even SSF gets hit, they took crafting away from us (no more veiled chaos) so now we need more divs for meta crafting, and now they took away the divines (devoted modifiers are rarer so is not just about the quantity of the divines droping) unless i am terribly wrong ofc

Divine being cheap is good for normies since we benefit from cheaper crafts and mid tier items anyway.
My first character didn't turn out to be one I enjoyed (ea ballista) and was struggling towards red maps, so I made a new one and got it to end game all of yesterday when I could have been hideout warrioring.
That said, history repeats itself. A lot of people will be focusing on the league mechanic (cough cough affliction), which means prices for all other content (cough cough harvest) will be inflated to an astronomical level. I also joined late in affliction and was able to get farm a mageblood and HH via non-league mechanics, and am hoping to do the same here.
Lots of opportunity in the market! No one should be caught thinking "oh no, the only way to make currency got nerfed". As you've said, lots of ways to play and enjoy the game even if they are not meta currency making methods and still purchase big ticket items.
I did it, and it was fun, but I rather craft and sell things to the newbies.
This league is just one train wreck after another. Edit, anyone know a good early league delve build, far as i know GGG haven't fked that up yet.

Good way to destroy league. Inflating prices of items that are build enabling therefore more ppl quitting league for us that were not first week t16 maps. Tryhards win rest of us lose same as last league.

Have been stopping myself from rage posting bout this. Im a normie and was at work. I have never been more pissed off and disappointed. What a stupid knee jerk decision. Ive been playing poe for about 10 years, have about 3.6k hours. This is easily the worst move in poe history. Give all the sweaty no lifers 100's of div, and totally shaft the normal people who have jobs ect. They have totally fucked the econ, made the rich richer and the poors like me will have a harder time clawing our way out. hmmmmmmmm...

It takes some seriously motivated reasoning to try and spin this as a good thing. POE hasn't been making life easy for it's content creators lately.
Well, at least as I've covered PoE I think the game took a huge hit and dip after Heist. That being said, I'm enjoying playing, just not to the levels of Incursion-Heist. Those years were absolute peak PoE for me.
