When this Laverda was nothing but a rumour, I wanted - and that want has never waned. My much beloved Ducati Super Sport will have to do but.....I still want!!!
Very interesting that today nobody of those modern factories did not try to make bike vith this concept , longitudinal V6 . This engine sound perfect . Will be very interesting about performance and all about concept . Can not wait for something like this in new era .
In 1978, the Laverda V6 was so powerful compared to the race bikes of that period (40 km/h more top speed than the factory Honda endurance racers) that 6 cylinder bikes where forbidden the year after. This was the end for the Laverda project and probably has discouraged other manufactures to explore this concept.
@@Moto-Officina A beautiful machine! I was a rider of Laverda for many years, 3C, Mirage 1200, 180 degree Jota. I was told that the V6 was made with the collaboration of Porsche. O was also told there was some testing of the V6 on the Isle of Man TT circuit and that there was a future plan to market the V6 with fuel injection in place of the 6 downdraft carburetors?
I think nobody noticed...mostly Laverda were sounds so much like Big Giants Italian cars like Ferrari and this angry V6 Laverda sounds like Ferrari in bike world! Wow..so peeps always remember if Red means Ferrari then Orange means Laverda! One should add synonyms to these colors!
Crikey - get a wheel chock on the front, it's on a paddock stand already...swing yer leg over it, and ride it through the gears to REALLY hear it. I'm never a fan of 'voom, voom, VOOM, VOOOM, voom and then just killing the sound.
Ive had 3 laverda's ,, always liked them,, built like a combine harvester 😅
Another beautiful Laverda, what a beast
Grazie Angelo! 😃
meraviglia!
Back in the day when manufacturers made real motorcycles with character that have withstood the ravages of time and mass production.

6 monocorpo spesso disaccoppiati su un 6 cilindri .. che spettacolo opera di arte artigiana
what a machine👍
Che brividi sentire il motore grande laverda
Orange rocks!!!🥰

Love that sound.
Only 3 in the world!
When motorcycles aré motorcycles, and electrónics aré only for the sparks plugs....
Sounds like my dog- hechling angry 🤩🐶💫🚀
The long swingarm is unique and must feel different to the rider.
Balancing them carburettors will be interesting to watch . . .
