Transformers has been a super huge brand for decades and always a popular product on toy shelves everywhere. The idea of having Michael Bay make a feature-length commercial for them filled with cool cars, military stuff, pretty girls and explosions seemed like a no-brainer! And a no-brainer it definitely was.
Transformers does raise some questions though. Like what are the odds that Sam Witwicky would be car-shopping on the very same day a shapeshifting car robot was looking for him? Why did that robot attack the soldiers a second time if they didn’t have any data? Why is Mikaela eating at Burger King? Why does Megatron have the random ability of etching coordinates into tiny pieces of glass? How is Megatron speaking English? Why did the soldiers think it would be a good idea to go hide the Allspark in a densely-populated city?

For a second I wondered if they were talking about Transformers 2. These movies really run together.
nono transformers 2 is the one where they have a decepticon that can disguise itself as a human girl and it kisses sam and also there's another transformer with wrecking ball testicles.
Only way I can tell them apart is whether or not the chick is smoking hot, or just like regular hot, because they didn't have the same chick in the sequel, but they picked a girl who was almost as hot

Nothing wrong with Sam hooking up with Mikaela. They were looking to bang almost the entire movie. The weird bit is that it happens in the open with a live autobot audience.

What's the "one second later" for? You literally quoted a line from the video we all just watched. The dude said they talk about something, then continues detailing what that something includes. There's nothing special about it. That's like adding "pauses to take a breath", or "pauses for a comma". It's redundant.

One critique: They didn't move the All Spark to the Hoover Dam. They built the dam around it to hide it and didn't move it at all. They only brought Megatron there (he crashed in the Arctic while going to Earth to retrieve the cube). So the coordinates on the glasses were still for the All Spark's crash site (where the Hoover Dam was built)
I remembered the whole movie being the discepency.

Fun joke about Megatron learning English but it does make perfect sense. He's been listening to tiny creatures babbling in it for decades. That's also why his first words would be "I am Megatron!" since, for the last few decades, the insects have been calling him "NBE1" and he's long since sick of it.
