- Many years ago Cor Dees decided to build his own Laverda V6.
This video shows the first start of the Laverda V6.
The Laverda V6 is expected to be shown at different motor-shows all over europe etc. as soon as its finished.
There still is some work to be done.
Seeing your wife happy after the bike starts might be one of the best feelings. Unfortunately a lot of guys don't get any support of appreciation for their hobbies, especially motorcycles! Thsts the kind of family a man needs!
100%!
I wish my girlfriend would be half as exited about anything as your wife is seeing all that hard work come together. Good work sir. One hell of a bike, and one hell of a woman too.
Exactly that!
When an engine fires up, for the first time, after all that work, and it lives! It's such a wonderful feeling. Well done.
Tu, Fratello, con questo video hai parlato una lingua internazionale. Quella della passione e dell'amore per l'arte. Sei un esempio da seguire e da italiano, ti dico: GRAZIE! Anzi urlo : GRAZIE!!!
Your wife is a treasure!! She is as happy as you are! Well done Mister!
Absolutely!
I was at the Festival Of 1000 Bikes, Mallory Park, July 2007. Seeing and hearing the Laverda V6 as well as all the other Laverdas running on the track was unforgettable. Another treat was to be invited to sit with the Laverda Owners Club and enjoy the company of Piero Laverda, his family, friends and factory riders. Bought the same T shirt as worn by these gentlemen and also a DVD of different Laverdas (including the V6}. Fabulous weekend!
CONGRATULATION. wonderful to see the love for the bike and your passion.
Your family is the greatest team. What an awesome machine built through passion. 👊❤️
I know this magic moment of the first screaming after years of blind job on a strange beast...congratulations
What wonderful moment, thank you Cor for sharing this. I have been following the story of this build from the start. A fantastic achievement, well done.
Very, very well done, truly magnificent! What a project to take on, and to have the tenacity and skill to persevere with it to realise the true reward. Congratulations Cor and to all those whose supported you in so many ways.
What's up Greg
Such a shame that it was never fully developed. A magnificent piece of Italian art in looks and sound. The Honda CBX and this bike are two of the most visually unique engines ever to grace a motorcycle. Unlike the cookie cutter engines of today. Well done with the restoration.
Benelli 6 cilindri...
my god ! what is that thing ? the passion is the thing wish i had that around me wonderful !
Simply exceptional, dedication, care and craftsmanship to ensure we can all enjoy this exquisite machine.
fair play for the 'will it? wont it?' nature of the clip instead of making sure it will start. genuine guy...and gal!
Ben jaren geleden met mijn 80 jarige vader in t museum wezen kijken en wat een fantastische collectie stond daar. Deze was toen nog in opbouw
Magical!Teamwork makes the Dream work!
Merveille de mécanique chapeau les ingénieurs et théniciens 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍🏍🏍
I can not wait to retired soon and definitely will come to see Laverdamuseum in live and if possible to hear this amaising noice of Laverda V6 . When I was student I did have chance to visit original factory in Italy . Also can not wait to retired and do the same job like Cor . My plane is to by one small 5-axis CNC machine and teach students in Serbia how to programming those machines . The best practicing is to make maby parts for why not another Laverda V6 ( the third one ) . Never know . One more time congratulations Cor for a great job. What a happynes whan you hear this noice of V6 with open pipe . God bless you people

What an achievement! It is a truely beautiful piece of engineering.
Well done Sir, an amazing machine and equally amazing family support you have.
Very very cool bike, i have " tinkered" with bikes most of my life but nothing to this extent, i have a lot of respect for the amount of work, time, engineering and money it took to build that 👍🇺🇸. (edited because of typo).

So in the title it says he built his own Laverda V6. I don't understand. There is only 1 of these bikes, correct, so he rebuilt the one?
yes!
COUNTACH !!! !!!
Ing. Giuglio Alfieri was the designer of this 1000cc V6, and others amazing V12: Maserati V12, probably as well as the Honda F1 1963 & 350GT Lamborghini....V12 7.0 Marine, LM001/002, & Countach 48valvole 5000cc!
